  <strong>Singapore. </strong>BMW Asia unveiled today the BMW i7
  Singapore Icons, a one-of-its-kind all-electric luxury sedan created
  to commemorate Singapore’s 60th anniversary, BMW Asia’s
  40th anniversary and their shared values and success.   </p>
<p> </p>
<p>“Planning for this masterpiece began 18 months ago and was a labour
  of love,” said Lars Nielsen, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia. “It is
  a celebration of icons and was created to be one itself. The BMW i7
  Singapore Icons exhibits the best BMW has to offer, including refined
  materials, supreme craftsmanship, and individualization, all to honor
  the Lion City. From the exclusive BMW Individual red hue to the seven
  iconic landmarks inlaid on the dashboard, to the uniquely embellished
  signet on the Hofmeister kink, every detail is finely crafted and
  carries the bold spirit of a nation moving forward.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“This exceptional vehicle celebrates a nation whose journey to
  excellence is built on decades of strong leadership, innovation and
  ambition, in the same way that BMW has advanced over the last 40 years
  in Singapore,” continued Nielsen. “It is these values that also
  resonated with Mr. Choo Wai Luen, owner of Kwong Cheong Thye Pte.
  Ltd., whose personal journey demonstrates how five generations of
  leadership, hard work and commitment have led to success. He chose to
  purchase the BMW i7 Singapore Icons to celebrate his business’
  133rd anniversary in 2025.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“It is a privilege to call myself the owner of a one-of-one BMW,
  acquired through our long-standing, trusted partners at the Eurokars
  Group. Every time I look at this masterpiece, I'm reminded of how far
  we have come as a nation and how far my family and I have come in
  building our business,” said Mr. Choo. “My family will drive the
  Singapore Icons with pride and joy, knowing that it represents
  something special to us, to BMW, and our country.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Madeira Red finish.</strong>
  <br />Madeira Red, one of more than 130 BMW Individual paint options,
  is a dark red metallic paint from Rolls-Royce, available through BMW
  Individual. It features opulent tones of rich red madeira wine and
  dark cherry-black hues. This paint was chosen for its unique
  multi-layered pearlescent effect that appears as a deep, rich red
  under normal light, with metallic flakes shining under direct
  sunlight. The BMW i7 Singapore Icons is the first car in Singapore to
  feature this paint, and no further models are planned with this
  colour, making the BMW i7 Singapore Icons a highly exclusive creation.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Singapore Icons signet.</strong>
  <br />The Singapore Icons logo has been meticulously laser etched onto
  the Hofmeister kink, further emphasizing the exclusivity on the
  exterior of the vehicle. The Hofmeister kink first appeared on a BMW
  model in the 1960s on the BMW 1500. Since then, it has been a
  signature design element of every BMW model. The position of vehicle’s
  signet on the BMW i7 Singapore Icons was specially chosen in a nod to
  the Hofmeister kink’s historical roots.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>21” Multi-Spoke Style 1055 wheels.</strong>
  <br />Crafted by BMW Individual, these wheels feature an intricate
  20-spoke design with a two-tone Bi-colour and diamond-cut finish. The
  extensive fabrication process highlights the exceptional craftsmanship
  and bespoke nature of this model, adding to its subtle elegance and presence.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Merino leather upholstery in Smoke White.</strong>
  <br />Complementing the Madeira Red exterior is the BMW Individual
  Smoke White Merino leather interior which elegantly echoes the red and
  white of the Singapore flag. With its fine, full-grain texture, the
  leather is soft, breathable, and robust. Each hide is carefully
  selected for its immaculate, unblemished quality.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Custom Singapore Icons stitching.</strong></p>
<p>The Singapore Icons design is custom-stitched and embroidered into
  all four headrests in matching Alaska Grey. This colour was specially
  chosen as it contrasts and complements the vehicle’s luxurious
  interior and is a signature touch from BMW Individual.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Dashboard inlay.</strong></p>
<p>The dashboard of the BMW i7 Singapore Icons is a canvas that honours
  the spirit of the Nation by featuring seven of Singapore’s
  world-renowned icons. This pièce de resistance features the following landmarks:</p>
<ul>
  <li>Singapore Changi Control Tower</li>
  <li>Gardens by the Bay Supertree Grove</li>
  <li>Singapore Flyer</li>
  <li>Marina Bay Sands</li>
  <li>Anderson Bridge</li>
  <li>Merlion Statue</li>
  <li>ArtScience Museum</li></ul>
<p> </p>
<p>This metallic inlay is precision at its finest, crafted from a 25.7
  cm-wide, single-piece metal that has been uninterruptedly laser-cut to
  a delicate masterpiece d thinner than 1mm. It is seamlessly integrated
  into the natural fine-wood in oak grey metallic, and finally finished
  with a clear lacquer coat for a flawless, mirror-like finish.</p>

  <strong>Munich.</strong> Bavarian premium carmaker BMW is using an
  elaborately orchestrated brand campaign to shine the spotlight on its
  wide range of fully electric vehicles, which now comprises the BMW i4,
  BMW i5, BMW i7, BMW iX1, BMW iX2, BMW iX3 and BMW iX. The
  multi-channel campaign is focusing communications on values that have
  forever been associated with the BMW brand – exceptional dynamics,
  innovative technologies, unmistakable design and supreme driving comfort.</p>
<p>The global campaign relies primarily on video formats. The
  centrepiece of the campaign launch was a 30-second TV commercial,
  which has been spun off across the brand’s social media channels –
  YouTube and Instagram, in particular – and, with the help of paid
  media, in the individual markets. The commercial invites the viewer to
  discover the “soul” and character of BMW along a fast-paced journey
  through the history of the brand: from victories in motor racing via
  the brand’s distinctive design language and expertise, and its
  time-honoured talent for innovation, all the way to the transformation
  to electric mobility. The joy of driving has been inextricably linked
  with BMW since the company was formed – and this commercial brings it
  to life through the brand’s all-electric models.</p>
<p>The use of the hit single “Beautiful Things” by US singer Benson
  Boone turns up the emotionality of the commercial another notch. The
  track has exceeded 1.3 billion streams on Spotify alone and has also
  been a trending sound on social media platform TikTok for several months.</p>
<p>The emotionally charged hero film is accompanied by a series of other
  assets. For example, five reels have been produced which focus on the
  brand’s core competencies – Performance, Heritage, Innovation,
  Motorsport and Community. And additional reels telling inspirational
  social-media stories on the various fully electric models round off
  the multi-channel campaign.</p>
<p>“With this emotional campaign we are celebrating the unique soul of
  our brand, which has defined us since day one and which we have also
  carried into our fully electric BMW vehicles,” says Bernd Körber,
  Senior Vice President BMW Brand and Product Management. “After all,
  our customers represent the true essence of BMW, and they experience
  pure driving pleasure in all of our models.”</p>
<p>As well as the video content, a selection of just under 40 photo
  assets showcase the fully electric models to spectacular effect in
  natural surroundings – at different times of day and in different
  locations. Atmospheric lighting, which enriches the motifs with warm
  colours and mildly exaggerated contrasts, brings a very distinct sense
  of approachability to the images. The exclusive features of the
  individual models, such as the two-tone paint finish of the BMW i7,
  are depicted realistically. Alongside numerous individual images
  emphasising the pure joy of electric driving, a handful of pack shots
  of the BMW i4, BMW i5, BMW i7, BMW iX1, BMW iX2, BMW iX3 and BMW iX in
  their various configurations highlight the rich diversity of vehicles
  offered by BMW across the relevant segments.</p>

  <strong>Singapore. </strong>BMW Group Asia first began its
  electromobility journey back in 2014 with the groundbreaking BMW i3
  and BMW i8. Today, nine years and five generations of BMW eDrive
  technology later, the company broadens its portfolio of fully electric
  vehicles (EVs) with the new BMW i4 eDrive35.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“The BMW i4 brings electrification to the heart of the BMW brand,”
  said Mr. Lars Nielsen, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia. “It is the
  perfect companion for those who value practicality, performance, and
  poise, all in one sustainable package. Electromobility is gaining
  traction in Singapore as the charging infrastructure develops and
  OEMs, such as BMW, continue to offer more EV options. We strongly
  encourage customers who are considering an EV to get behind the wheel
  – whether it be the BMW i4, i7 or iX3, once you’ve experienced the
  true essence of what a fully electric BMW stands for, there is no
  turning back.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new BMW i4 eDrive35 expands the BMW i4 family that currently
  consists of the highly successful BMW i4 M50 (best-selling BMW M
  vehicle globally in 2022) and BMW i4 eDrive40. The new BMW i4 eDrive35
  comes with all the latest technology – from the efficient electric
  powertrain found in models such as the BMW iX and its BMW i4 siblings,
  to the BMW Curved Display with Operating System 8.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new BMW i4 eDrive35 is produced at the BMW Group Munich plant and
  with this new model, the share of fully electric cars will reach 50%
  of the total production volume there in 2023. Including the new BMW i4
  eDrive35, the BMW Group portfolio of fully electric cars covers six
  model lines with 10 powertrain derivatives in total. The BMW Group is
  aiming for fully electric vehicles to account for 50% of its global
  sales by 2030.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>BMW Group Asia offerings in Singapore.</strong></p>
<p>Today, there are a total of six fully electric models in four
  different body styles that cater to all lifestyles:</p>
<ul>
  <li>
    <strong>Gran Coupé</strong>: BMW i4, BMW i4 M50</li>
  <li>
    <strong>Sedan: </strong>BMW i7</li>
  <li>
    <strong>Sports Activity Vehicle: </strong>BMW iX3, BMW iX</li>
  <li>
    <strong>3-Door Hatch</strong>: MINI Electric</li></ul>
<p> </p>
<p>This is just the beginning of the company’s electric model offensive.
  With the upcoming BMW i5 sedan, keen drivers will be treated to a car
  that is more dynamic and comfortable than ever. It also boasts a fresh
  interpretation of its signature elegantly sporting design, BMW
  Operating System 8.5 with BMW Curved Display, and a suite of
  innovative digital services.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Latest sales figures.</strong></p>
<p>According to the Land Transport Authority (LTA) figures for the first
  four months of 2023, BMW Group Asia sold a total of 204 fully electric
  vehicles (top in the premium segment and #2 among all brands),
  accounting for just over 20% of total BMW and MINI EV sales to date in
  Singapore. This achievement further strengthens the company’s position
  as a pioneer and leader in the electromobility space and delivers an
  encouraging indicator of EV buyers’ preference for BMWs and MINIs in Singapore.</p>
<p>
  <strong> </strong></p>
<p>
  <strong>Charging in Singapore.</strong></p>
<p>There are currently more than 3,600 EV charging points island wide
  with plans already in motion to further grow this figure. Singapore
  aims to deploy 12,000 and 60,000 charging points by 2025 and 2030
  respectively. Of these 60,000 charging points, 40,000 will be in
  public carparks and the other 20,000 in private premises.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>To make electromobility simple and straightforward for customers, BMW
  Group Asia has been collaborating with Greenlots, a member of the
  Shell Group, since 2014, to provide home and public charging options
  for customers in Singapore. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Today, BMW Group Asia continues this partnership by offering BMW i
  and MINI Electric customers either a comprehensive home or public
  charging package under the Shell Recharge banner.</p>
<ul>
  <li>For home charging, customers will receive a wall-mounted AC
    charger with complimentary installation service.</li>
  <li>For public charging, customers will receive a subscription package
    of 10,000 kWh over 3 years at Shell Recharge stations with no
    monthly cap for charging. This is equivalent to 50,000 km of driving
    range (assuming average energy consumption at 20kWh/100km).</li></ul>
<p> </p>
<p>The wall-mounted AC charger provides a fast way to charge their
  vehicle at a rate of up to 11kW. Once the vehicle is plugged in,
  charging begins and will end automatically when the battery is fully
  charged or has reached the pre-determined level. In addition, BMW i
  and MINI Electric models are compatible with all Type 2 public
  charging stations that are widely available across the island.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>BMW Charging and MINI Charging give drivers access to one of the
  largest networks of public charging stations located in various office
  buildings, shopping malls, hotels and industrial parks in Singapore.
  Activation of and payment for the chargers can be done through an RFID
  card or the Shell Recharge smartphone app.</p>
<p>
  <strong> </strong></p>
<p>
  <strong>Regional footprint.</strong></p>

  <strong>Singapore. </strong>BMW Asia today showcased the first-ever
  BMW i7 at the BMW i Pavilion at ION Orchard, L1 ION2. The
  all-electric flagship sedan will be available for viewing by
  invite-only from 9 – 18 September for VIPs and prospective customers
  to see up-close how a luxury sedan can effortlessly be combined with
  unwavering commitment to sustainability.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“BMW has been on an electric offensive since July 2021 with the
  introduction of the first-ever BMW iX3, followed by the BMW iX in
  December 2021 and then the BMW i4 in March 2022,” said Lars Nielsen,
  Managing Director of BMW Group Asia. “During this period, the demand
  for our EVs has well surpassed supply, proving more than ever that
  drivers in Singapore are ready to go electric. The BMW i7 is our first
  fully electric luxury sedan and customers are eagerly awaiting its
  arrival later this year. Until then, they have an opportunity to view
  our flagship model at the BMW i Pavilion and see first-hand what is
  making everyone go ‘Wow’.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Subtle points to top-level sustainability.</strong></p>
<p>The first-ever BMW i7 brings a selection of distinctive design
  accents to mark out its particularly sustainable character. Its BMW
  kidney grille – fully enclosed to optimise airflow – sports the logo
  of the BMW i sub-brand. And the horizontal bar in the lower air
  intake, the decorative elements in the side skirts and rear apron, and
  the surrounds of the BMW logo at the front and rear all come in BMW i
  Blue as standard.</p>
<p>
  <strong> <br /></strong></p>
<p>
  <strong>Unique sound experience with the new BMW IconicSounds Electric.</strong></p>
<p>Whatever the entertainment programme being enjoyed, BMW i7 customers
  will be greeted by another unmistakeable sound experience in the form
  of BMW IconicSounds Electric. Pressing the Start/Stop button sparks an
  inspiring acoustic accompaniment that builds anticipation for the
  all-electric driving experience to come. This distinctive sound
  production is again the result of the collaboration between the BMW
  Group and Hans Zimmer. If desired, a drive sound developing a
  strikingly transparent timbre with spherical components delivers
  authentic feedback to every movement of the accelerator. The character
  of the sound alters according to the vehicle setting chosen with the
  My Modes button. This means that in SPORT mode, the car’s aural
  spectrum is more dominant and powerful.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Pure luxury and dynamic performance with zero emissions.</strong></p>
<p>Driving pleasure, passenger comfort and a luxurious ambience without
  compromise – and with zero local emissions: the first-ever BMW i7 has
  it all. Its fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology comprises highly
  integrated drive units at the front and rear axles that bring together
  the electric motor, power electronics and transmission within a
  single, very compact housing, plus the accompanying charging
  technology and high-voltage battery.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Control of the adaptive recuperation function has been further
  refined in the first-ever BMW i7 to increase range. The efficiency
  with which power is taken on board the first-ever BMW i7 and the
  durability of its high-voltage battery both benefit from the latest
  advances in the field of charging technology. Compared with the BMW iX
  and BMW i4 models, the charging software has undergone further
  improvement, the temperature of the high-voltage battery is controlled
  more precisely and there is also an innovative facility for saving
  charging profiles. In addition to this, the BMW Maps navigation system
  displays the charging-optimised route even faster and in even greater
  detail in the first-ever BMW i7.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Electric motors with no critical raw materials in the rotor.</strong></p>
<p>The electric motors work according to the principle of an
  electrically excited synchronous motor, where it is a precisely
  controllable electrical feed that sets the rotor in motion rather than
  fixed permanent magnets. This allows the use of critical rare earth
  metals (required for magnetic components) to be avoided altogether in
  the manufacture of the rotor.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The virtually silent power delivery of the first-ever BMW i7
  xDrive60, and the luxurious sense of driving comfort this instils, are
  further helped by improvements to the electric drive units’ acoustics,
  a model-specific mounting concept and newly developed noise
  encapsulation for the electric motors. The motor driving the rear
  wheels generates peak output of 230 kW/313 hp, while the unit at the
  front axle produces 190 kW/258 hp. The duo of drive units delivers a
  combined maximum output of 400 kW/544 hp and posts overall torque of
  745 Nm. All of which enables the first-ever BMW i7 xDrive60 to power
  from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.<br />
  <br /></p>
<p>The experience when accelerating is defined not just by the car’s
  electrifying, instantaneous power delivery, but also by its supreme
  traction and directional stability. Underpinning the majestic dynamic
  prowess of the first-ever BMW i7 xDrive60 are its electric all-wheel
  drive and its precisely tuned driving stability systems headlined by
  the near-actuator wheel slip limitation. The fully variable drive
  system is intelligently connected with the system of powertrain and
  chassis control functions, whose extremely quick and precise responses
  help to sustain thrilling forward momentum even in adverse road and
  weather conditions. The top speed of the first-ever BMW i7 xDrive60 is
  electronically limited to 240 km/h.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The outstanding efficiency of the current BMW eDrive technology
  translates into combined electric power consumption of 19.6 – 18.4 kWh
  per 100 kilometres in the WLTP test cycle. This enables the first-ever
  BMW i7 xDrive60 to post a range of 590 – 625 kilometres, likewise in
  the WLTP cycle. The green credentials of the car (VES Band A1) qualify
  it for the highest rebate of $25,000 in Singapore. The extensive
  standard specification, and a selection of wheels and tyres whose
  efficiency has been optimised across the full spectrum of available
  sizes, give customers plenty of scope when choosing optional extras
  without them having any notable impact on range.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The car’s impressive long-distance credentials are also down to the
  high-voltage battery’s excellent energy density. The extremely slim
  high-voltage battery with a cell height of just 110 millimetres is
  located low down in the vehicle floor and provides 101.7 kWh of usable energy.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>BMW Charging.</strong></p>
<p>In Singapore, BMW Group Asia is partnering with Shell to offer BMW i7
  customers either a comprehensive home or public charging package. For
  home charging, customers will receive a wall-mounted AC charger with
  complimentary installation service. For public charging, customers
  will receive a subscription package of 10,000 kWh for 3 years at Shell
  Recharge stations with no monthly cap for charging, which is
  equivalent to 50,000 km of driving range (assuming average energy
  consumption at 20kWh/100km).</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Combining BMW i design and reliability in the convenience of the
  customer’s home, the wall-mounted AC charger provides a fast way to
  charge their vehicle at a rate of up to 11kW. Once the vehicle is
  plugged in, charging begins and will end automatically when the
  battery is fully charged or has reached the pre-determined level. In
  addition, the first-ever BMW i7 is compatible with all Type 2 public
  charging stations that are widely available across the island.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>BMW Charging, a mobility service of BMW i, gives drivers access to
  one of the largest networks of public charging stations located in
  various office buildings, shopping malls, hotels and industrial parks
  in Singapore by using an RFID card and the Shell Recharge app that are
  already enabled for Shell Recharge stations. Payment of the electric
  current used is made via the Shell Recharge app.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>BMW i Pavilion @ ION Orchard.</strong></p>
<p>Intimate and eye-catching, the BMW i Pavilion provides the community
  with an opportunity to experience the latest BMW i vehicles, outside
  of the showroom, and learn first-hand why those looking to make the
  switch are turning to BMW as their electric individual mobility brand
  of choice.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>From 9 – 18 September, the first-ever BMW i7 will be exclusively
  available for private viewing at the BMW i Pavilion. Customers who are
  keen to see the car in the flesh (by appointment only) are welcome to
  speak with the representatives from Performance Motors Limited or
  Eurokars Auto, the official dealerships of BMW vehicles in Singapore.

<p>BMW is leading the luxury segment into a new era that will be
    shaped by innovations in the fields of sustainability and
    digitalisation. With the new BMW 7 Series, the world’s most
    successful manufacturer of premium vehicles is creating
    forward-looking ways to enjoy driving pleasure, unsurpassed
    long-distance comfort and a top-end digital experience. Central to
    this reinterpretation is the BMW i7. The all-electric luxury sedan
    is a fully integrated member of the model family and clearly
    demonstrates how an exclusive driving experience and the ultimate
    feeling of on-board wellbeing can be combined with an unwavering
    commitment to sustainability.</p>
<p>The generation change at the pinnacle of BMW’s model range is
    wrapped up in a new definition of luxury that focuses on the
    individual and their personal attitudes, needs and emotions. In
    addition to presence, elegance and exclusive premium quality, there
    is a progressive approach characterised by innovations that directly
    enhance the user experience, wide-ranging connectivity and
    standard-setting sustainability of the car. In this way, the new BMW
    7 Series has been designed to meet the needs of a modern target
    group that sees itself as committed to meeting challenges in a
    responsible manner – and one that views personal mobility as a way
    to experience unique moments in everyday life and on trips away.</p>
<p>
<strong>A symbol of innovative strength and a milestone in the
      current model offensive.</strong>
<br clear="all"/>The new BMW 7 Series incorporates a modern style
    that focuses on the essentials in its exterior and interior design.
    The front-end design for BMW vehicles in the luxury segment is
    dominated by features that are typical of the brand, but a clear
    distinction is maintained between these models and the others in the
    BMW range. Innovative features such as the BMW Theatre Screen, the
    multi-sensory vehicle experience BMW iDrive with the latest
    generation of BMW Operating System 8, plus the BMW Curved Display
    and the Manoeuvre Assistant for automated parking and manoeuvring,
    highlight the progressive character of the luxury sedan. In addition
    to the enhanced level of comfort and the unique in-car entertainment
    system, the Executive Lounge option for the rear with optimised
    reclining seat position and new BMW Individual Merino
    leather/cashmere wool interior trim takes a pioneering route to
    maximising wellbeing inside the car.</p>
<p>45 years on from the debut of the BMW 7 Series, the seventh model
    generation takes to the stage as the most advanced and innovative
    vehicle in the luxury segment. At the same time, the new edition
    captures the imagination with an overall design coherence unmatched
    by any rival. The BMW 7 Series is therefore once again a symbol of
    the BMW Group’s innovative strength.</p>
<p>The world premiere of the new BMW 7 Series in April 2022 and its
    global market launch starting in November 2022 are the key
    milestones in the brand’s current model offensive in the luxury segment.</p>
<p>
<strong>Market-specific drive system portfolio, tradition-rich
      production location.</strong>
<br clear="all"/>The new BMW 7 Series was designed from the ground
    up for particularly demanding target groups in a globalised
    marketplace. This is also reflected in a market-specific drive
    system portfolio that includes exclusive offerings for China – as
    the company’s most important sales region – and a diesel model for Europe.</p>
<p>The new generation of luxury sedans from BMW opens up a whole new
    dimension in spaciousness. Unlike its predecessors, the new BMW 7
    Series will be available worldwide exclusively as a long-wheelbase
    model that maximises space in the rear. Different facets of its
    character are defined by the use of specific design features and
    drive system variants. The new BMW 7 Series range also includes
    models from the BMW i and BMW M brands, which allow its myriad
    characteristics – from elegant, modern and sustainable to
    expressive, sporty and dynamic – to be brought prominently to the fore.</p>
<p>The new BMW 7 Series now offers a choice of combustion engines,
    plug-in hybrid systems and all-electric drive for the first time
    ever. The degree of diversity in the drive system portfolio is based
    on a newly developed flexible vehicle architecture and is an
    expression of a global model strategy for the new edition of the BMW
    7 Series. This enables the BMW Group to take into consideration a
    customer’s individual needs, infrastructure factors and legal
    regulations in all relevant automotive markets around the world. The
    market launch in Europe will initially feature only the BMW i7. In
    the USA, China and other selected sales regions, two models will be
    offered at market launch in addition to the all-electric variant,
    each equipped with a petrol engine and 48V mild hybrid technology.</p>
<p>Plug-in hybrid variants of the new BMW 7 Series are expected to
    follow in numerous markets from the beginning of 2023. These will
    include the first BMW M model with a six-cylinder in-line petrol
    engine and plug-in hybrid drive system. A model variant with a
    diesel engine and 48V mild hybrid technology will be added to the
    range in Europe just after the market launch. Further variants of
    the all-electric BMW i7, including the future top-of-the-line BMW i7
    M70 xDrive, will be made available at a later stage.</p>
<p>As was the case with all its predecessors, the new BMW 7 Series
    will be built at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing. The company’s largest
    production facility in Europe will be fusing tradition with the
    future and is also the BMW Group’s centre of excellence for the
    production of e-drive components. The highly integrated electric
    drive system and the high-voltage battery of the BMW i7 will also be
    manufactured there. Vehicles with combustion engines, plug-in hybrid
    systems and all-electric drive systems will come off the same
    production line in Dingolfing. In addition to the all-electric BMW
    iX and the new BMW 7 Series, the BMW 8 Series luxury sports car and
    BMW 5 Series models, among others, are also produced here.</p>

<strong>Two BMW M models based on the new BMW 7 Series.</strong>
<br clear="all"/>The new BMW 7 Series model range worldwide will
    expand to include two BMW M models equipped with electrified drive
    systems. The new BMW M760e xDrive (fuel consumption combined:
    1.2 – 1.1 l/100 km [235.4 – 256.8 mpg imp]; electric power
    consumption combined: 26.9 – 25.8 kWh/100 km;
    CO2 emissions: 28 – 25 g/km in the WLTP cycle; figures in
    NEDC cycle: –) has output of 420 kW/571 hp and torque of 800 Nm (590
    lb-ft) and will debut as early as spring 2023. Its electric motor
    generates a temporary boost worth an extra 30 kW/40 hp when
    particularly invigorating acceleration is the order of the day. An
    M-specific design for the exterior and interior, including an
    exhaust system featuring the distinctive twin tailpipes with unique
    geometry, underscores the performance characteristics of the BMW M
    model with plug-in hybrid technology.</p>
<p>The future flagship model, the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive (power
    consumption combined in the WLTP cycle: 26.4 – 21.2 kWh/100 km;
    CO2 emissions: 0 g/km; figures in NEDC cycle: – ), will
    have an all-electric drive system with two motors – on the front and
    rear axle – and will be available later in 2023. Its drive system
    generates maximum output of well over 600 hp and maximum torque of
    more than 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). The most powerful BMW model ever
    registered for road use accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in
    under 4.0 seconds. (All output, performance and energy consumption
    figures for the BMW i7 M70 xDrive are estimates based on the car’s
    current development stage incl. temporary boost.)</p>

<strong>Unique digital experience with the new vehicle experience
      BMW iDrive and BMW Operating System 8.</strong>
<br clear="all"/>Driving pleasure, long-distance comfort and the
    user experience in the new BMW 7 Series are shaped largely by the
    latest innovations in the field of digitalisation. The new BMW 7
    Series offers customers the new multi-sensory vehicle experience BMW
    iDrive with the latest generation of BMW Operating System 8. With
    the fully digital BMW Curved Display, the innovative BMW Interaction
    Bar, the enhanced capabilities of the BMW Intelligent Personal
    Assistant – plus additional My Modes, the latest version of the BMW
    Head-Up Display, and the Augmented View function available for the
    first time on the information display behind the steering wheel –
    intuitive dialogue between the driver and vehicle has reached a new level.</p>
<p>Passengers in the rear are greeted by a unique entertainment
    offering in the form of the new BMW Theatre Screen – a 31.3-inch
    panoramic display in 32:9 format with 8K resolution which extends
    downwards from the roof and transforms the second row of seats into
    an exclusive private cinema on wheels. The driver and front
    passenger can also use YouTube video-on-demand streaming on the
    control display for the first time. A 5G-compatible aerial system
    takes care of high-speed connectivity in the new BMW 7 Series.</p>
<p>
<strong>Security redefined: the new BMW 7 Series in BMW Protection
      Vehicle specification.</strong>
<br clear="all"/>A high-security vehicle based on the new BMW 7
    Series is now being developed and will be added to the range in the
    course of 2023. With its integrated protection concept, which is
    unique in the segment and has been developed entirely from scratch,
    the armoured model variant meets the special requirements of
    authorities, state representatives and high-profile individuals in
    need of special protection.</p>
<p>The development of the new high-security BMW 7 Series centres on an
    innovative protection concept developed by the BMW Group. This
    provides extremely high standards of security combined with the
    levels of interior comfort, driving dynamics and ride comfort
    applied across the new BMW 7 Series range. Integrated development
    and production in a special manufacturing process at BMW Group Plant
    Dingolfing will ensure the high-security vehicle based on the new
    BMW 7 Series sets new standards.</p></div>
