  <strong>Munich</strong>. With the BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle
  of Man TT, BMW Motorrad introduces a special model limited to 115
  units to mark the 115th running of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy in
  2026. The edition is based on the BMW M 1000 RR M Competition and
  combines exclusive TT design elements with carefully selected
  equipment features and collector attributes.<br clear="all" />
  <br clear="all" />Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW Motorrad: “Racing is part
  of BMW Motorrad’s DNA. The BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man
  TT is therefore the logical evolution of a special model based on the
  BMW M 1000 RR. This model bridges our successful <br clear="all" />TT
  heritage and our M models, and is a strong expression of racing DNA,
  technical precision and exclusivity.”<br clear="all" />
  <br clear="all" />With this edition limited to 115 units, BMW Motorrad
  pays tribute to one of the most historic and demanding road races in
  the world. Key features include the British Racing Green Uni Matt
  paint finish, selected Mountain Course graphics, and sequential
  numbering with a certificate of authenticity.<br clear="all" />
  <br clear="all" />
  <strong>Design: distinctive, precise and authentic<br clear="all" />
    <br clear="all" />
  </strong>The design of the Limited Edition is consistently aligned
  with TT DNA: British Racing Green Uni Matt meets specific TT graphics
  featuring selected sections of the TT Mountain Course – left-hand
  turns on the left, right-hand turns on the right fairing side. A
  carbon airbox cover with TT course and TT logo, further carefully
  placed details, and a seat in Alcantara finish underscore the
  motorsport character. The aluminium tank with graphic accents
  completes the premium appearance.<br clear="all" />
  <br clear="all" />
  <strong>Equipment of the Limited Edition<br clear="all" />
    <br clear="all" />
  </strong>The special edition is based on the BMW M 1000 RR with M
  Competition package (without pillion package). In addition, it
  features exclusive edition-specific elements:</p>
<ul>
  <li>Milled numbering on the top yoke</li>

  <li>TT branding and lettering on the rear frame</li>
  <li>Rear workstand</li>
  <li>Assembly stand mounting</li>
  <li>M motorcycle mat (250 x 105 cm) with M logo and TT logo </li>
</ul>
<p>The BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT is aimed at
  customers who combine uncompromising performance with a clear focus on
  exclusivity and collector value.<br clear="all" />
  <br clear="all" />
  <strong>Homage to the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy<br clear="all" />
    <br clear="all" />
  </strong>For decades, the Tourist Trophy has stood for outstanding
  rider skill, maximum precision and exceptional technical
  performance. BMW Motorrad has a close connection to this history –
  from Georg Meier’s legendary TT victory in 1939 to current successes
  on the <br clear="all" />S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR. The Limited Edition
  takes up this heritage and translates it into a distinctive, exclusive
  production model.<br clear="all" />
  <br clear="all" />
  <strong>BMW Motorrad and the TT: historical milestones<br clear="all" />
    <br clear="all" />
  </strong>In 1939, Georg Meier won the Senior TT on the BMW RS 255
  Kompressor. In 1976, another major TT success followed: Helmut Dähne,
  together with Hans-Otto Butenuth, won the 1,000 cc Production class on
  the BMW R 90 S. In the modern era, <br />BMW Motorrad has continued
  this tradition on the Mountain Course with the S 1000 RR and later the
  M 1000 RR.<br clear="all" />
  <br clear="all" />
  <strong>Successes since 2014<br clear="all" />
    <br clear="all" />
  </strong>Since the introduction of the RR models in the modern TT era,
  BMW Motorrad has repeatedly demonstrated its competitiveness on the
  Mountain Course. Michael Dunlop achieved a breakthrough in the 1,000
  cc class on the BMW S 1000 RR in 2014. <br clear="all" />Peter Hickman
  shaped the more recent period of success with multiple victories,
  including a hat-trick in 2022 in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior
  TT races on <br clear="all" />BMW motorcycles. In 2025, Davey Todd
  further underlined the performance of the <br clear="all" />BMW M 1000
  RR with a Superbike victory and additional strong results in the 1,000
  cc classes. A particularly striking testament to current performance
  is the overall all-time lap record on the TT Mountain Course set in
  2023: 16:36.115 minutes with an average speed of 136.358 mph (approx.
  219.4 km/h), achieved by Peter Hickman on a <br />BMW M 1000 RR in
  Superstock specification.<br clear="all" />
  <br clear="all" />
  <strong>Limitation and availability<br clear="all" />
    <br clear="all" />
  </strong>The M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT will be produced
  in a strictly limited run of 115 units, further emphasizing its
  exclusive collector character.<br clear="all" />

<p>

  <br />With 18 victories and a total of 27 podium finishes, as well as
  527 points at the end, "El Turco" was the dominant rider of
  the 2024 season, securing the first world championship title for BMW
  Motorrad Motorsport. The 28-year-old further emphasized his
  outstanding season performance with six pole positions, 13 fastest
  race laps, and winning the Pirelli Best Lap Award. For Razgatlıoğlu,

  2021, and with a total of 57 victories, he currently ranks fourth in
  the all-time best list.</p>
<p>Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW Motorrad: "Toprak's incredible

<p>
  <strong>Signed BMW M 1000 RR M Competition in world champion

  <strong>The new BMW M 1000 RR, BMW S 1000 RR, BMW M 1000 R, and BMW S
    1000 R: The superbikes and hyper naked bikes are set to enter the
    upcoming season with even more dynamism.<br /></strong>Both the
  superbikes M 1000 RR and S 1000 RR, as well as the emotional hyper
  naked bikes<br />M 1000 R and S 1000 R, have been technically and
  visually updated and come with expanded standard features for the
  upcoming motorcycle season. Common changes include the Euro 5+
  homologation of the engines and the inclusion of the M short-stroke
  throttle with a reduced rotation angle.</p>
<p>
  <strong>BMW M 1000 RR: Drastically Increased Performance through More
    Power, Enhanced Downforce, and Steering Angle Sensor Technology.</strong></p>
<p>The new M 1000 RR – abbreviated as M RR – benefits from a significant
  power increase of the inline-four engine by 4 kW (6 hp) to 160 kW (218
  hp) thanks to an extensive package of measures.</p>
<p>Additionally, it features optimized aerodynamics through a newly
  designed front fairing. The newly constructed M Winglets 3.0, with
  drastically increased downforce, support even faster lap times on the
  racetrack. Furthermore, the Flex Frame has been further developed and
  now includes a new engine mount on the left side.</p>
<p>BMW Motorrad has also made improvements to the control systems. The
  Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) now features the new Slide Control
  function thanks to steering angle sensor technology. This has resulted
  in a new subdivision of the DTC into Slip Control and Slide Control.
  The introduction of steering angle sensor technology has also led to
  the new Brake Slide Assist function of the BMW Race ABS Pro. Combined
  with the M short-stroke throttle, this results in significantly
  increased performance and control.</p>
<p>As before, the new M RR is offered in two versions: the M 1000 RR
  base variant in the primary color Lightwhite uni and the<br />M 1000
  RR M Competition in the primary color Blackstorm metallic, each
  combined with graphics in M colors.</p>
<p>
  <strong>BMW S 1000 RR: Even higher track performance and significantly
    enhanced standard features.<br /></strong>The S 1000 RR –
  abbreviated as Double-R – has been significantly refined, especially
  for track use. The M short-stroke throttle allows the S 1000 RR to
  respond even more directly to every command at the throttle, new
  winglets provide increased downforce, a new front wheel cover with
  integrated brake ducts improves brake cooling, and new fairing side
  panels offer a more striking design.</p>
<p>Additionally, the standard features of the Double-R have been
  significantly enhanced. The Pro riding modes are now standard,
  including additional "Race Pro" modes, two more combinations
  of throttle response and engine torque, as well as the Engine Brake
  and Hill Start Control Pro functions, five-level adjustable ABS in the
  "Race Pro" modes, and the ABS setting "Slick." The
  Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) is also a new standard feature.</p>
<p>The new S 1000 RR is offered in three attractive color schemes: the
  base variant in Blackstorm metallic, the Sport model variant in
  Bluestone metallic with matte graphic applications, and the M
  Motorsport variant in Lightwhite uni/M Motorsport in combination with
  the M package.</p>
<p>
  <strong>BMW M 1000 R: Refinement for the M Hyper Naked
  Bike.<br /></strong>For the upcoming season, the M 1000 R –
  abbreviated as M R – has received a more dynamic design with the new
  dual-flow LED headlight derived from the RR models and the M logo in
  the air intake between the headlights.</p>
<p>The new M 1000 R is available as a base variant in the color scheme
  Lightwhite uni/M Motorsport and in the new color White Aluminium
  metallic matt. In the M Competition equipment variant, this paint is
  also available alongside the color scheme Blackstorm metallic/M Motorsport.</p>
<p>In all color schemes, the rear frame and swingarm of the new model
  year are in Platinum Grey metallic. The winglets are finished in black
  textured paint, and the covers for the clutch and generator are also
  coated in black.</p>
<p>The traction control DTC has also been revised. The control strategy
  has been derived from the RR models and, in combination with the M
  short-stroke throttle, brings a noticeable improvement, especially in
  Race mode for track days.</p>
<p>An expanded range of Original BMW Motorrad accessories and special
  equipment completes the scope of changes.</p>
<p>
  <strong>BMW S 1000 R: Hyper Naked Bike with increased power and
    enhanced standard features.<br /></strong>The hyper naked bike S
  1000 R – abbreviated as Single-R – now starts with an even more
  powerful inline-four engine, offering 125 kW (170 hp). A shorter final
  drive ratio enhances sprint performance. The optimized standard Shift
  Assistant Pro supports even smoother gear changes. Combined with the
  new M short-stroke throttle, this results in a significantly more
  dynamic setup and noticeably better acceleration in all situations.
  Additionally, the traction control DTC of the S 1000 R benefits from
  the revisions made to the DTC from the M 1000 R, further enhancing its performance.</p>
<p>The new Single-R also receives the new dual-flow LED headlight
  derived from the RR models, providing a more striking appearance. The
  expanded standard features of the<br />S 1000 R include the engine
  drag torque control (MSR) with configurable "Engine Brake,"
  a short license plate holder, a USB-C charging socket under the seat,
  and the intelligent emergency call E-Call.</p>
<p>The new Single-R is offered in three attractive color schemes: the
  base variant in Blackstorm metallic, the Sport model variant in
  Bluefire/Mugiallo Yellow, and in combination with the M package in
  Lightwhite uni/M Motorsport.</p>
<p>
  <strong>Overview of all new standard features:</strong></p>

  <strong>"The M XR is the third M model from BMW Motorrad. Based
    on the current <br />S 1000 XR and S 1000 RR, the product substance
    of the M 1000 XR - M XR for short - has been tuned to meet the
    specific requirements of a long-distance sports bike. The riding
    dynamics speak for themselves, both on the country roads as well as
    on the race track and on long-distance
  journeys".<br /></strong>Dominik Blass, M 1000 XR Product Manager.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>The new BMW M 1000 XR: the long-distance sports bike designed
    to meet the highest demands, from dynamic riding on country roads to
    long-distance touring and racing.<br /></strong>At the end of 2018,
  BMW Motorrad already introduced the successful M model range strategy
  for motorcycles and has been offering M special equipment and M
  performance parts ever since.  The new BMW M 1000 XR is the third M
  model from BMW Motorrad to celebrate its world premiere, following
  the M 1000 RR superbike and the dynamic <br />M 1000 R roadster: The
  long-distance sports bike M 1000 XR.<br />
  <br />In the centenary year of BMW Motorrad, the dynamic philosophy of
  the world's most powerful letter is also applied to the new M XR:  M
  is synonymous worldwide with racing success and the fascination of
  high-performance BMW models and is aimed at customers with
  particularly high demands for performance, exclusivity and individuality.<br />
  <br />With an engine output of 148 kW (201 hp), a DIN empty weight of
  only 223 kg and suspension technology and aerodynamics designed
  equally for high-performance country road use, extended long-distance
  trips and fast laps on the race track, the new M XR, as the lightest
  representative of this crossover segment, opens up dynamic driving
  dimensions previously reserved for thoroughbred superbikes.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Powerful M XR 4-cylinder based on the RR engine. Even more
    peak power, higher torque and increased thrust and traction thanks
    to shorter secondary and gear ratios for maximum riding pleasure on
    country roads and race tracks.<br /></strong>The new M XR features a
  modified water-cooled 4-cylinder in-line engine based on the power
  unit of the S 1000 RR. Its peak power is 148 kW (201 hp) at 12,750
  rpm, 23 kW <br />(31 hp) more than in the new S 1000 XR. The maximum
  torque of 113 Nm is reached at 11,000 rpm. The maximum engine speed of
  the M XR is 14,600 rpm. Increased rear wheel pulling power in all
  gears is also provided by a shorter secondary gear ratio through the
  use of a sprocket with now 47 teeth (S 1000 XR: 45 teeth). In
  addition, the gear ratios of the 4th, 5th and 6th gear are now shorter
  compared to the S 1000 XR, which also benefits traction at the rear
  wheel, acceleration and pulling power.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>M winglets and wind deflectors: Brake later, reduce wheelies
    and accelerate earlier thanks to aerodynamic
  downforce.<br /></strong>In addition to drive and suspension
  technology, aerodynamics was also a key item in the specifications for
  developing the M XR. The new M XR was given winglets in the area of
  the front side panels with the aim of achieving even faster lap times
  on the race track and the best possible riding stability at high
  speeds, From a speed of about 100 km/h, they provide an increase in
  front wheel load thanks to the aerodynamic downforce generated. It
  increases by approx. 12 kg at 220 km/h.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Chassis trimmed for performance-oriented riding on country
    roads and race tracks with Dynamic Damping Control (DDC), adjustable
    spring base, adjustable steering damper, milled-over handlebar clamp
    and more front-oriented tubular handlebar with laser-etched
    "BMW M XR" lettering.<br /></strong>The suspension and
  chassis of the new M XR are based on the S 1000 XR with the aluminium
  bridge frame as the centrepiece. The M XR features upside-down forks
  with a 45 mm slide tube diameter at the front. The forks are equipped
  with so-called <br />closed cartridge inserts, separate hydraulic
  piston-cylinder systems. Another new feature of the M XR is the
  additional adjustability of the fork's spring base in conjunction with
  the standard Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) suspension strut.<br />
  <br />In addition, the forks of the M XR feature an upper fork bridge
  with an elaborately milled-over handlebar clamp as well as a more
  front-oriented black aluminium tubular handlebar with
  lasered "BMW M 1000 XR" lettering. The handlebar end mirrors
  available as an option ex works are also new on the M XR. The fork
  legs have also been modified and are now designed to accommodate the
  new M brake callipers. Another new element of the <br />M XR is the
  adjustable steering damper.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>M brakes with radial hand brake pump and lightweight forged
    aluminium wheels for optimum riding dynamics on the race track and
    in performance mode. Exclusive <br />M Carbon wheels are available
    as part of the M Competition package or as an individual
  option.<br /></strong>After the M 1000 RR and the M 1000 R, the new M
  XR is the third BMW motorcycle to feature an M brake. It was developed
  directly using the experience gained with the racing brakes on BMW
  Motorrad factory racing machines in the Superbike World Championship.
  The M brake callipers feature a blue anodised coating in conjunction
  with the famous <br />M logo.<br />
  <br />Together with two 320 mm brake discs of 5 mm thickness and black
  anodised aluminium brake disc carriers, the brake system equipped with
  a new radial hand brake pump currently marks the pinnacle of brake
  development in the field of road-legal systems. The new M XR is
  already equipped with very lightweight forged aluminium wheels as
  standard. As part of the M Competition package, the exclusive M Carbon
  wheels are available with newly designed tapes on the rim.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Brake Slide Assist - assists the rider when brake
  drifting.<br /></strong>The Brake Slide Assist function is an
  important and very helpful innovation, especially for race track
  riders. It allows the rider to brake drift into corners with a
  constant slide.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Instrument cluster with perfectly readable 6.5-inch TFT
    display, new display of the rev counter (red area) and OBD interface
    for </strong>
  <strong>M GPS Datalogger and <br />M GPS Laptrigger that can be used
    via unlock code.<br /></strong>The instrument cluster of the new M
  XR corresponds to the design of the M RR and also offers the M
  start-up animation. The extended display of the red speed range is a
  new feature. As optional equipment, comprehensive data material for
  using the <br />M GPS Laptrigger and the M GPS Datalogger (Original
  BMW Motorrad Accessories) can be provided by means of an unlock code
  via the OBD interface of the instrument cluster.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>M Design and the dynamic design of the M XR signal pure
    performance and sportiness. <br /></strong>Even more than the S 1000
  XR, the new M XR with its optimised chassis technology and the most
  powerful engine to date in a dynamic long-distance sports bike from
  <br />BMW Motorrad is uncompromisingly designed for sporty riding -
  whether on country roads, long-distance tours or on the race track.  M
  XR - there is currently no better performing and lighter vehicle in
  this crossover segment.  The proportions of the M XR are ultra-compact
  and powerful.  Three-dimensional surfaces create excitement and a
  dynamic look.  Slim, sleek and extremely aggressive, the M XR's front
  end is unmistakable with its new M winglets, designed as quadruple
  wings.  The performance-oriented look of the new M XR is also
  reflected in the colour concept, with the body in Black combined with
  the M colours Light Blue, Dark Blue and Red.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Uncompromising design and technology: The M XR featuring the M
    Competition Package.<br /></strong>If the new M XR in standard trim
  is still not enough for you, the M Competition Package offers a
  fascinating mix of refined components for the racing technology
  gourmet and the aesthetically minded rider alike. In addition, this
  makes the new M XR another 3 kg lighter. The M Competition Package
  includes M Carbon wheels, M Carbon parts such as rear wheel cover with
  integrated chain guard, side panels, front wheel cover, inner cover
  and ignition/steering lock cover as well as a fully adjustable M rider
  footrest system, passenger footrests and the MGPS Laptrigger (unlock code).<br />

  <strong>"The M R is the second M model from BMW Motorrad. Based
    on the current S 1000 R and S 1000 RR, the product substance of the

    requirements of a supersport roadster. The riding dynamics speak for
    themselves both on the country road and on the race
  track."</strong> Ralf Mölleken, Project Manager 4-cylinder models<br />
  <br />T<strong>he new BMW M R: The M Roadster meets the highest
    demands on both country road and the race track.</strong></p>
<p>At the end of 2018, BMW Motorrad already introduced the successful M
  automobile range strategy for motorcycles and has since been offering
  M special equipment and M Performance Parts. The new BMW M 1000 R -
  hereafter referred to as the M R for short - is the second M model
  from BMW Motorrad to celebrate its world premiere, following the M
  1000 RR superbike: The M Roadster.<br />
  <br />In the anniversary year of the 50th birthday of BMW M GmbH, BMW
  Motorrad is also adhering to the dynamic philosophy of the most
  powerful letter in the world with the new M R: M is synonymous
  worldwide with racing success as well as the fascination of
  high-performance BMW models and is aimed at customers with
  particularly high demands for performance, exclusivity and individuality.<br />
  <br />With an engine output of 154 kW (210 hp), a DIN empty weight of
  only 199 kg fully fuelled, and suspension technology and aerodynamics
  designed for both high-performance road use and fast laps on the
  racetrack, the new M R delivers a dynamic riding experience in the
  roadster segment previously reserved for thoroughbred superbikes.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Powerful M R 4-cylinder based on the RR engine. Even more peak
    power, higher torque and increased thrust and traction thanks to
    shorter secondary and gear ratios for maximum riding pleasure on
    country roads and race tracks.</strong></p>
<p>The new M R features a modified water-cooled 4-cylinder in-line
  engine based on the power unit of the S 1000 RR. Its peak power output
  is 154 kW (210 hp) at 13,750 rpm, 33 kW (45 hp) more than in the S
  1000 R. The maximum torque of 113 Nm is generated at 11,000 rpm (S
  1000 R: 114 Nm at 9,250 rpm). Compared to the S 1000 R, the maximum
  revs of the M R are now 14,600 rpm. Increased rear wheel traction in
  all gears is also provided by a shorter secondary gear ratio through
  the use of a sprocket with 47 teeth (S 1000 R: 45 teeth). In addition,
  the gear ratios of the 4th, 5th and 6th gears are shorter, which also
  benefits thrust and traction at the rear wheel.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>M winglets and wind deflectors: You can brake later, benefit
    from a lower wheelie tendency and accelerate earlier thanks to the
    aerodynamic downforce.</strong></p>
<p>In addition to drive and suspension technology, aerodynamics was also
  a key item in the specifications for developing the M R. The new M R
  was given winglets in the area of the front side panels with the aim
  of achieving even faster lap times on the racetrack and the best
  possible riding stability at high speeds, Already at a speed of 160
  km/h, they provide an increase in front wheel load of 11 kg at 220
  km/h thanks to the aerodynamic downforce generated. The BMW Motorrad
  developers countered the slightly increased aerodynamic resistance
  caused by the small additional frontal area and shape of the M
  winglets with a correspondingly designed wind deflector in front of
  the instrument cluster in compination with the M Competition Package.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Suspension and chassis trimmed for performance-oriented use on
    country roads and racetracks featuring fully adjustable suspension
    elements, steering damper, milled-over handlebar clamp, wider
    tubular handlebar with laser-etched "BMW M 1000 R"
    lettering and handlebar end mirrors.</strong></p>
<p>The suspension and chassis of the new M R are based on the S 1000 R
  with the aluminium bridge frame as the centrepiece. On the M R, the
  front wheel is controlled by an upside-down fork with a 45 mm sliding
  tube diameter in "All black" design, i.e. it is really
  completely black. It is equipped with so-called closed cartridge
  inserts, separate hydraulic piston-cylinder systems. Another new
  feature of the M R is the additional adjustability of the fork's
  spring base in conjunction with the standard Dynamic Damping Control (DDC).<br />
  <br />In addition, the fork of the M R features an upper triple clamp
  with an elaborately milled-over handlebar clamp as well as a black
  aluminium tubular handlebar with a wider design than previously seen
  on the S 1000 R and with a lasered "BMW M 1000 R" lettering.
  Also new on the M R are the handlebar end mirrors forged from
  aluminium. The fork legs have also been modified and are now designed
  to accommodate the new M brake callipers. Another new element of the M
  R is the adjustable steering damper.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>M brakes with radial hand brake pump and lightweight forged
    aluminium wheels for optimum riding dynamics on the racetrack and in
    performance mode. Exclusive M Carbon wheels as part of the M
    Competition package.</strong></p>
<p>After the M 1000 RR, the new M R is the second BMW motorcycle to
  feature an M brake. It was developed directly using the experience
  gained with the racing brakes on BMW Motorrad factory racing machines
  in the Superbike World Championship. The M brake callipers feature a
  blue anodised coating in conjunction with the famous M logo.<br />
  <br />Together with two 320 mm brake discs of 5 mm thickness and black
  anodised aluminium brake disc carriers, the brake system equipped with
  a new radial hand brake pump currently marks the pinnacle of brake
  development in the field of road-legal systems. The new M R is already
  equipped with very lightweight forged aluminium wheels as standard. As
  part of the M Competition package, the exclusive M Carbon wheels are
  available with newly designed tapes on the rim.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Brake Slide Assist - assists the rider when brake drifting.</strong></p>
<p>The new Brake Slide Assist function is an important and very helpful
  innovation, especially for race track riders. It allows the rider to
  brake drift into corners with a constant slide.<br />
  <br />I<strong>nstrument cluster with perfectly readable 6.5-inch TFT
    display, new display of the rev counter (red area) and OBD interface
    for M GPS Datalogger and M GPS Laptrigger that can be used via
    activation code.</strong></p>
<p>The instrument cluster of the new M R corresponds to the design of
  the M RR and also offers the M start-up animation. The extended
  display of the red speed range is a new feature. As optional
  equipment, comprehensive data material for using the M GPS Laptrigger
  and the M GPS Datalogger (Original BMW Motorrad Accessories) can be
  provided by means of an activation code via the OBD interface of the
  instrument cluster.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>M Design and the dynamic design language of the M R signal
    pure performance and sportiness.</strong></p>
<p>Even more than the S 1000 R, the new M R with optimised suspension
  technology and the most powerful engine to date in a dynamic roadster
  from BMW Motorrad is uncompromisingly designed for sporty riding -
  whether on country roads or on the race track. M R - the pinnacle of
  what is currently possible in the roadster segment. The proportions of
  the M R are ultra-compact and powerful, and the three-dimensionally
  designed surfaces are both exciting and dynamic. Slim, slender and
  extremely aggressive, the M R looks extremely distinctive from the
  front with its new M winglets. In addition, the signature light makes
  the new M R clearly recognisable as a BMW from the front - analogous
  to the kidney grille on BMW automobiles.<br />
  <br />The performance-oriented look of the new M R is also reflected
  in its colour concept. Lightwhite non-metallic / M Motorsport makes
  the basic variant of the M R look particularly light, sporty and
  rider-friendly, while the Blackstorm metallic / M Motorsport colour
  scheme included in the M Competition package stands for sheer power
  and dynamism.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Uncompromising design and technology: The M R featuring the M
    Competition Package.</strong></p>
<p>If the new M R in standard trim is still not enough for you, the M
  Competition Package offers a fascinating mix of refined components for
  the racing technology gourmet and the aesthetically minded rider
  alike. In addition to the Blackstorm metallic / M Motorsport colour
  scheme, the M Competition package includes M Carbon wheels, M rider
  footrest system, M Carbon parts such as rear wheel cover and chain
  guard, front wheel cover, tank covers, airbox cover with tapes, wind
  deflector, sprocket cover, the M pillion package as well as the M
  pillion cover and a milled, fully adjustable M rider footrest system.<br />
