Motoristična sezona 2026 se je tudi letos tradicionalno začela z dogodkom BMW Motorrad Roadshow, ki je 8. aprila obiskal Slovensko Bistrico, nato pa nadaljeval 11. aprila v Motorrad salonu Avtoval. Dogodek je znova združil številne ljubitelje motociklov, dobro vzdušje ter najnovejše modele BMW Motorrad, ki narekujejo trende v svetu motociklizma.

Roadshow se je začel s sproščenim druženjem ob motorističnem zajtrku, kjer so obiskovalci lahko pobližje spoznali bogato BMW Motorrad floto ter doživeli slovenske premiere najnovejših modelov. Posebno pozornost je pritegnil BMW F 450 GS, novi član družine GS, ki je s svojo kompaktno zasnovo, vsestranskostjo in izrazitim avanturističnim značajem navdušil tako izkušene motoriste kot tudi tiste, ki iščejo vstop v svet adventure motociklov.

Aleš Suhrepec, generalni direktor BMW Slovenija, je poudaril močan odtis BMW Motorrad v Sloveniji, saj sta v letu 2025 kar dva motocikla znamke BMW zasegla vodilni mesti na trgu in sicer BMW R 1300 GS Adventure ter BMW R 1300 GS. Ob enem pa je BMW Motorrad s prodajo več kot 500 motociklov dosegel prodajni rekord. Izpostavil je, da ima BMW Slovenija visoka pričakovanja tudi za sezono 2026 in z veseljem pozdravil prihod najnovejšega člana družine GS – BMW F 450 GS.

Predstavljena je bila tudi nova generacija modelov s prostornino 1300 kubičnih centimetrov:

• BMW R 1300 R, dinamičen roadster z izrazitim karakterjem,

• BMW R 1300 RT, potovalni motocikel, ki postavlja merila udobja in tehnologije,

• BMW R 1300 RS, športno-potovalni model za dolge razdalje in dinamično vožnjo. 

Obiskovalci so imeli priložnost motocikle spoznati od blizu, se o njih pogovoriti z ekipo BMW Motorrad ter po uradni predstavitvi tudi preizkusiti izbrane modele na individualnih testnih vožnjah. Dogodek ni bil zgolj predstavitev novosti, temveč pravo moto doživetje, ki je povezalo skupnost motoristov in odprlo novo sezono v pristnem BMW Motorrad duhu.

The new BMW F 450 GS: BMW GS expertise in the 48 hp A2 class in the iconic 
BMW GS design.
The new BMW F 450 GS marks the next step in the GS model family, specifically addressing the 48 hp A2 class with proven GS technology and iconic design.

At the EICMA international motorcycle show, BMW Motorrad gave a preview of a fully-fledged GS model already in 2024, which specifically addresses the steadily growing market segment of medium-sized displacement motorcycles.

The series version of the BMW F 450 GS consistently lives up to this claim: It is a versatile all-rounder that combines everyday usability, sporty dynamic performance, touring comfort, and off-road capabilities. In the "GS Trophy" equipment variant, it follows in the footsteps of the concept vehicle. It adopts its striking design language and high-quality, high-tech components, including magnesium parts for maximum performance and low weight.

With its balanced power-to-torque ratio, low weight, and characteristic GS ergonomics, the F 450 GS provides riding fun and confidence from the first meter. The new F 450 GS thus combines the classic GS spirit with a modern, accessible, and simultaneously powerful approach.

The BMW Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) is a technical highlight and a further development of a centrifugal clutch. This system eliminates the need to manually operate the clutch lever while riding. This applies to all situations, from starting off and changing gears to demanding off-road maneuvers. BMW Motorrad is setting a new standard in this vehicle class.

A range of attractive options will be added at the time of market launch: The F 450 GS can be equipped with an Akrapovic end muffler and original BMW Motorrad cross-spoke wheels on request. The result is a package that combines sporty dynamic performance, technical innovation and GS DNA perfectly.

Performance developed from scratch: A confident companion for both road and 
off-road riding.
The completely redesigned BMW F 450 GS is a sporty adventure bike that complements the current BMW Motorrad model portfolio, with developers focusing on excellent handling characteristics, strong performance, durability, and optimum accessibility.

The design focuses on the consistent implementation of the current GS design language. With iconic features such as the LED headlight with "X" daytime riding light and the distinctive flyline, the bike's affiliation with the BMW Motorrad GS family is clear at first glance.

Completely redesigned, smooth-running and characterful two-cylinder in-line engine with 135-degree crankpin offset for dynamic riding pleasure on asphalt and off-road.
At the heart of the new BMW F 450 GS is a completely newly developed two-cylinder in-line engine with fuel injection and a stainless steel exhaust system on the right-hand side. The new F 450 GS impresses with its powerful performance and pulling power, delivering a power output of 35 kW (48 hp) at 8,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 43 Nm at 
6,750 rpm.
Thanks to the use of high-tech materials and optimized internal friction, these performance values are achieved with exactly 420 cm³. This makes the engine one of the most compact and powerful in the A2 two-cylinder segment. It not only meets the strict EU5+ requirements but is also particularly economical, consuming just 3.8 liters per 100 km. A range of over 350 km can be achieved in conjunction with the 14-liter tank. The maintenance interval is the standard 10,000 km for BMW motorcycles.

Unique on the motorcycle market, the engine features a crankshaft with crankpins offset by 135 degrees and, in conjunction with a single balance shaft, sets a technical exclamation mark: this design ensures a characterful, emotional ride while simultaneously reducing unwanted vibrations to an exceptionally low level.

Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) for a significant increase in dynamics, operating comfort, and riding comfort.
A technical highlight of the new BMW F 450 GS is the Easy Ride Clutch (ERC). Its core is a precision centrifugal unit in the clutch, which engages the clutch depending on engine speed.

This system is standard on the GS Trophy variant and available as an optional accessory for all other model variants. In combination with the Shift Assistant Pro, manual operation of the clutch lever is completely eliminated – from starting off and gear changes to demanding maneuvers.

The clutch lever, however, remains intact and allows the rider to intervene manually at any time if necessary – for example, to lift the front wheel over an obstacle or to improve control when descending on slippery surfaces.

Technologically, the ERC is based on an advanced centrifugal clutch. Unlike conventional systems, it remains closed during overrun. This creates natural, familiar, and predictable handling at all times – comparable to a conventional clutch. The engine brake remains fully active until just before a stop; only when the idle speed is reached does the ERC automatically open, reliably preventing the engine from stalling.

The system ensures greater dynamics, control, and comfort – whether maneuvering, in city traffic, on winding roads, or off-road.

Six-speed transmission and left-mounted secondary drive. Shift Assistant Pro for quick upshifts and downshifts without clutch operation.
The likewise newly designed six-speed transmission transmits torque to the left-hand secondary drive via an X-ring chain.
For fast upshifts and downshifts without clutch operation, the new F 450 GS is offered with Shift Assistant Pro in all equipment variants except the basic variant. This can be retrofitted to the basic version.

"Rain," "Road," and "Enduro" riding modes, as well as ABS Pro, DBC, DTC, and MSR (engine drag control), are standard features for a high level of riding enjoyment and safety. An additional "Enduro Pro" riding mode is available starting with the Exclusive trim variant.
The BMW F 450 GS offers three riding modes as standard: "Rain", "Road" and "Enduro", allowing the motorcycle to be adapted to suit individual preferences. Standard equipment also includes ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and engine drag torque control (MSR).

The additional “Enduro Pro” mode, which is used from the Exclusive equipment variant onwards, is designed for off-road use with coarse-tread off-road tires and allows the ABS on the rear wheel to be deactivated.

Newly developed chassis with tubular steel frame for optimal rigidity, robustness, and driving precision. Short wheelbase for agile and playful handling.
The new BMW F 450 GS also features a completely new chassis concept. Playful handling, optimum accessibility, high riding precision and riding stability were the developers' top priorities. The specially developed lattice-tube frame of the 
BMW F 450 GS consists of welded steel tubes and forged parts. The frame integrates the two-cylinder in-line engine as a supporting element and is designed to be lightweight yet robust.

The front wheel is guided via KYB upside-down telescopic forks, while the rear wheel is guided via an aluminum hollow cast double armed swinging arm with a KYB central spring strut featuring progressive damping.
Front wheel control is provided by a torsionally rigid KYB upside-down telescopic fork with a 43 mm inner tube diameter. The Sport and GS Trophy variants feature the so-called "sports suspension." The fork is adjustable for rebound and compression damping. Rear wheel control is provided by a closed, and therefore extremely torsionally rigid, yet lightweight, hollow-cast aluminum double-sided swing arm, coupled with a directly connected KYB central spring strut (adjustable spring preload and rebound damping) with travel-dependent damping derived from rally racing, a unique feature in this segment.

Wheels and tires tailored to the typical BMW GS applications.
The new BMW F 450 GS features lightweight yet robust cast aluminum wheels. It is fitted with tubeless tires for road and off-road use, sized 100/90-19 at the front and 
130/80-17 at the rear. Additionally, the Original BMW Motorrad Accessories range offers cross-spoke wheels.

A powerful braking system combined with BMW Motorrad ABS Pro ensures safe braking even when leaning. Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) and Dynamic Brake Light are additional safety features.
The front wheel of the new BMW F 450 GS features a floating single-disc brake with a Brembo 4-piston fixed caliper and a 310 mm brake disc diameter for superior, stable deceleration. A single disc brake with 1-piston floating caliper and 240 mm diameter is used on the rear wheel.

The new BMW F 450 GS already comes standard with BMW Motorrad ABS Pro. ABS Pro also offers increased safety when braking in curves by enabling ABS-assisted braking while leaning. Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) offers increased safety when braking, even in difficult situations, by preventing unintentional throttle application. The dynamic brake light effectively alerts following vehicles to the braking motorcycle ahead.

Optimal ergonomics and equipment for comfortable, playful, and agile motorcycling on and off-road.
A sophisticated ergonomic triangle and a high, close-to-the-body handlebar made of tapered aluminum tubing ensure an ideal riding position in all conditions. The body and the 14-liter fuel tank below it are designed for optimal support and good knee contact, both when seated and while standing off-road. A wide range of accessories are available to meet the individual needs of riders, including a handlebar riser, a rally seat, and the option of a low seat.

Three different seat variants, adjustable hand levers, a handlebar riser, and secure footrests with height-adjustable gearshift and footbrake levers ensure optimal riding comfort both on and off-road.
The new BMW F 450 GS comes with a two-part seat (845 mm) as standard. The low Black rider's seat (830 mm) and the high Rallye seat in Black/White/Red (865 mm), available as part of the Original BMW Motorrad Accessories, can be adapted to individual requirements. The standard adjustable handlebar levers and the optional 20 mm handlebar risers made of high-strength anodized silver aluminum offer further adjustment options.

The new BMW F 450 GS comes standard with a footrest system with removable rubber grips, whose serrated profile makes it suitable for off-road use. A very practical feature is the easy height adjustment of the foot brake lever by 20 mm in two positions to suit individual needs for on- and off-road riding. The gearshift lever is also height-adjustable.

Wider enduro footrests are included starting with the Exclusive version or are available as optional accessories.

High touring and everyday performance thanks to sophisticated vehicle and weather protection, as well as a comprehensive storage concept.
The modular design of the available windshields (optional accessories) allows for individual customization. Depending on the intended use and personal preference, you can choose between the high Tour windshield (height-adjustable) and the clear or tinted Rally windshield. This allows the comfort and wind and weather protection of the new BMW F 450 GS to be tailored specifically to individual needs.

In the event of a fall or tip-over, Original BMW Motorrad Accessories offer effective ways to protect your motorcycle from damage, including engine guards, engine protection bars, front axle protectors, and other protective components.

The new BMW F 450 GS features an LED headlight with an iconic "X" daytime riding light signature as standard. The turn indicator and control lamps of the F 450 GS also use LED technology.

A large 6.5-inch TFT display is also standard on the new BMW F 450 GS. The variety of information, display quality, and, last but not least, user-friendliness are premium. The new BMW F 450 GS is available in four equipment variants: the 
BMW F 450 GS Basis model in Cosmic Black and the BMW F 450 GS Exclusive, also in Cosmic Black, with off-road footrests, handguards, a plastic underbody guard, Riding Modes Pro, Shift Assistant Pro, and a clear windshield.

Another equipment variant is the BMW F 450 GS Sport in Racing Red, featuring off-road footrests, handguards, a plastic underbody protection, Riding Modes Pro, Shift Assistant Pro, a clear windshield, and the “sports suspension” (with KYB fork adjustable in rebound and compression). The fourth variant, the BMW F 450 GS Trophy in Racing Blue Metallic, tops the lineup. Bled, 4. julij 2025 - Osnovno zdravstvo Gorenjske OE Zdravstveni dom Bled je od BMW Slovenije in fundacije Karl-Monz prejel donacijo v višini 22.000 evrov, s katero so kupili reševalni motor BMW F 900 GS-P.Ta bo pomembna pridobitev zlasti v poletnih mesecih, ko se promet na območju Bleda z okolico močno zgosti, zastoji pa podaljšajo čas dostopa nujnega reševalnega vozila do pacientov. Z novim reševalnim motorjem, ki so ga slavnostno prevzeli na današnjem dogodku, bodo reševalci nujne medicinske pomoči Zdravstvenega doma (NMP ZD) Bled hitreje in lažje reševali življenja prebivalcev in turistov na območju občin Bled, Bohinj, Gorje in Radovljica.

Vključitev reševalca na motornem kolesu v NMP ZD Bled je v okviru javnega zavoda Osnovno zdravstvo Gorenjske pilotni projekt. Ob tem je direktorica ZD Bled Lidija Pretnar Pristov povedala: »V poletni sezoni se zaradi številnih turistov obremenjenost naših storitev več kot podvoji, a turistični pritisk v sistematizaciji delovnih mest ni upoštevan. Kljub temu naše zdravstveno osebje tudi v času turistične sezone zagotavlja zdravstveno oskrbo vsem, ki jo potrebujejo - pogosto preko normativov, z omejenimi kadri, s številnimi nadurami skoraj vseh zaposlenih. Žal sistematiziranega delovnega mesta za reševalca-motorista še nimamo, a verjamemo, da bomo z angažiranostjo naše ekipe kos tudi temu izzivu. Iskrena hvala BMW Slovenija za donacijo motornega kolesa, ki nam bo pomagala hitreje dostopati do pacientov.«

Enota NMP ZD Bled zagotavlja nujno medicinsko pomoč na 640 km² velikem območju, poleg tega pa je tudi najbolj s turizmom obremenjena regija v državi. Reševalci se dnevno soočajo z izzivi nujne vožnje v gostem prometu in zastojih pa tudi z razpršeno poselitvijo prebivalstva na območjih, ki so težko dostopna ali nedostopna za reševalno vozilo, npr. sprehajalna pot okoli Blejskega in Bohinjskega jezera, nova kolesarska steza Bled – Bohinj, ceste proti planinam itd. »S ponosom in hvaležnostjo obeležujemo donacijo novega reševalnega motorja, ki ne pomeni le tehnološke pridobitve, ampak predvsem pomemben korak k še hitrejši, bolj učinkoviti in prilagodljivi nujni medicinski pomoči - zlasti na težje dostopnih območjih, ali v času prometnih zastojev, ko je vsaka minuta odločilna,« je izpostavil vodja reševalne postaje ZD Bled Mitja Kosić.

BMW Motorrad je z več kot 90 let izkušenj pri izdelavi specialnih vozil za specifične namene vodilni proizvajalec tovrstnih motornih koles. BMW intervencijska motorna vozila, kot so policijski, reševalni, vojaški in gasilski motorji, prihajajo iz BMW tovarne v Berlinu, kjer so v celoti sestavljeni neposredno iz le njim namenjene proizvodne linije. Samo Trpin, vodja BMW Motorrad v BMW Slovenija je ob predstavitvi reševalnega motorja dodal: »V letu 2024 smo po vsem svetu v kar 34 držav prodali 3200 specialnih motornih koles. Od razvoja do testiranja, usposabljanja in servisa – ponujamo vse, kar stranke, s posebnimi zahtevami, kot jih imajo, na primer, reševalci, potrebujejo. Reševalno motorno kolo BMW F 900 GS-P bo pri uporabi na cesti reševalcem olajšalo manevriranje med zastoji do cilja s svojim izjemnim smerno stabilnim podvozjem ter s hitrostjo in močjo. Pri uporabi izven ceste pa jim bo z enostavnim upravljanjem ponudilo ogromno rezervo moči za premagovanje zahtevnejšega terena. Prav te lastnosti so to motorno kolo odlikovale pri policijskih in reševalnih akcijah po vsem svetu in sedaj bodo koristile tudi na območju reševalne postaje Bled. Ob vseh že tovarniško vgrajenih nadgradnjah za intervencijske namene, je motorno kolo opremljeno tudi s sodobno opremo za oskrbo nujnih stanj na terenu.«

Thomas Germ, predsednik Sekcije reševalcev v zdravstvu Slovenije, pa je dodal, da so motoristi reševalci pogosto prvi stik in tudi prva nujna medicinska pomoč, saj navadno lovijo sekunde in minute, ki jih reševalno vozilo lahko zamudi, zaradi svoje velikosti in doseganja manjše hitrosti. Velik vpliv je tudi cestna infrastruktura, ki je za današnji promet podhranjena. Dejstvo je, da hitrejši dostop do poškodovanih ali obolelih, ki ga motor omogoča, lahko odločilno vpliva ne le na preživetje, ampak tudi na kakovost kasnejšega življenja pacienta. In po besedah predsednika sekcije reševalcev v zdravstvu, bi v Sloveniji reševalnih motornih koles potrebovali več, tudi zato je donacija reševalnega motornega kolesa BMW reševalni postaji ZD Bled, ki ga doslej še ni imela, toliko pomembnejša.

Letos pa je bilo še posebej razburljivo, saj se je dogodek začel z zajtrkom z motoristi, kjer BMW Motorrad ni predstavil le slovenskih premier, ki postavljajo nove mejnike v svetu motociklizma, ampak je tudi predstavil svojega prvega ambasadorja.

Toni Mulec, slovenski motociklistični dirkač, čigar ime je povezano z izjemnimi dosežki na svetovnih tekmovanjih, kot je Dakar, je prejel to častno titulo. Zdaj bo svojo strast do motociklov prinesel tudi na domače ceste, kjer bo z novim BMW F 900 GS raziskoval slovenske makadamske poti. Njegov avanturistični duh in ljubezen do vožnje po težkih terenih se bosta popolnoma ujemala z njegovim novim enduro motorjem, ki je narejen za terensko uporabo in omogoča nepozabne izkušnje.

Na motorističnem srečanju so se zvrstile tudi slovenske premiere potovalnega motorja R 1300 GS Adventure, največjega potovalnika BMW Motorrad, ki združuje preprostost, udobje in neverjetno moč. Ta motor je prava izbira za tiste, ki želijo raziskovati svet z močnim, a udobnim motorjem, ki se ne bo ustrašil nobenega terena. Predstavljena sta bila tudi roadsterja F 900 R in S 1000 R ter športna motorja S 1000 RR in M 1000 R, podpisana z najmočnejšo črko na svetu.

Udeleženci BMW Motorrad roadshowa so imeli priložnost preizkusiti zmogljivosti teh izjemnih motorjev in občutiti adrenalin, ki ga ponujajo. Dogodek je bil prava motoristična zabava, ki je združevala vse tiste, ki delijo strast do motociklov. Sezona 2025 se šele začenja, vendar je že zdaj jasno, da bo to leto polno nepozabnih trenutkov, novih avantur in vrhunskih motorjev, ki nas bodo spremljali na vsakem koraku.

BMW Motorrad Slovenija vsako leto predstavi najnovejše modele BMW Motorrad v okviru organiziranih testnih voženj. Letošnje leto se bo karavana motociklov ustavila v četrtek, 10. aprila, pri Gams Clubu v Slovenski Bistrici in v sredo, 16. aprila, pri BMW Avtoval v Grosuplju.

Na organiziranih brezplačnih testnih vožnjah bodo motoristični navdušenci lahko preizkusili najnovejše modele BMW Motorrad, med njimi tudi R 1300 GS Adventure, M 1000 XR in M 1000 R kot tudi dva urbana motocikla C 400 GT in C 400 X. Testne vožnje bodo potekale organizirano pod vodstvom inštruktorjev in v sodelovanju z uradnimi BMW Motorrad trgovci BMW Selmar in BMW Avtoval.

Teste vožnje za izbrani motocikel potekajo eno uro med 10. in 19. uro. Prijave so obvezne in potekajo prek spletne strani. Prijava je mogoča do zapolnitve mest oziroma najkasneje do tri dni pred izbranim terminom. Udeležba na dogodku je brezplačna, testnih voženj pa se lahko udeleži vsak, ki ima vozniški izpit A kategorije najmanj tri leta.

The new BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR: Technical and visual upgrades and significantly extended standard equipment for the dynamic roadster and long-distance sports bike in the mid-range segment.
With the new BMW F 900 R dynamic roadster and the new BMW F 900 XR crossover bike, BMW Motorrad is taking its popular mid-range product range to a new level. Both F-models are designed for sportiness and fun in twisty terrain, with even more agile handling and are suitable for experienced riders as well as newcomers and those returning to motorcycling. While the new BMW F 900 R as a Dynamic Roadster focuses primarily on sporty riding pleasure, the BMW F 900 XR has everything it takes to be a confident partner on longer tours and holiday trips with luggage.

Powerful two-cylinder in-line engine with Euro 5+ homologation. Dynamic riding mode with sportier set-up, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and engine drag torque control now standard. New sports silencer in collaboration with Akrapovič as genuine BMW Motorrad accessories.
In the new BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR, the tried-and-tested two-cylinder in-line engine with 895 cc capacity and 77 kW (105 bhp) of power output ensures pleasurable riding dynamics. It also delivers a full-bodied torque curve in the current Euro 5+ homologation. With the newly tuned standard "Dynamic" driving mode, the two new F models offer even more riding pleasure and dynamics at a sporty pace. Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) is fitted as standard to ensure the best possible safety during acceleration. The engine drag torque control is also standard. It prevents rear wheel spin or skidding caused by abrupt throttle release or downshifting, for an even higher level of safety.

The sound of the two-cylinder engine, which already has a powerful character due to the 270/450 degree firing interval, is made even throatier by the new sports silencer available as a genuine BMW Motorrad accessory (in cooperation with Akrapovič), which also offers a weight saving of approximately 1.2 kg.

New upside-down telescopic forks with adjustable damping rebound and compression damping and spring preload. New wheels, approx. 1.8 kg lighter. 
BMW Motorrad ABS Pro and Dynamic Brake Control DBC as standard - for even more safety when braking.
On both the new BMW F 900 R and the new BMW F 900 XR, the front wheel is guided by new, torsionally rigid, upside-down telescopic forks with 43 mm slider tube diameter. Both rebound and compression damping as well as spring preload are now adjustable. This makes it possible to tailor the forks to suit individual requirements.

The new BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR also feature new 17-inch cast aluminium wheels. They weigh around 1.8 kg less than the previous models, contributing to a total weight reduction of 3 kg.

Another new standard feature on the new F models is BMW Motorrad ABS Pro. In contrast to BMW Motorrad ABS, ABS Pro goes one step further and offers even more safety when braking in bends by enabling ABS-assisted braking at lean angles.

Another new standard safety feature is Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), which provides even greater safety when braking in difficult situations by preventing unintentional acceleration.

New, 0.8 kg lighter battery as standard and function-integrated turn indicator lights in the new rear end. BMW F 900 XR with Headlight Pro including daytime running light, adaptive headlight, USB-C charging port and heated grips as standard.
The two new F Series models are equipped with a new battery that is 0.8 kg lighter. They also have a new rear end with function-integrated turn indicator lights (brake and tail light functions are integrated into the turn indicator lights).

The new BMW F 900 XR comes with Headlight Pro as standard, including daytime running light and adaptive headlight for even greater safety when riding at night. Other new standard features of the BMW F 900 XR include the USB-C charging port on the right-hand side of the cockpit with a maximum charging current of 2.4 A and the heated grips.

BMW F 900 R with optimised ergonomics thanks to a redefined position of the handlebars and footrests for a more sporty riding position. New headlight side trim painted in body colour.
The handlebars, footrests and foot levers of the ergonomic triangle between the handlebars, seat and footrests of the new BMW F 900 R have been redesigned. This has made it possible to create a riding position that is significantly more sporty and closer to the front wheel.

The new BMW F 900 R's increased sporting ambitions are emphasised by the headlamp side trim painted in body colour.

BMW F 900 XR with optimised aerodynamics and hand protectors as standard.
The new BMW F 900 XR offers even more touring capability and long-distance comfort thanks to optimised aerodynamics in the front fairing. The redesigned wind deflector reduces wind pressure on the rider, resulting in significantly less helmet vibration and even greater riding comfort. The hand protectors, which are standard for all equipment variants, also provides improved protection from the wind and weather.

The new BMW F 900 R is available in three attractive colours. The basic variant is available in Snapper Rocks Blue metallic, the Triple Black version in Blackstorm metallic and the version Sport in Lightwhite with Racingblue metallic.

The new BMW F 900 XR will also be available in three variants and colours for the coming motorcycle season. The basic variant is available in Racing Red, the Triple Black version in Blackstorm metallic and the version Sport in Lightwhite with Racingblue metallic.

Munich. When a total of 22 national teams - including six women's and 16 men's teams - with a total of 60 riders compete for the coveted trophy at the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2024 Namibia from 15 to 20 September 2024, they will be able to rely on a superior workhorse as they cross Namibia: the BMW R 1300 GS Trophy Competition Bike.

The R 1300 GS Trophy Competition Bike has been developed exclusively for this competition, which has been held on the basis of the R 1300 GS since 2008 and is equipped for all eventualities thanks to special accessories. The large GS with its powerful boxer engine is fitted with a handlebar riser, engine protection bar, underride and frame guard, adjustable gear and brake levers, GS Vario rider footrests, enduro hand levers, headlight protection guard and white handguard extensions. The coarse-tread off-road tyres on the black cross-spoke wheels and the single seat bench are designed to cope with the sometimes difficult terrain of the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2024 Namibia in East Africa.

With the exception of a few details, the R 1300 GS Trophy Competition Bike can be configured on the basis of the R 1300 GS Trophy.
Although the BMW Motorrad Competition Bike is not available for sale in exactly this form, it is based on the R 1300 GS Trophy model variant, with the exception of a few details such as the stickers, the large underride guard and the gearshift lever. The basic Racing Blue metallic colour says it all: with its red and white stripes and lettering, combined with the matt white metallic painted rear frame, the R 1300 GS Trophy literally whets the appetite for sporty off-road riding - just as the 22 teams will experience on their R 1300 GS Trophy Competition Bikes in September.

In the spirit of high off-road expertise, the Trophy is equipped ex works with radiator guards to protect against damage, for example from stone chipping. The robust cross-spoke wheels are also part of the off-road equipment. They come with black rims as standard and are also available in gold as an ex-works option.

The BMW F 900 GS Trophy Marshal Bike - the sporty, off-road BMW GS for the middle range as the vehicle for the GS Trophy Marshal Team.
The GS Trophy Marshals, who will guide the participants safely through Namibia's challenging terrain, can also rely on a high level of off-road expertise. Based on the
F 900 GS, the F 900 GS Trophy Marshal Bike is BMW Motorrad's premium offering in the mid-range touring enduro segment.

With a full 77 kW (105 hp) of power and a significantly wider range of uses thanks to greatly enhanced off-road qualities and a drastic weight reduction of 14 kg compared to its predecessor, the sporty representative of the GS models in the F Series - like the
R 1300 GS Trophy Competition Bike - also feels at home in Namibia.

The new BMW F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure and F 800 GS: The new premium mid-range touring enduros provide purist riding fun thanks to even more sophisticated off-road, touring and adventure capabilities.
With the new F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure and F 800 GS BMW Motorrad is significantly boosting its product range of touring enduros for the mid-range. While the new BMW F 800 GS is the ideal bike, especially for entry-level riders, the
BMW F 900 GS Adventure is very well suited for extended adventure trips and for long, demanding tours. All three models have been significantly updated and now offer, among other things, an even higher level of standard equipment in addition to a new drive. The
F 900 GS features many far-reaching innovations. The motorcycle’s range of uses has been considerably expanded thanks to its enhanced off-road qualities combined with a drastic weight reduction of 14 kg compared to the predecessor model making it a particularly sporty F Series model.

Drive with advanced 2-cylinder in-line engine with greater capacity, more output and engine drag torque control.
In the new F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure and F 800 GS the advanced 2-cylinder in-line engine introduced in 2018 with the F 850 GS provides increased riding dynamics. The main reason for this is the increased capacity 895 cc (previously 853 cc). With a
270/450 degree firing interval, the engine generates a particularly emotional sound. In the F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure it puts out 77 kW (105 hp) and in the F 800 GS 64 kW
(87 hp). In addition to a significant increase in peak power of 10 hp each, the new engines are also characterised by a much fuller torque curve, increased pulling power and faster acceleration.

The new GS models in the F series already offer the two riding modes "Rain" and "Road" as standard. Dynamic Traction Control DTC, the cornering-optimised ABS Pro and the dynamic brake light. With "riding modes Pro" available as optional equipment ex works, the dynamic qualities of the new F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure and F 800 GS can be exploited even more intensively thanks to additional riding modes, the riding mode pre-selection and the engine drag torque control as well as Dynamic Brake Control DBC.

The new F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure and F 800 GS rely on a bridge-type frame made of deep-drawn sheet steel parts welded together, which integrates the 2-cylinder in-line engine as a supporting element. The 14.5-litre plastic fuel tank of the new F 900 GS is a completely new development saving 4.5 kg of weight compared to the steel tank of the previous model. The F 900 GS features a completely redesigned rear section which makes it look even more dynamic and save around 2.4 kg of weight. A further 1.7 kg are saved thanks to the rear silencer by Akrapovič. The front wheel on the F 900 GS and
F 900 GS Adventure is guided by new, fully adjustable upside-down telescopic forks by Showa.

The new F 900 GS can be given even more off-road prowess with the optional equipment ex works Enduro Pro package featuring fully adjustable titanium nitride-coated upside-down telescopic forks, fully adjustable central spring strut as well as handlebar risers and M Endurance chain. The Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) electronic suspension is available as optional equipment for the new F 900 GS Adventure and the
F 800 GS.

F 900 GS, a new foot brake lever as well.
The increased off-road qualities of the new F 900 GS are expressed by the ergonomic triangle (handlebar - seat - footrests) optimised for off-road use. Lower footrests in combination with the higher handlebar position and the new design of the fuel tank provide clear advantages, especially when riding standing up on rough terrain.

All three new models already offer an adjustable gearshift lever as standard. In conjunction with an optimised bearing and new gearshift lever kinematics, it was also possible to optimise shifting the six-speed transmission even further. The F 900 GS also features a new foot brake lever in a higher position.

New LED headlight on the BMW F 900 GS. All models feature powerful LED light units.
Compared to the predecessor model, the LED headlight on the new BMW F 900 GS offers a larger low beam opening angle and thus better illumination directly in front of the motorcycle. The new F 900 GS Adventure and the F 800 GS also feature LED headlights as standard. Furthermore, the turn indicator and control lights of all three models also use LED technology.

Connectivity - unrivalled information diversity and functionality in the form of a large, perfectly readable 6.5-inch TFT display. The new BMW F 900 GS comes as standard with multifunction holder to accommodate navigation devices, action cams and more.
The new GS models in the F series already each have a large 6.5-inch TFT display as standard. This applies in particular to the F 800 GS, which previously had an analogue display. Information diversity, quality of presentation and, last but not least, user-friendliness are unrivalled. Phoning, listening to music and navigating while riding is very comfortable. The new BMW F 900 GS is already equipped with a 12 mm holder as standard, which permits action cams or other devices to be mounted. In order to install the BMW Motorrad Connected Ride Navigator or the BMW Motorrad Connected Ride Cradle, the "navigation preparation” option is also required.

The new BMW F 900 GS has been completely redesigned and benefits from a dynamic design that signals increased off-road qualities and sportiness, as well as visually highlighting the 14 kg of lowered weight. One of the key points of the new design is the redesigned plastic fuel tank, which allowed for a much slimmer and ergonomically more favourable design with a capacity of only 0.5 litres less than the previous model. New, close-fitting tank side panels, together with a new radiator trim give the new F 900 GS a sleek, sporty and off-road-oriented look. Off-road qualities, sportiness and dynamic performance are also reflected in the entire rear section, which is significantly narrower and more dynamic than the predecessor model. The dynamic appearance of the new
F 900 GS is further enhanced by the sporty rear silencer by Akrapovič. The new F 900 GS is available as a basic version in Blackstorm metallic, as a Passion model version in São Paulo yellow solid paint and as a GS Trophy version in Lightwhite solid paint/Racing Blue metallic.

Lakiranje Alpine White 3 ostaja v programu. Prejšnji lakiranji Cordoba Blue in kovinsko Kalamata mat nista več na voljo.

BMW F 800 GS Adventure.

Od modelnega leta 2015, bo BMW F 800 GS Adventure prav tako na voljo v

naslednjih novih lakiranjih:

• Alpine White 3
• Kovinsko Kalamata mat

Prejšnji lakiranji Racing Red in Sandrover mat nista več na voljo

BMW F 800 GT.

Od modelnega leta 2015 bo BMW F 800 GT na voljo v naslednjem novem

lakiranju:

• Kovinsko Montego Blue

Kovinsko lakiranje Dark Graphite in lakiranje Light White ostajata v programu,

kovinsko lakiranje Valencia Orange ni več na voljo.

BMW R 1200 GS.

Od modelnega leta  2015 R 1200 GS ne bo na voljo le v novih lakiranjih. Zaradi izboljšanja mirnega teka motorja, bo ta opremljen z ročično gredjo z večjimi vztrajnostnimi masami kot v R 1200 GS Adventure in R 1200 RT. Poleg tega je v okviru tovarniške možnosti za R 1200 GS prav tako dobavljiv BMW Motorrad Keyless Ride System. Ta omogoča zaklepanje in odklepanje ključavnice na krmilu in pokrovu posode za gorivo. Motorno kolo se enako kot prej zažene s pomočjo zagonskega gumba. Z opremo Keyless Ride lahko ključ vedno ostane v žepu motorista. Shift Assistant Pro, ki je na voljo kot dodatna tovarniška možnost opreme, omogoča motoristu prestavljanje navzgor brez uporabe sklopke, kar pomeni pospeševanje tako rekoč brez prekinitve navora. Tudi navzdol se lahko prestavlja brez uporabe sklopke.

BMW R 1200 GS Adventure.

Od modelnega leta 2015 bo R 1200 GS Adventure prav tako vključeval novo opremo, ki rokovanje z ultimativnim potovalnim endurom za dolge razdalje dela še bolj dinamično in udobno. Lahko se na primer opremi s tovarniško možnostjo BMW Motorrad Keyless Ride System. Ta omogoča zaklepanje in odklepanje ključavnice na krmilu in pokrova posode za gorivo. Motorno kolo se enako kot prej zažene s pomočjo zagonskega gumba. Z opremo Keyless Ride lahko ključ vedno ostane v žepu motorista. Shift Assistant Pro, ki je na voljo kot dodatna tovarniška možnost opreme, omogoča motoristu prestavljanje navzgor brez uporabe sklopke, kar pomeni pospeševanje rekoč brez brez prekinitve navora. Tudi navzdol se lahko prestavlja brez uporabe sklopke. V okviru tovarniške možnosti opreme, se lahko R 1200 GS Adventure zdaj prav tako opremi s spuščenim podvozjem. V kombinaciji z znižanjem višine sedeža za 30 mm na 860 mm, je R 1200 GS Adventure odslej prav tako znotraj dosega voznikov, ki jim je prejšnja višina sedeža predstavljala nepremostljivo oviro. Če je potrebno dodatno znižanje sedeža, se lahko R 1200 GS Adventure prav tako opremi s sedeži R 1200 GS. To zniža višino sedeža za dodatnih 20 mm.

Od modelnega leta 2015 bo R 1200 RT dobavljiv v novem dvobarvnem lakiranju

in z možnostjo tovarniške opreme BMW Motorrad Keyless Ride System. S tem se lahko ključavnica na krmilu, pokrov posode za gorivo in predali za spravljanje zaklenejo in odklenejo brez uporabe ključa. Motorno kolo se enako kot prej zažene s pomočjo zagonskega gumba. Z opremo Keyless Ride lahko ključ vedno ostane v žepu motorista.

• Keyless Ride (dodatno)
• Novo dvobarvno kovinsko lakiranje San Marino Blue / Granite Grey mat

Izmed prejšnjih lakiranj kovinsko Quartz Blue ni več na voljo.

BMW K 1600 GT in GTL.

Luksuzni potovalni motorni kolesi BMW K 1600 GT in GTL bosta od modelnega leta 2015 dobavljivi v novih lakiranjih. To pa še ni vse, obe modelni različici odslej

v ponudbi osnovne opreme koristita prednosti dinamičnega nadzora oprijema (DTC), ki zagotavlja večjo varnost pri pospeševanju. Poleg tega se lahko K 1600 GT / GTL v okviru tovarniške možnosti prav tako opremi z BMW Motorrad Keyless Ride System (že del opreme pri K 1600 GTL Exclusive). S tem se lahko ključavnica na krmilu, pokrov posode za gorivo in predali za spravljanje zaklenejo in odklenejo brez uporabe ključa. Motorno kolo se enako kot prej zažene s pomočjo zagonskega gumba. Z opremo Keyless Ride lahko ključ vedno ostane v žepu motorista.

Druga nova posebna oprema za K 1600 GT / GTL vključuje dnevno

luč in Hill Start Control za enostavno speljevanje na klancu. K 1600 GT in GTL sta zdaj prav tako opremljena z instrumentno ploščo K 1600 GTL Exclusive, ki vključuje nove merilne skale in prvovrstne površine v kromu.

Športni potovalni motocikel s kvalitetami premagovanj dolgih razdalj in udobja ter vrhunske vozne dinamike in varnosti - to so že leta izvrstne prednosti BMW K 1300 S. Z ekskluzivnim posebnim modelom K 1300 S Motorsport, BMW Motorrad zdaj namenoma poudarja dinamičen značaj tega popularnega športno-potovalnega motornega kolesa.

Z osnovno opremo ABS kot vsa motorna kolesa BMW, BMW K 1300 S

Motorsport poudarja svoj atletski duh z novim barvnim konceptom v barvnih odtenkih BMW Motorsport: kovinski Black Storm, Light White in kovinski Lupine Blue v kombinaciji z rdečimi okrasnimi črtami. Črn spojler motorja in zatemnjeno vetrobransko steklo ustvarjata fascinanten kontrast.

Pri odražanju svojih športnih teženj je K 1300 S prav tako opremljen s kolesi HP za izpopolnjene vozne lastnosti, zadnjim glušnikom Akrapovič in oporami za noge HP za voznika ter sopotnika.

• Kovinsko Sapphire Black / Black Satin Gloss

Prejšnje lakiranje Racing Red / kovinsko Sapphire Black ni več na voljo.

BMW C evolution.

Za večje udobje se lahko od modelnega leta 2015 inovativen, električno gnani skuter BMW C evolution opremi s komfortnim sedežem (dodatno). Ta možnost je prav tako na voljo kot dodatna oprema za nadgradnjo.

Keyless Ride nova oprema za R 1200 GS / GS Adventure, R 1200 RT in K 1600 GT / GTL za maksimalno prijaznost do uporabnika.

BMW Motorrad Keyless Ride System odslej prvič, v ponudbi dodatne opreme, nadomešča konvencionalno zagonsko ključavnico za R 1200 GS / GS Adventure, R 1200 RT in K 1600 GT / GTL. To pomeni, da ključa ni več potrebno uporabljati na običajen način. Odklepanje in zaklepanje ključavnice na krmilu, vžiga, pokrova posode za gorivo in predalov za spravljanje (R 1200 RT in K 1600 GT / GTL) se izvaja preko transponderja, ki je integriran v ključu. Zato lahko ključ ostane v žepu motorista.
