Satifaction Index Study - Indonesian Car of The Year 2004 for the New 5
Series Jakarta. PT BMW Indonesia announced recently that the company
was awarded a total of seven accolades from J.D. Power Asia Pacific and
two local automobile magazines, MobilMotor and Auto Bild Indonesia, in
the first week of September 2004 alone, reflecting the company's
outstanding record of performance and quality. For the second
consecutive year, BMW dealerships rank highest in customer satisfaction
according to the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2004 Indonesia Customer
Satisfaction Index (CSI) Study. BMW attained the highest tribute with an
overall satisfaction index score of 783 out of a maximum of 1,000
points. BMW also leads the industry in all seven factors commonly used
to determine customer satisfaction in dealer after-sales service:
service quality, problems encountered, user friendly service, service
advice, service response time, service delivery, and in-service
experience. "BMW's impressive performance is driven by double-digit
gains in all seven factors of the CSI, with the largest gains in
service quality and user-friendly service," confirmed Gerrit
Kuyntjes, General Manager at J.D. Power Asia Pacific. The new BMW 5
Series has also captured the coveted "Indonesian Car of the Year
2004" award by MobilMotor magazine. In addition, the magazine
honored the 5 Series as the "Best Exclusive Premium Sedan".
Both accolades were presented by the Chief Editor of MobilMotor to
Josef Honsel, President Director of BMW Indonesia on September 10, 2004
at the 2nd Jakarta Motor Show. The Auto Bild Indonesia Award 2004
