Munich. BMW M GmbH once again achieved outstanding sales growth in 2025. For no less than the 14th time in a row, the manufacturer of high-performance and performance vehicles reported record sales. And for the 7th time running, BMW M GmbH vehicles outsold their competitors by a considerable margin. A sales total of 213,457 vehicles surpassed the previous year’s excellent result (206,582 vehicles) by three per cent. Both the high-performance and performance models set new benchmarks. Keys to success in all markets are a state-of-the-art model range spanning many vehicle classes and an extensive portfolio of powertrain options. In 2025, nearly every tenth BMW sold was a BMW M model. This share of 9.8 per cent represents another milestone.

“Our 14th consecutive sales record validates our strategy. We will continue to offer performance and high-performance vehicles across the entire BMW model range. With fully electric, partly electric and all-ICE powertrains,” says Franciscus van Meel, CEO of BMW M GmbH.

High-performance executive models drive growth.
The high-performance models from BMW M GmbH combine racetrack capabilities with unrestricted everyday usability. BMW M5 models became key growth drivers in 2025. The BMW M5 Sedan (energy consumption, weighted, combined: 17.6–17.2 kWh/100 km and 5.0–4.8 l/100 km (WLTP); CO₂ emissions, weighted, combined: 114–108 g/km (WLTP); CO₂ classes: with discharged battery G, weighted, combined C; fuel consumption with discharged battery: 10.7–10.5 l/100 km (WLTP))*^,1 and the BMW M5 Touring (energy consumption, weighted, combined: 18.1–17.6 kWh/100 km and 5.3–5.0 l/100 km (WLTP); CO₂ emissions, weighted, combined: 119–114 g/km (WLTP); CO₂ classes: with discharged battery G, weighted, combined D–C; fuel consumption with discharged battery: 10.9–10.7 l/100 km (WLTP))*^,1 saw enormous sales increases in their first full year on the markets, making them key contributors to the success of BMW M GmbH. Both vehicles offer a model-specific version of the M HYBRID system with a peak output of 535 kW/727 hp and a maximum system torque of 1,000 Nm. A high-revving V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor combine with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission to provide power to the M xDrive all-wheel drive system. The great appeal of the BMW M5 Touring was underscored by a “Golden Steering Wheel” award. This accolade is awarded by “Auto Bild” and “Bild am Sonntag”, both published by the German Axel Springer SE publishing house. The high-performance model achieved the highest points score of all finalists in the competition. Moreover, the distinguished jury rated the BMW M5 Touring ahead of the other class finalists in all driving disciplines, as well as in terms of efficiency and value for money.

The BMW M2 Coupé (fuel consumption, combined: 10.2–9.7 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions, combined: 230–221 g/km (WLTP), CO₂ class: G)* was the best-selling high-performance vehicle of 2025. This model is also available with a manual transmission (fuel consumption, combined: 10.2–9.7 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions, combined: 230–221 g/km (WLTP), CO₂ class: G)* and as an even more track-focused BMW M2 CS special model (fuel consumption, combined: 10.0 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions, combined: 226 g/km (WLTP), CO₂ class: G)*. This delivers 390 kW/530 hp of power and recently set a new record time of 7:25.5 minutes on the Nürburgring.

Favourite among performance enthusiasts: the BMW M3 family.
The BMW M3 models are another family of high-performance best-sellers. The series impresses with perfectly tailored model variants and includes sedans with various output levels. The BMW M3 entry-level model is a particularly purist vehicle that comes with a six-speed manual transmission and 353 kW/480 hp of power (fuel consumption, combined: 10.1 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions, combined: 230–229 g/km (WLTP), CO₂ class: G)*. Then there are the extremely popular Touring variants. 2025 also saw the launch of the BMW M3 CS Touring (fuel consumption, combined: 10.5 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions, combined: 238 g/km (WLTP), CO₂ class: G)*, the most sporting exemplar with 405 kW/551 hp. The large number of BMW M3 family sales is a clear sign of the model series’ continued allure and represents a major contribution to the new record of almost 71,500 high-performance vehicles sold.

M Performance model is BMW M GmbH best-seller.
A particularly popular model and also the best-selling BMW M GmbH vehicle of 2025 was the BMW X3 M50 (fuel consumption, combined: 8.3 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions, combined: 189 g/km (WLTP); CO₂ class: G)*. The top athlete in the premium mid-size SAV segment offers unique performance capabilities and a charismatic appearance. The M TwinPower Turbo engine, combined with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, delivers a maximum system output of 293 kW/398 hp. The power of the BMW X3 M50 is complemented by specific chassis technology and signature M design elements. With these attributes, it overtook the BMW i4 and its M60 Gran Coupé xDrive variant (energy consumption, combined (WLTP): 20.9 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions, combined (WLTP): 0 g/km, CO₂ class: A)*, which delivers an output of 442 kW/601 hp and a range of up to 551 km. The electric BMW i4 range-topper was the best-selling BMW M GmbH model from 2022 to 2024. 

In 2025, nearly every tenth BMW sold was a BMW M model, and the sales share of 9.8 per cent (9.4 per cent in the year prior) represents another new record. BMW M vehicles are especially popular in Switzerland, where nearly every fourth BMW ordered is a BMW M model. 

Exceptional sales total, top spots in the individual markets.
In the key markets, BMW M GmbH vehicles led the field, beating their competitors by a considerable margin. The models were particularly coveted in the U.S., the largest single market at over 72,000 units sold. But BMW M models also achieved top positions in markets such as Canada, Germany, Korea, South Africa and the United Kingdom. In China, BMW M GmbH achieved its largest absolute sales increase.

Focused model strategy to secure and expand top position.
The state-of-the-art model portfolio with its comprehensive range of ICE, plug-in hybrid and all-electric vehicles is at the heart of BMW M GmbH success. The development of models based on the Neue Klasse will provide further momentum. “Our strategy of being open towards new technologies once again paid off in 2025. BMW M GmbH stands for optimal performance, independently of the powertrain type. In all markets and across all vehicle classes. Motorsport remains a key pillar at BMW M GmbH.
The BMW M Motorsport race cars – the BMW M Hybrid V8, the BMW M4 GT3 EVO and the BMW M4 GT4 EVO – achieved a total of more than 180 victories in 2025. In works motorsport, the BMW M Hybrid V8 delivered a competitive performance in the first half of the FIA WEC season and the BMW M GmbH marks 14th consecutive record year. The best result of a season marked by highs and lows was the 1-2 finish at Road America. The BMW M4 GT3 EVO had a tremendous season. While the 1-2 victory at the Bathurst 12 Hour race in Australia was still won by the predecessor model, the EVO version seamlessly continued the series with top results. Triumphs at the Nürburgring 24 Hours (Germany), the Suzuka 1000 (Japan), the Indianapolis 8 Hour race and in the GTD Pro Class at the 6 Hours of the Glen and the Petit Le Mans (both U.S.) are among the highlights of a season that saw over 80 victories and 100 further podium finishes.

Teams driving the BMW M4 GT4 EVO achieved over 100 victories in the 2025 season. More than any other model, the BMW M4 GT4 is associated with customer racing. The victory in the SP10 at the Nürburgring 24 Hours was a particular high point. In the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) racing series, these vehicles came out on top in nine out of ten races. Moreover, the BMW M4 GT4 EVO triumphed in all classes at the GT4 America. The strong results of the GT4 teams helped BMW M Motorsport secure the SRO manufacturers’ title in the GT4 segment. The 2026 season will see the debut of the BMW M2 Racing as a new entry-level vehicle complementing the model portfolio for customer racing.

Munich. BMW Customer Service has its customers’ backs. The new “Relax. We Care.” campaign showcases this aspect with a quirky sense of humour. It is now available to view on social media.

Anything that can go wrong will go wrong – and this is also the theme of the new short film for the annual BMW Customer Service campaign. “The Thief” is a story about a marriage proposal and a thief, with all kinds of surprising twists and turns. Larger than life, told with tongue firmly in cheek, and great attention to detail.

As in the previous films “The Park” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD9TJrcp5AM) and “The Storm” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1_Vv7Fb4Bk), the BMW as the silent protagonist suffers plenty of indignities. Scratches, dents, shattered glass and broken-off parts are the visible result of these unexpected adventures. Just as well the professionals from BMW Service and Original BMW Parts are there to repair the damage and bring the claim “Relax. We Care.” to life.

Ljubljana, 13. marec 2025. Pretekli četrtek je BMW Slovenija gostil ekskluzivno izkušnjo, ki je združila užitek v vožnji, športni adrenalin in kulinarično razvajanje. Udeleženci so imeli priložnost preizkusiti nove BMW X3 na poti do enega najprestižnejših zimskih športnih dogodkov – svetovnega pokala v biatlonu na Pokljuki.

Dogodek se je začel z registracijo in sprejemom v restavraciji DiVino v Ljubljani, kjer so goste pričakale kave in rogljički ter flota novih BMW X3. Po kratki predstavitvi so udeleženci prevzeli vozila in se podali na vožnjo proti Bohinju. Vozni park je vključeval različne izvedbe modela X3, med njimi BMW X3 xDrive20d, BMW X3 M50 xDrive in BMW X3 xDrive30e.

Bohinj je bil prva postojanka, kjer so gostje uživali v sodobnem ambientu Hotela Bohinj in zgodovinskem šarmu Vile Muhr. Ob tej priložnosti je vodja marketinga BMW Slovenija, Dražen Vranješ Kosi, dolgoletni ambasadorki BMW, Nini Grilc, simbolično predal ključe novega BMW X3 xDrive30e.

Pot se je nadaljevala proti Bledu, kjer je BMW Slovenija zagotovil ekskluziven prevoz z BMW VIP shuttli do prizorišča svetovnega pokala v biatlonu. Udeleženci so na Pokljuki uživali v kulinaričnih dobrotah, imeli ekskluziven dostop do strelišča, spremljali tekmo z VIP tribune ter se srečali z vrhunskima biatloncema Anamarijo Lampič in Jakovom Fakom, ki je kljub zahtevnim vremenskim razmeram osvojil prvo mesto in si zagotovil izjemen naslov svetovnega prvaka.

Po tekmi so se gostje ponovno usedli v BMW VIP shuttle ter se odpeljali nazaj proti Bledu, kjer so zopet prevzeli vozila BMW X3 in se podali nazaj proti Ljubljani. Mokre ceste so bile idealen poligon za preizkus xDrive sistema invoznih lastnosti modela X3, ki je dokazal svojo vsestranskost in zanesljivost tudi v zahtevnejših pogojih.

Munich. Electric drivetrain upgrades, new engine variants, as well as additional standard and optional equipment features will make the current BMW model range even more attractive and versatile in spring 2025. The use of new components for the power electronics and other measures designed to optimise efficiency have resulted in a considerably increased range for the all-electric BMW i5. Standard equipment on all BMW 5 Series models will soon include ambient lighting complete with a BMW Interaction Bar featuring a crystalline surface, lumbar support for both front seats as well as the Harman Kardon HiFi loudspeaker system. 

Two new variants of the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé will become available in April 2025. The BMW X3 model range will likewise be expanded, with a powerful six-cylinder in-line diesel engine. Almost 50 per cent higher charging rates – that’s the news for the plug-in hybrid variants of the BMW X1, BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, BMW 7 Series and the BMW XM models. With the BMW Digital Key Plus, owners can, depending on the type of mobile device, activate up to 18 digital vehicle keys with individually configured access permissions. The new tyre repair kit Plus will become part of the standard equipment for selected BMW models from March 2025. It enables owners to continue their journey even with a tyre puncture. Adaptive LED Headlights will become part of the standard equipment for the BMW X5 and BMW X6 models in spring 2025. 

BMW i5 and BMW i5 Touring now even more energy-efficient.

From March 2025 the all-electric models of the BMW 5 Series Sedan and BMW 5 Series Touring will benefit from a number of technical advances that reduce their energy consumption. The result is a noticeably greater range, with an increase of up to 47 kilometres (depending on the model and equipment installed as part of an individual vehicle configuration). This owes much to the first ever use of silicon carbide semiconductor components in the power electronics (SiC converter) of the BMW i5 and to particularly low-rolling-resistance tyres fitted to aerodynamic alloy wheels. The optimised wheel bearings will also help save power.

19" aerodynamic wheels 1056 bi-colour are available for the first time as an option for the BMW i5 eDrive40 (combined, WLTP (EnVKV): energy consumption 18.0–17.9 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; CO₂ class A) and the BMW i5 xDrive40 (combined, WLTP (EnVKV): energy consumption 18.9–18.8 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; CO₂ class A).

The optimisations for the new BMW i5 xDrive40 Touring (combined, WLTP (EnVKV): energy consumption 19.5–19.4 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; CO₂ class A) lower WLTP energy consumption by up to 9 per cent (depending on model and equipment installed as part of an individual vehicle configuration), while the new BMW i5 eDrive40 saves up to 8 per cent. 

Standard equipment on the BMW i5 M60 xDrive (combined, WLTP (EnVKV): energy consumption 19.5 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; CO₂ class A) now includes the M Sport package Pro. In addition, the BMW 5 Series models benefit from further interior upgrades. From now on, all models include the previously optional ambient lighting with the BMW Interaction Bar featuring a crystalline surface as standard. In addition, they now come with lumbar support for both front seats, as well as the Harman Kardon HiFi loudspeaker system. The switchgear in the doors has also been upgraded and is now finished in high-gloss Black. BMW Individual Merino Leather in Black/Dark Violet is available as a new option for customising the interior.

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé: Two additional powertrain variants.
The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé model range available from March 2025 will include a new entry-level variant. The new BMW 216 Gran Coupé (combined, WLTP (EnVKV): fuel consumption 6.4 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions 145 g/km; CO₂ class E) offers a particularly attractive introduction to the world of hallmark BMW driving pleasure. Its 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine has 90 kW/122 hp of power and a peak torque of 230 Nm. The standard seven-speed double-clutch Steptronic transmission directs engine power to the front wheels. Accelerating the new BMW 216 Gran Coupé from 0 to 100 km/h takes 9.9 seconds.

The new BMW 223 xDrive Gran Coupé (combined, WLTP (EnVKV): fuel consumption 6.4–6.3 litres/100 km; CO₂ emissions 144 g/km; CO₂ class E) adds an all-wheel drive variant with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology to the range. Its four-cylinder petrol engine and integrated electric motor deliver a total system output of 160 kW/218 hp. This powertrain adds to the car’s efficiency and is capable of particularly fast responses. The new BMW 223 xDrive Gran Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. Production of the two new
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé models will start in March 2025 at the BMW Group plant in Leipzig, Germany. The BMW kidney Iconic Glow is available as part of the Innovation package and enables a purposeful customisation of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé’s exterior. It provides unique visuals, especially after dark. This option can also be ordered for the BMW 1 Series.

BMW X3 40d xDrive: Especially powerful six-cylinder diesel.
A 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line diesel from the latest BMW Group engine generation will complement the BMW X3 powertrain range from May 2025. It will make the new BMW X3 40d xDrive (combined, WLTP (EnVKV): fuel consumption 6.7 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions 177 g/km; CO₂ class G) the most powerful diesel variant of this premium executive Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). Its highly efficient powertrain offers 48-volt mild-hybrid technology, a combined output of 223 kW/303 hp and 670 Nm of peak torque. The system’s electric motor is integrated into the eight‑speed Steptronic transmission. The new BMW X3 40d xDrive takes 5.4 seconds to get to 100 km/h from a standing start; its top speed is 245 km/h. It is produced at the BMW Group Plant Rosslyn in South Africa.

Higher charging rates for everyday driving without generating local emissions.
A faster AC charging rate, increased from 7.4 kW to 11 kW, will result in significantly reduced charging times for various BMW plug-in hybrid models from March 2025. This will benefit the plug-in hybrid variants of the BMW X1, BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, BMW 7 Series and all BMW XM models.

BMW Digital Key Plus as standard in the new BMW iX.

In the new BMW iX, the BMW Digital Key Plus will become the driver’s first choice for vehicle access from March 2025. The package also includes a physical key, a Setup Card and a Service Card. The new Setup Card makes installing the Digital Key Plus on a smartphone easier than ever. Users can simply hold the card close to their mobile device or scan the QR code on the back. Once activated, drivers can safely share the Digital Key Plus with others, using a simple text message. Depending on the mobile device, up to 18 digital keys can be activated soon. Different roles and permissions can be set for the vehicle when sharing the keys. For example, the vehicle’s acceleration and top speed can be limited – a particularly useful feature for novice drivers. Moreover, the BMW Digital Key Plus enables additional control functions from the vehicle’s vicinity, such as having the BMW iX enter or exit a parking space via the My BMW app. And if there ever is a need to hand over a physical key, for example for service visits or in the event of a breakdown, the new Service Card can be activated as a full-fledged key with a single click.

Other digital improvements and enhancements.
The popular YouTube* video app has been available for vehicles with BMW Operating System 9 since January 2025, provided the customer has activated BMW Digital Premium. Furthermore, the Personal eSIM in BMW Operating System 9 can now be activated for improved telephony and a WiFi hotspot in the vehicle. Vehicles with BMW Operating System 8.5 benefit from a more intuitive BMW Maps interface.

Tyre repair kit Plus: Remaining mobile the easy way.

The new tyre repair kit Plus, part of the standard equipment for selected BMW models from March 2025, enables customers to continue their journey even with a tyre puncture. This requires just a few simple steps that are explained in the vehicle’s Integrated Owner’s Handbook. The one-piece tyre repair kit includes a magnet and connector pin to secure it to the hub of the affected wheel. A hose then fills the tyre with air and aerosol sealant using an integrated compressor. Once a sufficient tyre pressure above 1.5 bar has been achieved, the journey can be continued, with the device safely attached to the wheel hub. Drivers can now

cover a range of up to 200 kilometres at a top speed of 80 km/h. This should easily get them to the nearest service centre. From spring 2025 the BMW X1, BMW X2, BMW iX and various models of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer will come with this equipment feature. The tyre repair kit Plus is also included with the models of the BMW 5 Series Sedan (except for the BMW 5 Series Sedan with all-electric or plug-in hybrid drive and standard 19-inch light alloy wheels Triplex-spoke style 933 Silver).

BMW X5, BMW X6, BMW X7 and BMW M5: Added equipment.
The comprehensive standard equipment on the BMW X5 and BMW X6 will from spring 2025 include adaptive matrix LED headlights. The BMW X7 will always come with the Parking Assistant Professional. Standard equipment for the M60i xDrive powertrain version of all three model series will also include the M Sport package Pro, the Harman Kardon surround sound system and sun protection glazing.

The BMW M5 will also benefit from more comprehensive equipment. Two new upholstery options are available to add special accents to the interior. In addition to BMW Individual Taupe Grey/Deep Lagoon Merino Leather, BMW Individual Black/Dark Violet Merino Leather is available as a new colourway. In all BMW M5 variants, as well as in all BMW 5 Series Sedan and BMW 5 Series Touring models, the trim and switches for the power windows, mirror adjustment and tailgate button are finished in high-gloss Black with a 3D effect as standard.

New light alloy wheels for BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and BMW X1.

17-inch light alloy wheels Star-spoke style 875 will be available for various BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and BMW X1 models from March 2025.

Munich. The new BMW X3 is sportier and more versatile than ever as an all-rounder for everyday use, leisure and travel. In its fourth model generation, a new design language gives it a significantly enhanced presence. The M Sport Package and the M Sport Package Pro are available ex works for an even more elegant and sporty appearance. In addition, the distinctive profile of the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) can be further customised with the BMW M Performance Parts, which will be available for the new BMW X3.

The model-specific retrofit products for the new BMW X3 are manufactured in a complex process from carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), high-strength aramid or high-gloss polyurethane and are perfectly matched to one another. All add-on parts from the original BMW accessories range perfectly match the geometry and monolithic appearance of the new BMW X3.

Confident appearance and optimised aerodynamic properties: M Performance front splitter.

The exterior components, which are precisely tailored to the new BMW X3, not only set individual accents of elegant sportiness, but also fulfil functional requirements in terms of lightweight construction and aerodynamics. In the fourth model generation, an M Performance front splitter is now available for the first time for the SAV. It complements the exterior features of the M Sport Package and emphasises the striking lines of the front apron. Finished in high-gloss black, the three-part front splitter gives the SAV a decidedly distinctive appearance, especially when combined with the M Performance front ornamental grille painted in the same colour.

The exclusive M Performance side decals in Frozen Black also emphasise the sporty character of the new BMW X3 from the side. The light-, weather- and wash-resistant decal set is perfectly adapted to the vehicle's geometry and makes a clear reference to motorsport. The M Performance Carbon fuel filler cap with M Performance lettering on brushed aluminium makes an unmistakable statement at the fuel station.

The striking M Carbon exterior mirror caps and the M Performance aerial cover in aramid are further accents that lend the profile of the new BMW X3 an individual and sporty touch. The aramid-reinforced plastic is very similar to carbon fibre, but offers greater electromagnetic permeability, ensuring unrestricted reception when making calls and using the many digital services available.

The M Performance rear diffuser is also made from this high-tech material. It gives an even more striking appearance to the rear of the car, which is already characterised by its generous surfaces, and, in conjunction with the Comfort Access system, allows the luggage compartment lid to be opened and closed without the need for physical contact. An optional M Performance rear diffuser in high-gloss black polyurethane is also available for the new BMW X3. Both versions of the rear diffuser are combined with the M Performance rear bumper trim in high-gloss black.

The M Performance roof edge spoiler is also made of polyurethane and is finished in high-gloss black. Perfectly tailored to the design of the vehicle, it not only optimises the aerodynamic properties of the new BMW X3, but also adds a particularly dynamic touch to the rear of the vehicle. If desired, it can be painted in the colour of the vehicle.

The M Performance Carbon tailpipe trims integrated into the rear apron, which are available exclusively for the M Performance model BMW X3 M50 xDrive, give the SAV an especially powerful look (fuel consumption combined: 8.3 – 7.7 l/100 km (62 miles); CO₂ emissions combined: 189 – 175 g/km according to WLTP; CO₂ class(es) G-F). They were specially designed for the two pairs of tailpipes, which unmistakably identify the new BMW X3 M50 xDrive as the most powerful model in the series and bear an embossed M logo. Their CFRP coating, stainless steel inner tailpipes and thermal decoupling of the tailpipe are a testament to the highest quality standards.

The M model badge "X3" in high-gloss black on the rear of the new BMW X3 also sets an exclusive visual accent. The M model badge "M50" is also available in a high-gloss black finish for the M Performance model.

Up to 22-inch light alloy wheels are available for an even more exclusive look.

A further highlight in the range of accessories for the new BMW X3 are the weight-optimised 22-inch M Performance light-alloy wheels. The complete summer wheel set is available exclusively in Bicolour Jetblack matt finish. The Y-spoke light alloy wheels feature polished elements on the outer rim and centre for a particularly exclusive look.

In addition, 20-inch M Performance Y-spoke wheels in Jet Black Matt are available as both a summer and winter complete wheel set. Additional wheel sets are ideally stowed in the M Performance tyre bags. Reinforced bag handles make it easy to transport the wheels.

As soon as the doors are opened, the M Performance Carbon door sills unmistakably signal the new BMW X3's dynamic orientation. With their distinctive M Performance lettering, they are an individual eye-catcher. Alternatively, M aluminium door sill trims are also available for the new edition of the SAV.

Authentic motorsport flair can also be found in the footwell of the new BMW X3 with the stainless steel M Performance pedal cover. The M Performance floor mats are the ideal complement. The four-piece set features embroidered M Performance lettering, leather-look edging, contrasting stitching and a stitched-in ribbon in BMW M colours. The M Performance locking button in black anodised aluminium with a coloured M logo ensures a harmonious style in the interior down to the last detail.

The M Performance key case, with its mix of Alcantara and carbon-look leather, also conveys a subtle hint of performance passion outside the vehicle. The custom-fit case protects the car key from scratches and has convenient cut-outs for all the function buttons.

• Nova izdaja BMW X3 jasno cilja na nadaljevanje edinstvene zgodbe o uspehu tega vozila – od prvega športnega terenskega vozila v svojem razredu do statusa trenutnega vodilnega na svetovnem trgu v svojem segmentu in najbolje prodajanega modela blagovne znamke. Proizvodnja v tovarnah BMW Group v Spartanburgu (ZDA) in Rosslynu (Južna Afrika). V ZDA in Evropi naj bi se začel prodajati v četrtem četrtletju leta 2024, na številnih drugih trgih pa od januarja leta 2025. ZDA in Nemčija sta najpomembnejša prodajna trga. Zelo priljubljen je tudi v Italiji, Španiji, na Japonskem, v Južni Koreji, Južni Afriki, Kanadi, Mehiki in drugih državah Latinske Amerike.
• Sistematično zmanjšanje ogljičnega odtisa novega BMW X3 zahvaljujoč trajnostni strategiji, ki zajema tudi dobavno verigo, učinkovito izbiro surovin, visok delež sekundarnih surovin in uporabo zelene električne energije v proizvodnji. Inteligentna lahka konstrukcija, optimizirane aerodinamične lastnosti s količnikom zračnega upora, zmanjšanim na samo 0,27, prilagodljivo rekuperacijo in drugimi ukrepi BMW Efficient Dynamics. Vsesplošna elektrifikacija z 48-voltno blago hibridno tehnologijo za vse motorje z notranjim zgorevanjem. Priključno-hibridna različica novega BMW X3, ki se ponaša z večjo močjo in opaznim povečanjem električnega dosega, bo prvič izdelana v tovarni BMW Group v Rosslynu.
• Nov, sodoben oblikovalski jezik za zunanjost združuje znana sorazmerja modelov BMW X z obsežnimi, jasno strukturiranimi površinami, kar povzroči monolitni videz. Skrbno osredotočeno oblikovanje daje vozilu elegantno, a hkrati dinamično avro. Zunanjost je za 34 milimetrov daljša od predhodnika in meri 4.755 milimetrov, medtem ko se je širina povečala za 29 milimetrov na 1.920 milimetrov. Višina vozila je bila znižana za 25 milimetrov na 1.660 milimetrov. Medosna razdalja ostaja skoraj nespremenjena pri 2.865 milimetrih, medtem ko se je širina kolotečine povečala na 1.636 milimetrov spredaj (+ do 16 mm) in 1.681 milimetrov zadaj (+ do 45 mm).
• Sprednji del z veliko, razdeljeno ledvičko BMW je osupljiv. Opcijska osvetlitev obrisov BMW Iconic Glow zdaj tvori neprekinjeno linijo okoli vsakega elementa ter vključuje tudi dinamično svetlobno preprogo s projicirano animacijo dobrodošlice in slovesa na vhodnem območju vozila. • Prepoznavna silhueta s kratkimi previsi karoserije, strešno linijo, ki sega globoko v zadnji del, potopnimi kljukami na vratih, izrazito oblikovanima bočnima pragovoma in dinamično grafiko stranskih oken s standardnim dvobarvnim okvirjem. Veliki blatniki so oblikovani tako, da so nagnjeni naprej. Opustitev črnih robov za vrata in blatnike ter bočnih rež za zrak poudarja čisto, sodobno površinsko obdelavo.
• Izrazito razširjena zadnja blatnika in ostri obrisi dajejo zadnjemu delu močan videz. S karoserijo poravnano zadnje okno, dolg strešni spojler in stranska usmerjevalnika zraka lepo dopolnjujejo videz. Zadnje LED-luči so na voljo s svetlobnimi viri, razporejenimi v obliki črke T, vodoravno letvijo iz satiniranega aluminija in tridimenzionalno oblikovanimi steklenimi lečami. Podaljšan zadnji odbijač ima vgrajeno satinirano okrasno letev in zaključke izpušnih cevi zunaj vidnega polja (izjema: BMW X3 M50 xDrive).
• Široka izbira barv za zunanjost. Lakiranje BMW Individual bo kupcem na voljo od prihoda v prodajne salone (razen za BMW X3 30e xDrive). Individualne oblikovne značilnosti za novi model BMW X3 M50 xDrive M Performance: ledvička BMW z vodoravnimi prečkami, velika spodnja odprtina za zrak je 

  razdeljena na dva dela, M pokrova zunanjih ogledal, izpušni sistem z dvojnima zaključkoma izpušnih cevi na levi in desni strani. Paketa M Sport in M Sport Pro sta prav tako na voljo z značilnimi oblikovnimi elementi na zunanjosti.

• Široko odpiranje vrat prtljažnika novega BMW X3 olajša natovarjanje. Samodejno delovanje vrat prtljažnika je na voljo standardno. Prtljažnik se je v primerjavi s predhodnikom povečal po dolžini in širini. Prostornina prtljažnika se je povečala za 20 litrov na 570 litrov ali (pri

  BMW X3 30e xDrive) za 10 na 460 litrov. Z zlaganjem delov zadnjega naslonjala s standardno delitvijo v razmerju 40 : 20 : 40 se prtljažni prostor poveča na največ 1.700 litrov (BMW X3 30e xDrive: 1.600 litrov). Vlečna kljuka, ki se električno iztegne in ponovno uvleče, je na voljo opcijsko. Največja dovoljena obremenitev prikolice znaša do 2.500 kilogramov (odvisno od modela).

• Osvežena interpretacija oblikovanja notranjosti, značilne za modele BMW X. Osupljiva geometrija s homogenimi površinami in skoraj neprekinjenim oblikovanjem armaturne plošče ter obloge na vratih, ki obdaja voznika in potnike Ukrivljeni zaslon BMW z 12,3-palčno instrumentno ploščo in 14,9-palčnim nadzornim prikazovalnikom, BMW Interaction Bar, novi volani z ravnim dnom ter nova prestavna ročica. Nadzorne plošče in zračniki v sprednjem delu obloge na vratih so obrobljene s sodobnimi svetlobnimi elementi v kontrastni barvi. Držala za pijačo z na novo interpretiranim odlagalnim prostorom, vključno s funkcijo brezžičnega polnjenja v sredinski konzoli.
• Notranjost s sedežnim prevlekami iz materiala Econeer, oblazinjenja iz reciklabilne sekundarne surovine, je standardna. Opcijsko je na voljo perforirano oblazinjenje Veganza v videzu sintetičnega usnja v treh barvah; oblazinjenje BMW Individual iz usnja Merino (prav tako opcijsko) pa je na voljo v dveh barvah. Oblazinjenje v kombinaciji Veganza/Alcantara je del paketa M Sport. Opcijska armaturna plošča Luxury, ki je zdaj prvič izdelana iz recikliranega poliestra, se ponaša z

  visokokakovostno pleteno teksturo.

• Električno nastavljivi športni sedeži, ogrevanje sedežev, tripodročna avtomatska klimatska naprava, akustična zasteklitev, komfortni sistem dostopa ter ambientalna razsvetljava z animacijama dobrodošlice in slovesa so standardne možnosti opreme. Fiksna panoramska steklena streha z izjemno veliko prozorno površino brez prečnih elementov, ki bi jo prekinili, in z rolo senčnikom je na voljo kot dodatna oprema. Druge funkcije, ki so na voljo, vključujejo aktivno prezračevanje sedežev, ledveno oporo, ogrevanje volana, sistem za prostorski zvok harman/kardon, sistem Travel & Comfort, pa tudi BMW IconicSounds Electric za novi BMW X3 30e xDrive.
• Široka paleta pogonskih sklopov: novi vrstni šestvaljni bencinski motor z največjo močjo 293 kW/398 KM poganja  najzmogljivejši BMW X3 M50 xDrive. Prav tako so na voljo nadgrajeni štirivaljni bencinski in dizelski motorji, ki razvijejo 153 kW/208 KM v novem BMW X3 20 xDrive in 145 kW/197 KM v novem BMW X3 20d xDrive.
• Najnovejša tehnologija BMW eDrive je rezervirana za novi BMW X3 30e xDrive. Priključno-hibridni sistem sestavljata štirivaljni bencinski motor in elektromotor, integriran v menjalnik. Izhodna moč sistema se je povečala na 220 kW/299 KM. Nova visokonapetostna baterija ima skoraj dvakrat večjo energetsko zmogljivost. Polnjenje z izmeničnim tokom z največjo zmogljivostjo 11 kW, pametno polnjenje pa je mogoče z opcijo Connected Home Charging. Električni doseg v preskusnem ciklu WLTP se je povečal na od 81 do 90 kilometrov.
• Osemstopenjski avtomatski menjalnik Steptronic v kompletu s prestavnima vzvodoma na volanu je standardno na voljo za vse različice modelov. Funkcija Sport Boost je navzoča pri modelih s paketom M Sport in pri novem BMW X3 M50 xDrive. Inteligentni štirikolesni pogon BMW xDrive s poudarkom na zadnjem kolesnem paru, skupaj z diferencialom M Sport na zadnji premi zagotavlja brezhiben oprijem pri BMW X3 M50 xDrive.
• Obsežni ojačitveni elementi za karoserijo in dosledno nadgrajena tehnologija podvozja zagotavljajo ostrejšo dinamiko ob ohranjanju optimalnega udobja pri vožnji. Vrhunsko udobje krmiljenja, večja stabilnost ohranjanja smeri vožnje in natančnejši nadzorni sistemi v primerjavi z odhajajočim modelom. Omejitev zdrsa pogonskih koles blizu aktuatorja in integriran zavorni sistem sta standardna. Standardna specifikacija opreme vključuje 18-palčna platišča iz lahke zlitine (BMW X3 30e xDrive: 19-palčna platišča). 20-palčna lita alu. platišča (standardna pri BMW X3 M50 xDrive) in 21-palčna lita alu. platišča z različnimi velikostmi pnevmatik spredaj in zadaj so na voljo kot dodatna oprema, skupaj s športnimi pnevmatikami.
• Podvozje M Sport je standardno pri novem BMW X3 M50 xDrive, opcijsko pa je na voljo za vse druge različice modelov. Na seznamu opcij sta tudi prilagodljivo podvozje in prilagodljivo M podvozje (na voljo samo pri BMW X3 M50 xDrive) z elektronsko krmiljenimi blažilniki. Vse opcijske različice podvozja vključujejo spremenljivo športno krmiljenje. Zavore M Sport so na voljo kot dodatna oprema.
• Znatno razširjen nabor delno avtomatiziranih sistemov za vožnjo in parkiranje. Večmodalno upravljanje z nadzornim prikazovalnikom na dotik, glasovnim upravljanjem z BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, multifunkcijskimi gumbi na volanu ali upravljalnikom BMW na sredinski konzoli.
• Inovativne digitalne storitve je mogoče dodati z opcijo BMW Digital Premium iz BMW ConnectedDrive Store, vključno s pretakanjem videoposnetkov na nadzornem prikazovalniku (z velikim številom medijskih knjižnic in pretočnih storitev), številnimi aplikacijami tretjih oseb, razširjenimi funkcijami navigacijskega sistema BMW Maps ter dodatnimi načini My Modes s harmonično usklajenimi svetlobnimi učinki v notranjosti in grafiko na ukrivljenem zaslonu BMW. • Optimizirana povezljivost je zagotovljena s standardnim mobilnim sprejemom 5G. Integracija pametnih telefonov z Apple CarPlay® in Android Auto™ je prav tako del standardne opreme. Uporabniku prijazno povezavo zagotavljata BMW ID in aplikacija My BMW. BMW ID omogoča digitalno plačevanje parkirnine iz udobja vozila v izbranih državah. BMW Digital Key Plus je opremljen z ultra širokopasovno radijsko tehnologijo – za združljive pametne telefone z operacijskim sistemom iOS ali Android in Apple Watch – na voljo kot dodatna oprema.
