out a distinctive place for itself in the BMW model family. Now, BMW
UK is introducing the M Mesh Edition which features exclusive content
  and new colour combinations.<br />
<br />The new M Mesh Edition builds on the style already offered by
the M Sport X model and gives the BMW X2 an even more exclusive and
distinctive appearance. The most prominent enhancement is the BMW M
mesh kidney grille in high-gloss black. Like the grille on the BMW X2
  M35i (fuel consumption combined: 36.2 – 36.7 mpg; CO2 emissions
  combined: 178 – 176 g/km*), it has a pronounced three-dimensional mesh
  inspired by racing cars.<br />
<br />The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition features exclusive inserts in the
bumper trim, prominent cladding on the side skirts and door and the
wheel arch trim in a new signature colour Frozen Black-Brown. The
Edition comes as standard with a unique 19” Bi-colour Aerodynamic
alloy wheel with black accents which can be upgraded to a 20”
  Bi-colour alloy wheel.<br />
<br />BMW Individual High-gloss Shadow Line with extended features
also comes as standard. As well as the High-gloss Black window and
exterior mirror surrounds, the mirror base, mirror triangle, B-pillar
trim and trim surround on the C-pillars, this package also includes
the surround for the M mesh kidney grille, a ring around the BMW badge
on the boot lid and exhaust tailpipe finishers in Black Chrome.<br />
<br />The edition comes with X2 logo projection from the exterior
mirror on the driver’s side as standard and also includes door handle
lighting, ground lighting, exterior mirror lighting and door entry light.<br />
  <br />
<strong>LED headlights with cornering lights frame the front-end
design. <br /></strong>The updated front end catches the eye with
the standard LED headlights and the absence of the circular front fog
lights featured previously brings extra distinction to the design. In
adverse weather conditions and poor visibility, activation of the
cornering light provides optimal illumination of the road’s edge.<br />
  <br />
<strong>Adaptive LED headlights with matrix high-beam function as an
    option. <br /></strong>Adaptive LED Headlights, including a
four-segment matrix function for high beam, are also available for
this edition as an optional extra. These headlights help increase
visibility and avoiding dazzling other road users. High beam is split
into several LED segments, which activate and deactivate independently
to adapt road illumination to the traffic situation at hand.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Sporty interior. <br /></strong>Exclusive elements of this
edition are also echoed in the interior of the vehicle with M seats
featuring integral headrests in black Dakota Leather. Contrast
stitching in Grey completes the look and can be found on the
instrument panel, centre console and floor mats. The BMW X2 M Mesh
Edition also brings special entry sills with “Edition” inscription.
The optional panoramic roof, which floods the cabin with light, can be
tilted and opened like a conventional sunroof.<br />
<br />The M leather steering wheel comes as standard, as does a car
key featuring an exclusive M identifier. Cars with a manual gearbox
also have a gearshift lever with M badging. The interior trim strips
are in Aluminium Hexagon Anthracite, the BMW Individual headliner in Anthracite.<br />
  <br />The boot has a capacity of 470 litres (BMW X2 xDrive25e: 410 litres).<br />
  <br />
<strong>Power of Choice: customers can take their pick from seven
engines</strong>.<br />Customers can take their pick from three
different types of drive system for the BMW X2 M Mesh Edition. The
Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) is available with three efficient diesel
engines, three petrol units and a plug-in hybrid drive system, all of
which meet the Euro 6d emissions standard. The BMW X2 also offers
customers a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive and manual or
automatic transmission. Depending on the drive system selected,
customers can order their car with sDrive front-wheel drive or BMW
xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive, a manual gearbox or automatic
  Steptronic transmission<br />
  <br />
<strong>Plug-in hybrid drive system in the BMW X2 xDrive25e offers
electric range of up to 35 miles*.</strong>
<br />The plug-in hybrid powertrain recently introduced for this model
series gives the BMW X2 M Mesh Edition remarkably efficient
performance and the ability to drive with zero local emissions. A
highly efficient electric motor, with an output of 95 hp and torque of
165 Nm are relayed to the rear wheels via a single-speed transmission
and teams up with a 1.5-litre petrol engine generating 125 hp and peak
torque of 220 Nm. The engine’s power is directed to the front wheels
  through a six-speed Steptronic transmission.<br />
<br />The resulting hybrid all-wheel drive system has a combined
system output of 220 hp and overall torque of 385 Nm to make the BMW
X2 xDrive25e exceptionally agile and able to deliver 0 to 62 mph in
  6.8 seconds.<br />
  <br />The high-voltage battery’s gross energy capacity of 10 kWh
translates into an all-electric range of up to 35 miles* in
the statutory WLTP test cycle. When the new BMW X2 xDrive25e is
driving on the electric motor’s power alone (in MAX eDrive mode), the
top speed is 84 mph but with the engine and electric motor working
together, the maximum speed increases to 121 mph.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Maximum Connectivity</strong>
<br />The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition boasts intuitive operation and
intelligent connectivity, allowing the driver to focus their attention
entirely on driving. The ID6 display and operating system offers three
different ways of operating individual vehicle and navigation
functions: using the iDrive Controller, the Control Display’s
touchscreen functionality or a voice control system capable of
understanding naturally formulated sentences. The hands-free facility
with Bluetooth interface and DAB digital radio are included as standard.<br />
<br />The standard BMW Navigation system features an 8.8-inch Control
Display with touchscreen functionality, along with a 5.7-inch
information display in the instrument cluster and Real Time Traffic
Information. Upgrading to BMW Navigation Plus brings an even larger
10.25-inch Control Display as well as BMW Head-Up Display, which
projects important driving information and navigation/assistance
system readouts onto the windscreen, where they appear in high
resolution in the driver’s field of view. <br />
<br />Smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay® as standard for
lifetime allows selected iPhone functions to be used wirelessly and
easily via the vehicle’s Control Display. The optional telephony with
wireless charging function meanwhile, allows inductive charging of
compatible smartphones which can also be hooked up with the car’s
  external antenna.<br />
<br />The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition is available to order from BMW
retailers now from €47,577RRP with first customer deliveries in March 2021.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Ends<br /></strong>
<br />Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption
were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO
(EC) 2007/715 as amended. The figures are calculated using a vehicle
fitted with basic equipment in Germany, the ranges stated take into
account differences in selected wheel and tyre sizes as well as the
optional equipment. They may change during configuration.<br />
<br />The details marked * have already been calculated based on the
new WLTP test cycle and adapted to NEDC for comparison purposes. In
these vehicles, different figures than those published here may apply
for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are
  (also) based on CO2 emissions.<br />
<br />For further details of the official fuel consumption figures and
official specific CO2emissions of new cars, please refer to the
"Manual on fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and power consumption
of new cars", available at sales outlets, from Deutsche Automobil
  Treuhand GmbH (DAT), Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760

<p> </p>
<p>*Pricing of the X2 xDrive25e to follow later in 2020.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>A highly efficient electric drive and a latest-generation lithium-ion
battery enable an electrically powered range of up to 57 kilometres*
in the two new plug-in hybrid models. With average fuel consumption of
2.1 to 1.9 litres per 100 kilometres* and CO2 emissions between 48 and
43 grams per kilometre* for the BMW X1 xDrive25e and 2.1 to 1.9 litres
per 100 kilometres* and between 47 and 43 grams per kilometre* for the
BMW X2 xDrive25e, both models set a benchmark within their competitive
fields. The hybrid specific all-wheel drive system delivers fast and
precise distribution of power between the front and rear wheels,
ensuring a high level of driving agility.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The plug-in hybrid system of the new BMW X1 xDrive 25e and the new
  BMW X2 xDrive25e consists of a 1.5 litre 3-cylinder petrol engine with
BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology and an electric drive specially
developed for this model, derived from the BMW Group eDrive modular
technology. The petrol engine mobilises a peak output of 125hp and a
maximum torque of 220 Newton metres. It transfers its power to a
6-speed Steptronic transmission and drives the front wheels. The
electric motor generates an output of 95 hp and delivers 165 Nm of
torque to the rear wheels via a single-speed transmission. This makes
for a hybrid specific all-wheel drive, which gives both models a
unique level of agility in their class. The electric motor’s highly
responsive power delivery provides maximum torque spontaneously from
standstill, enables the driver to react extremely quickly to changing
driving conditions. In addition, the position of the electric motor
above the rear axle contributes to the balanced axle load
distribution. The intelligently controlled interaction between the two
power units provide maximum driving stability, ride comfort and
  dynamic response.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Together the combustion engine and electric motor produce a system
output of 220 hp. The maximum system torque of both drive units is 385
Nm. The new BMW X1 xDrive25e accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 6.9
seconds, whilst the BMW X2 xDrive25e does the same in 6.8 seconds. In
addition, the electric boost provided by the drive system ensures
additional safety reserves and intense sporty flair when required. The
top speed of the new BMW X1 xDrive25e is 190 km/h, and 192km/h for the
  BMW X2 xDrive25e.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>With the very latest high-voltage battery cell technology, the new
BMW X1 xDrive25e and the new BMW X2 xDrive25e possess generous
reserves of electrical energy enabling the driver to conduct most of
their everyday travel locally emissions-free. The latest-generation
lithium-ion battery has a gross energy content of 10 kWh. This allows
for an electrically powered range of between 54 and 57 kilometres* in
the BMW X1 xDrive25e (between 55 and 57 kilometres* in the new BMW X2
xDrive25e). The high-voltage battery can be charged at conventional
household sockets using the standard-equipment charging cable. An
empty battery can be fully charged in around five hours in this way.
It only takes 3.8 hours for the battery to reach 80 percent of its
total capacity. Using a BMW i Wallbox, the relevant charging operation
from 0 to 100 percent takes less than 3.2 hours. 80 percent of total
capacity is already reached after 2.4 hours. The charging socket is
located under a separate flap on the front left side wall of the car.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The driver can use the eDrive button on the centre console to
influence the drive system’s operating mode. In the AUTO eDRIVE
standard setting, the intelligent drive system ensures optimum
interaction between the two power units in all driving situations.
Navigation data is also used to manage the plug-in hybrid system to
increase the efficiency as well as driving pleasure. When navigation
guidance is activated, the anticipatory energy management can also
take into account the route profile for controlling the drive system.
The MAX eDrive mode can be activated for maximum use of the electric
drive. In this mode, the new BMW X1 xDrive25e and the new BMW X2
xDrive25e reach a top speed of 135km/h. In addition there is also the
SAVE BATTERY mode. It enables the driver to maintain the charging
state of the high-voltage battery while driving or to increase it by
means of recuperation. Using this mode, battery capacity can be saved
for later use, for example when arriving at your destination in purely
electric mode. In the new BMW X1 xDrive25e and the new BMW X2
xDrive25e, the driver can use the driving experience switch to
activate the COMFORT, SPORT and ECO PRO modes in order to influence
the drive and suspension functions as well as to change the behaviour
of the electrically powered comfort systems - the driving experience
switch can be used independent of the drive mode.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new BMW X1 xDrive25e and the new BMW X2 xDrive25e feature
acoustic pedestrian protection as standard. When driving electrically
at speeds of up to 30km/h, an unmistakable sound designed specifically
for electrified BMW models is generated to alert other road users to
the approaching car without impairing the acoustic comfort of the
  vehicle occupants.</p>
<p>
<br />The standard equipment of the two compact BMW X models with
plug-in hybrid drive also includes 17-inch light alloy wheels, 2-zone
automatic air conditioning as well as auxiliary air conditioning. The
interior can be pre-conditioned remotely via BMW Connected using a
smartphone. The new BMW X1 xDrive25e is available in Sport Line, xLine
and M Sport for the Irish market. Virtually all options available on
the conventionally powered BMW X1 are available for the plug-in hybrid models.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The positioning of the high-voltage battery underneath the rear seats
not only leads to a very low centre of gravity, which optimises the
agility of the BMW X1 xDrive25 and the new BMW X2 xDrive25e. In the
new BMW X1 xDrive25e luggage compartment capacity is 450 litres, with
a standard split of 40: 20: 40, and folding backrests enable the
capacity to be increased to 1,470 litres. A trailer tow hitch with
detachable ballhead is optionally available for the new BMW X1
  xDrive25e, with a maximum trailer load of 750 kilograms.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>With the extension of the range in the premium compact segment the
BMW Group’s model offensive is gaining further momentum in the area of
plug-in hybrid models. The current selection comprises the MINI
Countryman Plug-in Hybrid, the BMW 225xe Active Tourer, BMW 3 Series,
  BMW 5 Series, BMW 7 Series, BMW X3 xDrive30e and BMW X5 xDrive45e.</p>
<p>As a pioneer in electric mobility BMW intends to have more than one
million vehicles with electrified drive on the road by the end of
2021. By 2021, 25 percent of the vehicles sold by the BMW Group in
Europe will feature an electric drive. By 2025 this figure is
scheduled to reach 33 percent and 50 percent by 2030. The BMW Group
plans to extend their portfolio to 25 electrified vehicles by 2023.</p>

breaks new ground for BMW as a unique and exciting addition to the BMW
  X model range.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The car’s chassis and xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system
delivers the ideal balance between sporting dynamics and efficiency.
The digital services from BMW ConnectedDrive and BMW ConnectedDrive
Services – both of which are now available in freshly updated form –
add further depth to the overall BMW X2 experience.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
<strong>Design. </strong></p>
<p>Even next to its bigger brothers, the BMW X4 and X6, the BMW X2 makes
a distinctive impression. The car’s exterior design combines the
low-slung proportions of a coupé with the robust core of a BMW X model.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The BMW X2 is two centimetres shorter and more than seven centimetres
lower than the BMW X1, yet has the same wheelbase. Featuring short
overhangs, it also has a stretched, coupé-style roofline and slim
  window graphic.</p>
<p>
<strong> </strong></p>
<p>The kidney grille has always been an identifying feature of a BMW. On
the X2, however, its outline is wider at its base than at its top. The
X2 is the first modern BMW to feature this design cue, and it gives
the new car a broader, more distinctive and sportier appearance. Below
the grille, the hexagonal surface treatment in the bumper further
reinforces this impression. The high-gloss black grille provides sharp
  contrast with its chrome surround.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Full-LED headlights as standard on Sport, M Sport and M Sport X
models. The bi-LED light for low beam and high beam is highly
effective at illuminating the road, while also accentuating the BMW
X2’s sporty character. The headlights display precise detailing,
achieved in part through 3D Icon LED daytime driving light and laser engraving.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The M Sport and M Sport X models are available with wheels in sizes
up to 20-inch, a standout feature in this segment. As standard, both
models are fitted with 19-inch wheels. The standard rims for the SE
model are 17-inch V-Spoke style light alloy wheels, but ten other rim
designs can be specified as an option.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The side skirts of the BMW X2 are among its signature features and
contribute to its rugged good looks. The cladding is black on the SE
and Sport models and Frozen Grey on the M Sport X. The C-pillars host
two characteristic BMW features: the hallmark BMW Hofmeister kink and,
for the first time on a BMW X model, the BMW roundel.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>At the rear, a spoiler provides a flourish to round off the BMW X2’s
roofline and contributes to the BMW X2’s drag co-efficient of just
0.28. Together with the width-enhancing rear bumper, this creates a
  powerful rear view.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>On the SE and Sport models, the rear bumper comes in the vehicle
colour and matt black. The M Sport models feature a diffuser-look
cladding inlay in Dark Shadow metallic. M Sport X models, meanwhile,
get a bespoke diffuser insert in the contrast colour Frozen Grey.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The horizontal design lines of the BMW X2’s rear-end emphasise the
car’s width and its strong character, with these lines continuing into
the high-set rear lights. The LED rear lights contour and the L shape
  familiar from BMW coupés.</p>
<p>
<strong> </strong></p>
<p>The car hints at the power of its BMW TwinPower Turbo engines through
the design of the tailpipes. All X2 models come with a twin exhaust
  arrangement 90mm diameter.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
<strong>Interior and equipment.</strong></p>
<p>The class quality of the BMW X2 and its levels of equipment, even in
the SE model, are both instantly apparent. The instrument panel has
contrast stitching as standard, while the centre console features
materials including Sensatec also with contrast stitching. The
interior of the M Sport model is trimmed in a Micro Hexagon fabric
Anthracite/Alcantara combination, with the M Sport X adding leather
upholstery as standard. Eye-catching highlights can be added by opting
for the new perforated Dakota leather in Magma Red or the Micro
Hexagon fabric Anthracite/Alcantara combination upholstery with yellow
contrast stitching to match the Galvanic Gold metallic exterior paint shade.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new BMW X2 combines style with generous everyday practicality.
The boot has a capacity of 470 litres, meaning it can handle leisure
activities, from shopping sprees to a skiing weekend or mountain-bike
tour. This functionality manifests itself in the passenger compartment
too, thanks to features such as a door design featuring large storage pockets.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The cabin is driver-focused, with the design of features such as the
instrument panel binnacle directed at the road ahead. All controls are
positioned to allow the driver to assimilate their information with a
single glance and operate them with ease.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The soft-finish instrument panel is pleasant to the touch and gains
further visual appeal with contrast decorative stitching. The M Sport
model comes with Micro Hexagon fabric Anthracite/Alcantara combination
upholstery with M piping in blue or yellow with contrast stitching on
the instrument panel and the centre console as standard. The M Sport X
model comes with Dakota leather with contrast stitching. Further
sophisticated upholstery variants are available as options, including
as many as five Dakota leather variants with part-perforation and
coordinated contrast stitching. The choice of trim finishers,
including High-gloss Black, Aluminium and matt Oak Grain variants,
underlines the high-quality credentials of the BMW X2.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Excluding SE model, all functional controls in the centre console are
set in high-gloss black as standard, giving the interior a touch of
  sophisticated elegance.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>An optional lighting package within the Plus pack allows drivers to
set a stylish lighting mood for the interior of their BMW X2 by
choosing from the colours Orange, Lilac, Mint, Bronze, Blue and White.
The LED lighting in the trim surfaces of the instrument panel and door
panels forms a continuous band that extends all the way around the
  cabin to the rear.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>One of the most distinctive options on the list is the panoramic
roof, which adds to the sense of spaciousness inside the BMW X2. The
front section of the panoramic roof tilts and slides open, just like a
  conventional sunroof.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
<strong>Driving dynamics. </strong></p>
<p>The TwinPower Turbo engines within the BMW X2 range team with the
car’s refined chassis to endow it with class-beating handling
qualities, exceptional agility and superb feedback.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The common denominator of all BMW X2 models is a chassis that
transfers the core responsiveness of the BMW engines to the road. The
car’s driving responses can be adapted by using the Driving Experience
Control switch, allowing the driver to choose between default COMFORT
mode, efficiency-enhancing ECO PRO mode and SPORT mode. The
pre-programmed set-up available via SPORT mode gives the car even more
  dynamic steering and powertrain responses.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>If the optional Dynamic Damper Control is specified, the car’s
suspension can be adjusted even more precisely to individual
requirements. Drivers can choose between two settings – COMFORT or
SPORT – using the Driving Experience Control switch. The result is
sporty suspension offering solid road holding and reassuring comfort
  over any surface.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The M Sport suspension fitted as standard on the BMW X2 M Sport and M
Sport X is a particularly good match for these two models and includes
tauter spring and damper tuning. BMW X2 M Sport and M Sport X models
offer suspension which is 10mm lower than the standard suspension.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>At launch, the X2 xDrive20d diesel variant will be available. It
generates maximum output of 190hp and 400Nm of torque enabling a zero
to 62mph time of 7.7 seconds. Official fuel consumption is still
highly impressive 61.4mpg*, while CO2 emissions are as low as
121g/km*. Further attractive variants of the BMW X2 will be added to
the Sports Activity Coupé’s line-up in early 2018 – in the shape of
  the four-cylinder X2 sDrive20i, X2 sDrive18d and X2 xDrive18d. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>The 20d diesel model comes equipped with xDrive intelligent all-wheel
drive as standard. The integral Hill Descent Control feature enables
the BMW X2 to automatically maintain a desired speed on steep descents
by taking care of brake control for the driver, who can then devote
their attention to the task of steering.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>With a drag coefficient of just Cd 0.28, the X2 xDrive20d is one of
the most aerodynamically efficient models in the whole segment.</p>

<strong>Digital services in the new X2. </strong></p>
<p>All of the BMW ConnectedDrive and BMW Connected elements in the new
  BMW X2</p>
<p>have once again been designed to assist, inform or entertain the
driver at the appropriate time using just the right services.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new X2 offers its driver three different ways of interacting with
their car, as the sixth generation of the iDrive control concept now
supplements the familiar iDrive Controller and optional voice control
(within Tech pack) with touchscreen operation as standard for the
Control Display . The touchscreen can also be used comfortably by the
  front passenger.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Standard specification for every BMW X2 includes a 6.5-inch Touch
Control Display with navigation system. The display concept is
designed to provide the driver with a quick summary of the most
important information at any particular time by means of, for example,
the live tiles that appear in the display’s main menu. Its operation
emulates the intuitive touch control principles familiar from smartphones.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>For even greater safety and convenience in the BMW X2, there is the
option of the full-colour BMW Head-Up Display, also featured within
the Technology Pack, projects all important driving information and
navigation/assistance system readouts onto the windscreen and
therefore into the driver’s field of view – in high resolution.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>BMW Connected+ provides a digital bridge between smartphones and the
car. It delivers the next level of in-car personalisation and
smartphone content integration on the Control Display of the X2. This
makes display and operation in the vehicle simpler than ever. One
example of a new Connected+ service is Share Live Trip Status which
allows the driver to share their current location and time of arrival
with business partners, friends or family.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Among the other highlight features enabling connectivity anytime,
anywhere are the optional WiFi hotspot preparation (available in Tech
Pack), which equips the BMW X2 to host a built-in WiFi hotspot with
LTE speeds, and the optional telephony with wireless charging
(available in Tech Pack) for compatible smartphones. Apple CarPlay®
(available retrospectively from the BMW ConnectedDrive Store),
meanwhile, enables easy, wireless in-car use of selected iPhone functions.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Not only does the BMW X2 offer drivers a wide selection of driver
assistance systems, it also comes with highly advanced technologies.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The camera-based assistance systems available for the new BMW X2 help
to deliver assurance and safety in different driving situations. The
optional Driving Assistant (within Drive Pack) includes Lane Departure
Warning, Speed Limit Info with No Passing Info display, anti-dazzle
High Beam Assistant, as well as Collision Warning and Pedestrian
Warning with City Braking function. In addition to these functions and
as an upgrade to the Driver Pack, the Driving Assistant Plus also
features the Active Cruise Control system with Stop & Go function
  – which maintains both a desired speed between 19 and 87mph entered by
the driver and the safety distance to vehicles travelling ahead – and
the Traffic Jam Assistant. At speeds up to 37mph, this function takes
over both proximity control and lane-keeping tasks from the driver.
The Traffic Jam Assistant uses steering assistance to keep the car
reliably in the middle of its lane, but the driver needs to have at
least one hand on the steering wheel for the system to work.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Standard rear Park Distance Control and the rear-view camera (within
Vision Pack), whose images are transferred onto the Control Display,
make precise and comfortable manoeuvring that much easier. The
optional Park Assist (also within Driver Pack) also helps the driver
to find and make use of parallel parking spaces.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Prices start from €50,320 OTR for a BMW X2 xDrive20d SE. The car is
  available to order from mid-November.</p>

<p>* Fuel consumption figures are based on the EU test cycle and may
vary depending on the tyre format specified.</p>
<p>** Fuel consumption figures are provisional, based on the EU test
cycle and may vary depending on the tyre format specified.</p>
<p>The fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures shown were determined
according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version
applicable at the time of type approval. The figures refer to a
vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown
considers the different size of the selected wheels and tires. The
values of the vehicles labelled with (**) are already based on the new
WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in
order to ensure the comparison between the vehicles. With respect to
these vehicles, for vehicle-related taxes or other duties based (at
least inter alia) on CO2 emissions, the CO2 values may differ to the
values stated here (depending on national legislation).</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The CO2 efficiency specifications are determined according to
Directive 1999/94/EC and the Pkw-EnVKV, and based (for classification)
on the fuel consumption and CO2 values as per the NEDC cycle.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Further information on official fuel consumption figures and specific
CO2 emission values of new passenger cars is included in the following
guideline: “Leitfaden über Kraftstoffverbrauch, die CO2-Emissionen und
den Stromverbrauch neuer Personenkraftwagen” (Guideline for fuel
consumption, CO2 emissions and electric power consumption of new
passenger cars), which can be obtained free of charge from all

<strong>Munich.</strong> The new BMW X2* still has some time to go
before its highly anticipated world premiere. But even though it’s
still in its development phase, the latest Sports Activity Coupé from
the BMW X family set off on an exploration trip into its future
  environment – the urban jungle.</p>
<p>And the outfit chosen by the new BMW X2 was just right for this
adventure: its athletic contours were dressed in a spectacular
camouflage design that was absolutely perfect for a jungle excursion.
The striking finish in yellow, grey and black highlights the
distinctive qualities of the new Sports Activity Coupé in optimum
fashion. The unusual design is based on a digital pattern and
expresses the innovative spirit and future orientation of the BMW Group.</p>
<p>So it was hardly surprising that the new BMW X2 was the centre of
attention on its expedition. Anyone who came across it during the tour
was able to gain an early impression of its extravagant, contemporary
design and sporty flair – a great opportunity to get to know the
perfect Sports Activity Coupé for young, extrovert and active individuals.</p>
