Munich. Summer 2025 is set to bring innovations in electric drive technology and digitalisation as well as new standard and optional equipment features that will make the current BMW model range even more attractive. New power electronics in the all-electric BMW i4 result in even greater efficiency and increased range. The most powerful BMW i4 will also debut at the same time. Numerous BMW models will come as standard with Comfort Access and the BMW Digital Key, which has now become even easier to set up.

From summer 2025, the BMW X1, BMW X2 and BMW 2 Series Active Tourer will be available with new exterior and interior options. Standard equipment for the BMW 1 Series and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé now includes heated front seats. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant now offers an alternative voice.

BMW i4: reduced consumption, new range-topper with extra power.

From July 2025, the BMW i4 eDrive35 (WLTP combined (EnVKV): energy consumption 17.5 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; CO₂ class A; range 428 km) as well as the BMW i4 eDrive40 (WLTP combined (EnVKV): energy consumption 17.8 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; CO₂ class A; range 510 km) will come with silicon carbide semiconductor components in the power electronics (SiC inverter), which reduce consumption by around 4.5 per cent while adding up to 22 kilometres of range (depending on the model and equipment installed as part of an individual vehicle configuration).

From July 2025, the new range topper for the all-electric BMW i4 comes in the shape of the BMW i4 M60 xDrive (WLTP combined (EnVKV): energy consumption 20.9 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; CO₂ class A; range 433 km). Compared to the predecessor, it provides an additional 42 kW/57 hp of power, for a system output of 442 kW/601 hp. The new BMW i4 M60 xDrive takes 3.7 seconds for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h. 

BMW Digital Key: smartphone used as key enables many additional functions.

The BMW Digital Key will soon become the tool of choice to unlock and lock many BMW models, courtesy of a simplified set-up process. The BMW iX was the first to be updated in March 2025, and many model series will follow from July 2025: the BMW 1 Series, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, BMW X1, BMW X2, BMW 5 Series Sedan, BMW 5 Series Touring, BMW M5, BMW M5 Touring and BMW 7 Series. The BMW X5, BMW X5 M, BMW X6, BMW X6 M, BMW X7 and BMW XM models will follow from August 2025. The BMW X3 will come with the new set-up process in the US from August 2025 and in South Africa from September 2025.

The feature will then include a physical key, a Setup Card and a Service Card. The new Setup Card makes it easier than ever to set up the BMW Digital Key on smartphones from all major manufacturers by simply holding the card to the mobile phone or scanning the QR code on the back. The next step takes the user straight into the My BMW app. After authorisation via the Setup Card, the BMW ID is linked to the vehicle and the BMW Digital Key is then activated. After activation, the customer can easily share the Digital Key with other people by sending them a text message. Activation is possible on up to 18 devices. Owners can define various roles and permissions for each vehicle user. A particularly useful function ideal for novice drivers is limiting acceleration and top speed, for example. If a physical key does need to be handed over, for example in the workshop or in the event of a breakdown, the new Service Card can be used. This should always be carried deactivated so it can be activated as a fully-fledged key when needed, via a click on the central display.

For all eventualities: tyre repair kit and tyre repair kit Plus.

From summer 2025, the tyre repair kit will come as standard for various BMW models. These include the BMW 1 Series, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, BMW 2 Series Coupé, BMW 3 Series Sedan, BMW 3 Series Touring, BMW 4 Series Coupé and the BMW 4 Series Convertible. The optional tyre repair kit Plus is available for the BMW X3 (excluding the BMW X3 30e xDrive).

Individual paintwork finishes at a glance, in the BMW Configurator.

Customers appreciate the BMW Individual paintwork colours as a way to add a personal touch to their new BMW. Special paintwork finishes which previously required looking up in the BMW Individual Visualiser can now be selected from within the BMW Configurator. This applies to all BMW models except for the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer.

BMW BEV models: free extended warranty for high-voltage batteries.

Since 1 April 2025, BMW has offered a global complimentary extended warranty for the high-voltage batteries in all-electric BMW models. The new warranty applies up to a vehicle age of eight years or a maximum mileage of 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. Should a high-voltage battery’s capacity drop below 70 per cent during the warranty period, BMW will remedy this loss of capacity at no extra cost to the customer. This applies to all new and used all-electric BMW models from 1 April 2025.

More equipment for BMW 1 Series and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé.

Standard equipment for the BMW 1 Series and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé will from summer 2025 be even more comprehensive and include heated front seats and an alarm system. The optional M Technology Package II available for the BMW M135 xDrive (WLTP combined (EnVKV): fuel consumption 8.3 litres/100 km; CO₂ emissions 188 g/km; CO₂ class G) and the BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé (WLTP combined (EnVKV): fuel consumption 8.2 litres/100 km; CO₂ emissions 185 g/km; CO₂ class G) now includes M seat belts with M colours in the weave.

New colours for BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, BMW X1 and BMW X2.

Summer 2025 will bring new exterior and interior options for the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, BMW X1 and BMW X2. New paintwork colours include Fire Red metallic and Night Dusk Blue for the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer as well as Dune Grey metallic for the BMW X2. All three colours are also available for the BMW X1, along with BMW Individual Frozen Portimao Blue metallic. Veganza perforated upholstery in the colours Castanea, Smoke White and Atlas Grey/Smoke White is newly available for customising the interior of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and BMW X2. The Castanea and Smoke White colourways are available for the BMW X1. The Econeer Bicolour Blue upholstery can be ordered from summer 2025 in combination with front sport seats only. Another new option is the Brushed Aluminium Shadow interior trim.

More comprehensive equipment for BMW 7 Series, BMW X3 and BMW iX.

The BMW 7 Series and BMW i7 now feature laminated safety glass with contrast print as standard. From summer 2025, comfort glazing, sun protection glazing and the Heat Comfort package will also be available as individual options for the first time, enabling even more specific customisation.

A new equipment option for the BMW X3 is the attractive M door sill trim. It can be ordered for the M Sport package, M Sport package Pro and the BMW X3 M50 xDrive (WLTP combined (EnVKV): fuel consumption 8.3 litres/100 km; CO₂ emissions 189 g/km; CO₂ class G).

BMW Individual Frozen Pure Grey metallic is a new paintwork finish with a particularly distinctive character, available as an option for the BMW iX from summer 2025.

Ultimate Package for BMW X5 M Competition and BMW X6 M Competition.

The BMW X5 M Competition (WLTP combined (EnVKV): fuel consumption 12.9 litres/100 km; CO₂ emissions 292 g/km; CO₂ class G) and the BMW X6 M Competition (WLTP combined (EnVKV): fuel consumption 12.8 litres/100 km; CO₂ emissions 289 g/km; CO₂ class G) now benefit from the optional Ultimate Package. In addition to the M Carbon engine cover, this also includes M Carbon mirror caps, the Sky Lounge panoramic glass sunroof, active seat ventilation as well as the massage function at the front and the Comfort Package. The Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System ensures exceptional sound quality. The M Driver’s Package included as part of the package increases top speed to 290 km/h. In the BMW X6 M Competition, this is complemented by an exclusive M Carbon rear spoiler.

Comprehensively upgraded BMW iDrive.

Among the numerous innovations in the area of digital services is the upgraded BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant in BMW Operating System 9. It now offers customers in Turkey, Greece and Hungary natural-language voice control in their native languages.  

In the BMW 1 Series, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé and BMW X3, customers in many countries* can now link their own Amazon Alexa account to the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. This enables them to use intuitive voice control to enjoy music via the “Hey BMW” command – courtesy of Alexa running in the background, just like at home. In addition, a second voice is now available for the assistant.** Further improvements in language understanding and faster processing speeds contribute to a more harmonious overall experience.

From summer 2025, BMW Digital Premium with BMW Operating System 9 will, subject to country-specific availability, enable customers to use the Zoom app on their Curved Display for videoconferencing when the vehicle is stationary. To avoid distractions, the app automatically deactivates the video while driving.

Parking Assistant Plus upgrade.

From July 2025, the functions of the Parking Assistant Plus will be enhanced for many BMW models. It will now also use marker lines around parking spots to help identify available spaces and ensure parking precision. Previously, this feature was only available as part of the Parking Assistant Professional.

BMW Maps user interface upgrades in BMW Operating System 8.5.

BMW Maps offers intuitive destination entry and intelligent route guidance and will come with further user interface improvements from summer 2025. For faster access to frequently used functions, the home screen of the control display will feature direct touch buttons for “Home” and “Work” in the BMW Maps QuickSelect Widget, for example.

Munich / Beijing. At Auto China 2024 in Beijing, the BMW Group presents the latest progress in its change towards electrification, digitalisation and circularity. World premieres of new BMW and MINI models take centre stage. The BMW Vision Neue Klasse, which heralds the next generation of BMW vehicles, is on show for the first time in China.

„With the NEUE KLASSE, we are carrying BMW into the future: in design, technology and philosophy. It begins already next year when we will release the NEUE KLASSE onto the market. Not with niche models – but starting in our most successful, highest-volume segments,“ says Oliver Zipse, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG.

The BMW Vision Neue Klasse signals the start of a new era of individual mobility and provides a glimpse of the BMW brand's future model generation. It is rich in digital experiences, locally emission-free and circular in the long term to ensure typical BMW driving pleasure for future generations. Production of the Neue Klasse series models will start in 2025, initially at the BMW Group plant in Debrecen and shortly afterwards in China.

The brand's most popular electric vehicle worldwide is currently the BMW i4, the new version of which will celebrate its world premiere at Auto China 2024. The success of the BMW i4 confirms the BMW Group's open technology approach, which makes it possible to produce vehicles with purely electric drive systems and highly efficient combustion engines on a common platform. In Beijing, the new BMW i4 will be shown to the public for the first time together with the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé's combustion engine variants, which have also been further developed.

The world premiere of the MINI Aceman at Auto China 2024 marks the third member of the brand's new model family. The all-electric crossover model closes the gap between the new MINI Cooper and the new MINI Countryman.

"What the NEUE KLASSE is to BMW, the New MINI Family is to MINI: the most desirable product range in the history of the brand and the biggest investment we ever made in MINI. At just over four metres long, the Aceman embodies the basic idea of the original, iconic MINI of 1959: progressive design, optimal use of space and a minimal footprint.," said Jochen Goller, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, responsible for Customer, Brand and Sales.

The Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, in short: Auto China, is one of the most important trade fairs in the international automotive industry. The 18th edition of the exhibition, which alternates with Auto Shanghai, will be held under the theme "New Era, New Cars" and will be open to the public from 25 April to 4 May 2024. At the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, car manufacturers, suppliers and service providers from all over the world will present their new models, products and technologies. The BMW Group brands will present their current product range on an exhibition area of around 2,000 square metres.

China premiere: The BMW Vision Neue Klasse.

The BMW Vision Neue Klasse combines the BMW Group's innovative strength and development expertise in the key future fields of electrification, digitalisation and circularity. A reinterpretation of the brand's typical design goes hand in hand with the progress embodied by the Vision vehicle. A clear design language reduced to the essentials with generous surfaces and few striking lines creates an almost monolithic body. Characteristic features such as the BMW radiator grille and the Hofmeister kink counter-swing on the C-pillar. are brought into even sharper focus.

In the interior, the next generation of BMW iDrive offers a unique digital user experience that merges the real and virtual worlds. It consistently puts the driver and his needs at the centre. In addition to the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel and the Central Display, the driver can interact with the vehicle using the innovative BMW Panoramic Vision. For the first time, it projects information across the entire width of the windscreen and is complemented in the Neue Klasse series by the enhanced BMW 3D Head-Up Display. Analogue controls are reduced to a minimum in the BMW Vision Neue Klasse.

The increased use of secondary raw materials, resource-conserving production methods and all-electric drive with sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology will reduce the CO₂ footprint of the Neue Klasse over the entire life cycle of the vehicles. In order to increase recyclability and take a decisive step towards a circular economy, the variety of materials used has also been reduced. An improved dismantling concept also helps to optimise the recycling of Neue Klasse vehicles.

World premiere: The new BMW i4, the new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé.

The appeal of pure electric premium mobility is also being consistently enhanced in the current model range of the BMW brand. The BMW i4 will be available in four model variants on the world's automotive markets as part of an extensive model revision. The Connected Home Charging Package for intelligent, solar- and load-optimised charging at home will be offered in the first pilot markets. The BMW i4 also offers the Plug & Charge Multi Contract function, which enables charging at fast charging stations without an app or card.

The latest advances in digitalisation are represented by the latest generation of BMW iDrive with QuickSelect based on BMW Operating System 8.5, which is available in both the new BMW i4 and the combustion engine models of the new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé. With the BMW Curved Display and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, the enhanced BMW iDrive is consistently geared towards operation via touch functions and natural speech. The digital update in the new BMW i4 and the new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé is accompanied by a redesign of the instrument panel. New steering wheels, interior trims and seat upholstery add modern accents to the premium ambience of all model variants.

On the exterior, the sporty profile of the premium mid-range models, which are extremely successful with both all-electric and conventional drive systems, has been sharpened by the redesign of the BMW radiator grille and headlights. In conjunction with the optional adaptive LED headlights, all models also feature exclusive laser rear lights. The range of exterior colours for the BMW i4 and the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé has been extended to include the new Cape York Green metallic and Fire Red metallic variants. New aerodynamic 19-inch and 20-inch wheels are also available.

World premiere: the new MINI Aceman.

With its all-electric drive, progressive crossover proportions and innovative digital features, the new MINI Aceman brings fresh impetus to the premium small car segment. It combines the brand's hallmark agility with creative use of space and high functionality, making it the ideal companion in the city. With four doors and a large tailgate, the MINI Aceman is just over four metres long and offers room for five passengers and plenty of storage space for everyday use and weekend excursions.

As a character in its own right, the MINI Aceman appeals to customers who value the expression of individuality and personality in an urban environment. Its reduced, purist exterior design with clearly defined contours and strong edges is an expression of the new MINI design language "Charismatic Simplicity".

The intelligent interior concept maximises space by cleverly arranging seats and stowage compartments to make the most of the available room. The expressive and colourful interior design is made possible by the use of high-quality materials and innovative technologies such as the 3D knitting process for the textile surfaces. The MINI Interaction Unit with circular OLED display, MINI Experience Modes and dynamic projections on the dashboard and door sills provide a holistic user experience of light, motion, interaction and sound.

Pioneers in the field of locally emission-free driving pleasure and progressive aesthetics in the premium midsize segment now have even greater appeal. Premiere of a new BMW i4 variant with electric all-wheel drive. All combustion-engined variants of the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé now link up as standard with the eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. Precise modifications for the exterior and interior. Upgraded BMW iDrive with QuickSelect and additional digital services.
• Most successful body variant of the BMW 4 Series range brings new features enhancing sense of sporting elegance. Interior has premium ambience with renewed sophistication; additions to standard equipment, newly structured options list.
• BMW i4 and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé are trailblazers for BMW’s flexible drive system architecture. Production of all model variants will take place at BMW Group Plant Munich. Worldwide market launch of the new models gets underway in July 2024. The most important sales markets are the USA, Germany, Great Britain and China.
• Front view has increased presence thanks to a newly designed BMW kidney grille with a surface that is half enclosed (BMW i4) / has a mesh structure. Grille surround in matt chrome as standard or Black high-gloss as an option.
• Strikingly designed headlights with a new structure for the LED units. Vertical light sources for the side light, daytime driving light and turn signal indicator functions. New Welcome Light Animation in cars with the optional Comfort Access. Adaptive LED Headlights with non-dazzling matrix high beam, urban lights and exclusive Laserlight rear lights in the style of the BMW M4 CSL can be specified as an option.
• Optional M Sport package and M Performance models with M-specific design features. M Sport package now with rear diffuser element in Black high-gloss and exhaust tailpipes now with larger, 100-millimetre diameter. M Sport package Pro and M Carbon exterior package available ex factory; model-specific BMW M Performance Parts can be specified from the Original BMW Accessories range.
• New Cape York metallic and Fire Red metallic added to the range of exterior paint finishes. Extensive selection of BMW Individual paint finishes and BMW Individual special paint finishes. Additional scope for individualisation thanks to new 19-inch M aerodynamic wheels and 20-inch BMW Individual aerodynamic wheels in double-spoke design.
• Progressive and sporty interior with BMW Curved Display and newly designed steering wheels. Two-spoke steering wheel with polygonal rim and illuminated multifunction buttons as standard. Optional M leather steering wheel in three-spoke design with a flat-bottomed rim and a discreet centre marking in the 12 o’clock position or with a red centre marker and decorative stitching in BMW M colours for the M Performance models. Combustion-engined models now have gearshift paddles on the steering wheel as standard.
• Sport seats in Sensatec perforated are standard. Black seat surfaces in new M Performtex are part of the M Sport package or come as standard in the M Performance models. Optional Vernasca leather upholstery with decorative quilting now also offered in the new bi-colour variant Black/Red. BMW Individual Merino leather trim in three colours can also be specified as an option.
• Instrument panel with reduced number of buttons and controls due to consistent digitalisation. The ventilation and climate control functions and optional seat and steering wheel heating can now be operated by touch via the control display, by voice command and – in the case of the ventilation – using the new adjustment controls for the air vents.
• New interior trim elements in Dark Graphite matt are standard. Optional M Sport package includes interior strips in Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite.
• Additions to standard specification for the new BMW i4 and new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé also include ambient lighting – with additional contour lighting integrated around the new central seam vents – and the interior and exterior mirror package. Optional instrument panel Luxury in Sensatec with a further refined surface structure. Also new: CraftedClarity glass applications for selected controls.
• Four-door coupé vehicle concept offers a consistent balance of practicality, everyday usability and long-distance capability – with either an electric or a conventional drive system. Five seats and a large, high-opening boot lid; boot capacity of all variants of the BMW i4 and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé can be expanded from 470 litres to a maximum 1,290 litres.
• Fully electric BMW i4 now available in four model variants. New BMW i4 xDrive40 with electric all-wheel drive, maximum system output of 295 kW/401 hp and a range of 444 – 548 kilometres (276 – 341 miles) in the WLTP cycle. Also in the line-up: the range-topping BMW i4 M50 xDrive, the BMW i4 eDrive40 and the BMW i4 eDrive35.
• Combined Charging Unit for the BMW i4 enables AC charging at a maximum rate of 11 kW and DC charging at up to 205 kW (BMW i4 eDrive35: 180 kW). All variants of the BMW i4 now suitable for Connected Home Charging in the initial group of pilot markets: solar-optimised and load-optimised charging are possible, likewise (as the scheme expands further) cost-optimised charging using a dynamic electricity tariff. Plug & Charge Multi Contract enables convenient charging mid-journey.
• New BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé available with a variety of engines. Range includes the 275 kW/374 hp six-cylinder in-line petrol engine in the BMW M440i xDrive Gran Coupé, plus two four-cylinder petrol engines, a six-cylinder in-line diesel unit and a four-cylinder diesel. The six-cylinder in-line engines and the four-cylinder diesel unit have 48V mild hybrid technology. Eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission standard for all engine variants. Engine power is transferred to the road either via classical rear-wheel drive or the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system, depending on the model.
• New BMW i4 and new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé display the brand’s familiar sporty handling and well resolved driving characteristics at all times thanks to model-specific tuning for the chassis technology. Electromechanical steering with Servotronic function, an integrated braking system and near-actuator wheel slip limitation all come as standard. M Sport suspension, adaptive M suspension with variable sport steering and M Sport brakes can be added to models equipped with the M Sport package. BMW i4 is equipped as standard with rear air suspension.
• Extensive selection of assistance systems for safe and comfortable driving and parking. Standard equipment includes Speed Limit Info, front collision warning, Parking Assistant, Reversing Assist Camera and the Reversing Assistant. Driving Assistant Professional with Steering and Lane Control Assistant and Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function, plus Parking Assistant Plus available as options.
• Standard equipment for the new BMW i4 and new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé includes BMW iDrive with QuickSelect based on BMW Operating System 8.5. How creating things together benefits everyone

The 2022 BMW Coachella campaign features original content with exclusive behind-the-scenes looks at Doja Cat's Road to Coachella and her rehearsals. The custom BMW iX car wrap inspired by her Grammy-nominated album Planet Her is one of the highlights. For this unique work of art, Doja Cat teamed up with one of the world's most renowned photographers, David LaChapelle, and creative director Brett Alan Nelson. Creative collaboration with other designers is also the approach of the twenty other BMW ambassadors, including 13-time X Games gold medalist and Olympic skateboarding star Nyjah Huston, the German actor, LGBTI activist and best-selling author Riccardo Simonetti and the respected US fashion designer Tremaine Emory.

Ljubljana, marec 2022. BMW Group vztrajno uresničuje napovedi o številu električnih in elektrificiranih vozil, ki bodo v prihodnjih letih zapeljali na svetovne ceste. V sredo, 30. 3., je potekala predstavitev BMW i4 M50 in BMW i4 eDrive40 – športnikov za vsakodnevno uporabo, in popolnoma novega električnega skuterja BMW CE 04, katerega deli nosijo tudi slovenski podpis korporacije Hidria. Ker podjetje BMW Slovenija verjame v moč dejanj, ne le moč besed, so predstavili tudi projekt Empathy – predelan motocikel R18 z namenom.

BMW i4 je prvo električno vozilo blagovne znamke, ki je osredotočeno samo na vozno dinamiko.

Povsem električna mobilnost je dosegla jedro blagovne znamke BMW. BMW i4 združuje športno zmogljivost in vožnjo na dolge razdalje: učinkovita tehnologija pogonskega sistema in inteligentna lahka zasnova zagotavljata vozno dinamiko, ki prikliče nasmeh na usta, in velik doseg brez potrebe po nesorazmerno velikih in težkih baterijah. Novinec v BMW floti temelji na fleksibilni arhitekturi vozila, ki je bila že od začetka zasnovana za popolnoma električni pogonski sistem. Ponaša se z dolgo medosno razdaljo in širokimi kolesnicami. Novi BMW CE 04 je tiha revolucija: novo poglavje za dvokolesno mobilnost v mestih na električni pogon.

Prihodnost električnih in elektrificiranih vozil prav tako napoveduje novi električni skuter BMW CE 04. Samo Trpin, direktor BMW Motorrad Slovenia, je povedal, da je BMW CE 04 namenjen urbani mobilnosti in je tako idealen za vsakodnevne vožnje brez emisij. Spremembe na področju vozniški dovoljenj bodo omogočile vožnjo z BMW CE 04 širšemu krogu navdušencev užitka na dveh kolesih in s tem pripomogle k pospeševanju elektromobilnosti. Z novim BMW CE 04 BMW Motorrad še naprej dosledno sledi svoji strategiji elektromobilnosti za mestna središča ali urbane aglomeracije, z njim namreč odpira povsem novo poglavje za dvokolesno mobilnost v mestih. S svojim električnim pogonom, napredno obliko in inovativnimi rešitvami povezljivosti novi skuter združuje transportne in komunikacijske funkcije za novo obliko mobilnosti v mestnem okolju.

Dr. Iztok Seljak, glavni direktor Hidrie Holding d.o.o., ki izdeluje okvirje za CE 04, je na predstavitvi izpostavil: »V Hidrii smo že pred leti vedeli, da bo naš hiter razvoj in tehnološki preboj temeljil na trajnostnem poslovanju in usmerjenostjo v prihodnost. Zato smo si že ob vstopu na avtomobilski trg leta 2005 zastavili cilj radikalnega zmanjševanja emisij in vzpostavljanje trajnostne mobilnosti prihodnosti.«

Sodelovanje med BMW in Hidrio poteka že več kot 25 let; tehnološka dovršenost, ki jo nudi Hidria, je ključna za športno dinamiko in luksuz, katera predstavljata dušo BMW vozil. Simon Malovec, direktor Hidria Mototec: »Projekt CE 04 je za Hidrio izrednega pomena, saj je naša korporacija v fazo razvoja vstopila že z izdelavo prototipa in soustvarjanjem končnega produkta z ekipo BMW, kar kaže na izredno zaupanje in pomembno partnerstvo.«

Športnika za vsakodnevno uporabo.

V nadaljevanju predstavitve so se imeli udeleženci dogodka priložnost usesti za volan BMW i4 M50 in BMW i4 eDrive40 in izkusiti združitev športnih zmogljivosti z udobjem, vrednim vsakodnevne uporabe. Pot jih je vodila na Gorenjsko, doživeli so luksuz, primeren za daljšo vožnjo po avtocestah, vozno dinamiko, katere je BMW i4 zmožen na regionalnih cestah, za konec pa se je pred njimi odprlo vznožje Kamniško Savinjskih Alp in jim ponudilo serpentinaste ceste, kjer s svojimi športnimi zmogljivostmi i4 blesti.

BMW Motorrad s prvim motociklom - Empathy, izdelanim po meri za dobrodelni namen.

BMW Group s številnimi iniciativami uresničuje zavezo k soustvarjanju (boljše) družbe. V Sloveniji se podjetje zavezi tokrat pridružuje s projektom Empathy. Slednjega predstavlja po meri (»custom«) izdelan motocikel BMW R18, ki bo s potovanjem po Sloveniji spodbujal empatijo do sočloveka, s prodajo izdelkov istoimenske kolekcije pa se bo zbiralo finančna sredstva za dobrodelni namen. Sredstva bodo namenjena občasni sodelavki BMW Motorrad in ljubiteljici znamke BMW Lani Nini Markelj, ki je v kolesarski nesreči utrpela hude telesne poškodbe. Mama Lane, Jožica Markelj: »Hvala lepa vsem, ki pomagate, trenutek, ko vam bo to lahko povedala tudi Lana sama, pa bo neprecenljiv.« Izkupiček od prodaje izdelkov bo preko neprofitnega društva Never Give Up namenjen za rehabilitacijo in prilagoditev življenjskih pogojev za prejemnico donacije. Motocikel BMW R18 je prvi tovrsten motocikel znamke BMW, predelan v Sloveniji. V sodelovanju s podjetjem Dreamachine in svetovno priznanim podjetjem Akrapovič je BMW R18 dobil nov izgled z nekaterimi unikatnimi komponentami. Tomaž Capuder iz Dreamachine je na predstavitvi povedal slednje: »Ko smo slišali Lanino zgodbo, smo k projektu nemudoma srčno pristopili in rezultati to tudi potrjujejo. Motocikel smo popolnoma predelali in bodočemu lastniku želimo obilico užitkov ob vožnji.«

Prvi BMW i4 v zgodovini

• Povsem električna mobilnost je dosegla jedro blagovne znamke BMW. BMW i4 je prvo električno vozilo blagovne znamke, ki je osredotočeno samo na vozno dinamiko. Užitek v vožnji brez lokalnih emisij, brezkompromisna vrhunska kakovost in individualizacija, osredotočena na kupca, prvič prihaja v tradicionalno jedro segmenta srednje velikih vozil. BMW i4 združuje legendarno vrhunsko zmogljivost in doseg, medtem ko eleganca, prostornost in praktičnost Gran Coupé-ja s štirimi bočnimi vrati prepričajo na daljših poteh.
• Vozilo bo na nekatere trge prišlo novembra 2021 (v Sloveniji bo na voljo od marca 2022) v dveh različicah: BMW i4 M50 (kombinirana poraba električne energije: 22,5–18,0 kWh/100 km v skladu s preizkusnim postopkom WLTP; 0 g/km emisij CO2) – prvi povsem električni visokozmogljivi avtomobil družbe BMW M GmbH s 400 kW/544 KM, štirikolesnim pogonom in dosegom do 521 kilometrov v skladu s preizkusnim postopkom WLTP; BMW i4 eDrive40 (kombinirana poraba električne energije: 19,1–16,1 kWh/100 km v skladu s preizkusnim postopkom WLTP; 0 g/km emisij CO2) z 250 kW/340 KM, klasičnim pogonom na zadnji kolesi in dosegom do 590 kilometrov v skladu s preizkusnim postopkom WLTP. Cena BMW i4 eDrive40 je na slovenskem trgu od 54.300 €, BMW i4 M50 pa od 67.500 €.
• Integrirana uporaba vseh komponent pogonskega sklopa in podvozja, ki temelji na desetletjih strokovnega znanja uveljavljenega proizvajalca vrhunskih športnih avtomobilov, zagotavlja skladnost zasnove, ki je konkurenti ne morejo doseči. Že poznane dinamične vozne zmogljivosti BMW avtomobilov krepko presegajo hitro pospeševanje v ravni črti in so združene s subtilnim udobjem za dolga potovanja.
• Posebna BMW rešitev, ki združuje prej nezdružljivi športno zmogljivost in vožnjo na dolge razdalje: učinkovita tehnologija pogonskega sistema in inteligentna lahka zasnova zagotavljata vozno dinamiko, ki prikliče nasmeh na usta, in velik doseg brez potrebe po nesorazmerno velikih in težkih baterijah.
• BMW i4 temelji na fleksibilni arhitekturi vozila, ki je bila že od začetka zasnovana samo za popolnoma električni pogonski sistem. Ponaša se z dolgo medosno razdaljo in širokimi kolesnicami. Struktura karoserije je še vedno izredno toga, a pri minimalni teži. Torzijski oporniki, specifični za model, aluminijasta plošča in podokvir sprednje preme so vpeti z ohišjem visokonapetostne baterije. Optimizirana aerodinamika s C_d 0,24.
• Novozasnovana tehnologija podvozja, natančno usklajena s konceptom vozila, uporablja sprednjo premo z vzmetnimi nogami z dvojnim zgibom in petčlensko zadnjo premo. Blažilniki s posebno nastavitvijo delovanja in zračno vzmetenje na zadnji premi so del standardne opreme. Omejitev zdrsa koles v neposredni bližini aktuatorja (prvič v kombinaciji z električnim štirikolesnim pogonom) zagotavlja vrhunski oprijem in smerno stabilnost pri izredno dinamični vožnji. BMW i4 M50 je prav tako opremljen s prilagodljivim M podvozjem, spremenljivim športnim krmiljenjem, M športnim zavornim sistemom in opcijskimi M platišči iz lahke zlitine (do 20-palčna).
• Tehnologija BMW eDrive pete generacije vključuje tesno povezan sklop, ki ga sestavljajo elektromotor, močnostna elektronika in menjalnik, vključno z najnovejšo tehnologijo baterijskih celic. Električni motorji delujejo po principu sinhrone enote z vzbujalnim tokom. Gostota moči do 2,14 kW/kg; takojšni razvoj moči, vzdrževane prek širokega območja vrtljajev.
• BMW i4 M50 s funkcijo Sport Boost za ultradinamični razvoj moči iz dveh električnih motorjev z največjo izhodno močjo in maksimalnim sistemskim navorom 795 Nm. Pospeševanje od 0 do 100 km/h v 3,9 sekunde. BMW i4 eDrive40 pa se ponaša z maksimalnim sistemskim navorom 430 Nm in pospeševanjem od 0 do 100 km/h v 5,7 sekunde.
• Zvok pogona, specifičen za model, zagotavlja verodostojne povratne informacije glede gibanja pedala za plin in hitrosti. BMW i4 M50 se ponaša z izredno energičnim zvokom. Opcijski BMW IconicSounds Electric omogoča integracijo novih različic zvokov, ki so nastale v sodelovanju s skladateljem filmske glasbe Hansom Zimmerjem.
• Vitka visokonapetostna baterija, zasnovana posebej za BMW i4, je nameščena nizko v podu vozila z izredno nizko višino celice, tj. 110 milimetrov. Težišče je do 53 milimetrov nižje kot pri BMW serije 3 Limuzina. Bruto energijska vsebnost: 83,9 kWh.
• Prilagodljiva ali individualno nastavljiva rekuperacija zavorne energije povečuje učinkovitost ter omogoča občutek vožnje z enim pedalom in uporabo funkcije jadranja glede na trenutne razmere v prometu.
• Integriran sistem ogrevanja in hlajenja s funkcijo toplotne črpalke za notranjost, visokonapetostno baterijo in pogonskim sistemom. Upravljanje toplote s predvidevanjem za visokonapetostno baterijo optimizira učinkovitost polnjenja.
• Kombinirana polnilna enota omogoča polnjenje na polnilnih postajah DC s hitrim polnjenjem do 205 kW. Doseg se lahko poveča za kar 164 kilometrov (BMW i4 eDrive40) in 140 kilometrov (BMW i4 M50) z 10-minutnim polnjenjem na tovrstnih polnilnih postajah. Storitev polnjenja BMW Charging zagotavlja posebej ugodne cene polnjenja na javnih polnilnih postajah in visokozmogljivih polnilnih postajah IONITY.
• BMW i4 je nov sinonim za trajnostno športno zmogljivost, udobje in vsakodnevno uporabnost v segmentu srednje velikih prestižnih avtomobilov. Koncept vozila Gran Coupé združuje udobje limuzine s sodobno funkcionalnostjo. Elegantna športna zasnova s proporci raztegnjenega kupeja, poševna strešna linija, štiri bočna vrata z okni brez okvirjev in velika vrata prtljažnika.
• Skoraj popolnoma zaprt sprednji del in čudovita ledvička BMW z diskretno vgrajeno kamero, ultrazvočnimi in radarskimi senzorji. Vitka žarometa, opcijsko s funkcijo BMW Laserlight. Barvni poudarki v BMW i Blue. BMW i4 eDrive40 v specifikaciji M Sport in BMW i4 M50 s posebnimi zmogljivostnimi iztočnicami. Paket zunanje opreme M Carbon in dodatki iz programa BMW M Performance Parts bodo na voljo od začetka prodaje.
• Luksuzni ambient in večnamenska notranjost. Akustična zasteklitev, predhodno ogrevanje in predhodno temperiranje, športni sedeži in športni volan so del standardne opreme. • Širok nabor možnosti osebnih prilagoditev, kot je to običajno pri prestižnih modelih. Užitek in udobje med vožnjo dodatno bogatijo možnosti, kot so ogrevanje in zračenje sedežev, oblazinjenje iz usnja Vernasca in različice oblazinjenja iz usnja BMW Individual, instrumentna plošča s prevleko Sensatec ali usnjenimi prevlekami, paket M Sport Pro, ambientalna razsvetljava, sistem za prostorski zvok Harman Kardon in velika steklena drsna/dvižna sončna streha.
• Premiera nove generacije nadzornega/upravljalnega sistema BMW iDrive. • Samodejna klimatska naprava z novim upravljanjem prek zaslona na dotik in vgrajenim filtrom iz nanovlaken. Inteligentni nadzor temperature s pretokom zraka ter ogrevanjem sedežev in volana.
• Nadgradnja programske opreme na daljavo zagotavlja, da je programska oprema vedno posodobljena. Navigacija s sistemom v oblaku BMW Maps. Načrtovanje poti s postanki med vožnjo za polnjenje vozil s pomočjo storitve BMW Charging. Obsežna integracija pametnih telefonov, vključno z uporabo aplikacij Apple CarPlay in Android Auto. Prilagajanje osebnih nastavitev s pomočjo BMW ID in aplikacije My BMW. Hiter prenos podatkov prek mobilnega omrežja 5G.
• Na voljo je okoli 40 funkcij za pomoč pri vožnji. Opozorilo pred čelnim trkom, informacije o omejitvi hitrosti in opozorilo za zapustitev voznega pasu so del standardne opreme. Opcijsko je na voljo aktivni tempomat s samodejnim sistemom za omejevanje hitrosti Speed Limit Assist, funkcijo nadzora poti in (v Nemčiji) odzivanjem na semaforje. Na voljo je tudi: funkcija Driving Assistant Professional, vključno z asistentom za krmiljenje in ohranjanje voznega pasu.
• Nadzor razdalje pri parkiranju in kamera za pomoč pri vzvratni vožnji sta del standardne opreme. Opcijsko je na voljo parkirni asistent z dodatnim asistentom za vzvratno vožnjo. Parking Assistant Plus s funkcijo Surround View.
• Jasno prizadevanje za trajnostno poslovanje v okviru odgovorne uporabe virov prek celotne vrednostne verige in maksimalno zmanjšanje ogljičnega odtisa skozi celotno življenjsko dobo izdelka. Proizvodnja vozil v tovarni BMW Group v Münchnu; baterijske celice so proizvedene s stoodstotno zeleno energijo.
• Obsežna uporaba sekundarnih surovin, naravnih in recikliranih materialov. Poseben način zasnove elektromotorjev omogoča opustitev uporabe redkozemeljskih materialov. Nadzorovano, pregledno in trajnostno pridobivanje kobalta in litija za visokonapetostne baterije.

Munich. Na današnji letni konferenci BMW Group je bil razkrit prihajajoči BMW i4. »BMW i4 je s svojim športnim videzom, najboljšo vozno dinamiko v svojem segmentu in brez lokalnih emisij pravi BMW. Z njim odslej srce znamke BMW bije povsem električno,« je povedal Pieter Nota, član upravnega odbora BMW AG, odgovoren za stranke, blagovne znamke in prodajo.

BMW i4 je popolnoma električni 4-vratni Gran Coupé in bo na trg vstopil v letu 2021, vključno z modelom BMW M Performance. Njegovo izpopolnjeno ravnovesje za BMW tipične športnosti, udobja in trajnostnih zmogljivosti je edinstveno v tem segmentu. 

Model BMW i4 bo na voljo v različnih modelnih različicah, ki zajemajo dosege do 590 km (WLTP)*. Z izhodno močjo do 390kW/530KM lahko BMW i4 pospeši od 0 do 100 km/h v približno 4 sekundah.
