DTM: Racing action in the heart of Cologne.
The DTM warmed up for the coming race weekend at the nearby Nürburgring (DE) with a spectacular show for fans in Cologne (DE). The Iconic circuit will host the seventh round of the 2014 DTM season on 17th August. One week before the DTM stars put pedal to the metal in the Eifel Mountains, the popular touring car series took over the city centre in Cologne. On Saturday, the series put on an entertaining programme at the Neumarkt, in the heart of the city. The action moved up a gear on Sunday: the Deutzer Bridge over the Rhine was transformed into a racetrack for DTM cars. Maxime Martin (BE) was flying the flag for BMW Motorsport. Martin put his foot down in the BMW M Performance Zubehör M4 DTM, putting on a spectacular show for spectators against the backdrop of the world famous Cologne Cathedral.

ADAC GT Masters: Hürtgen/Baumann and Team Schubert take the lead in the drivers’ and team championships.
Team Schubert was successful in the fifth round of the ADAC GT Masters season at the Slovakia Ring near Bratislava (SK). The team from Oscherschleben (DE) celebrated a one-two on Saturday: Claudia Hürtgen (DE) and Dominik Baumann (AT) won in the number 19 BMW Z4 GT3, ahead of their team-mates Jens Klingmann (DE) and Max Sandritter (DE), who were second in the number 20 sister car. Hürtgen and Baumann made it onto the podium again in the second race on Sunday, which they finished in third place. This saw the duo take the lead in the ADAC GT Masters drivers' championship. In addition, Team Schubert took the lead in the team rankings. Klingmann and Sandritter retired on the final lap of the second race when there was a collision with another vehicle in heavy traffic.
