                        <title>New look, new attitude, new era: The new MINI family now available in Singapore.</title>

  <strong>Singapore.</strong> Since the global relaunch of the brand at
  the turn of the millennium, the MINI has not only developed into a
  premium vehicle, but it has also reinvented itself time and again
  without neglecting its own origins and tradition. This constant
  development and the ability to regularly set new trends have
  established a large fan base for MINI worldwide and in Singapore. Now,
  MINI is presenting two of its most important models – the all-new MINI
  Cooper and all-new MINI Countryman. The two models will be available
  with all-electric drivetrains – a first for the MINI Countryman – as
  well as innovative and efficient petrol engines.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“The new MINI family is finally here, and it delivers pure charisma
  and premium refinement in spades,” said Mr. Daren Ching, Head of MINI
  Asia. The availability of all-electric drivetrains across both the
  all-new MINI Cooper and all-new MINI Countryman range enable drivers
  to enjoy sustainable motoring in style. With these urban companions,
  we are go-karting towards the future with big love and maximising
  experiences with a responsible attitude.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“In Singapore, the heart of MINI beats stronger than ever,” said Ms.
  Cheryl Chiok, Managing Director, Eurokars Habitat. “Now with the
  all-new MINI Cooper E being a Category A COE model, and seven
  different model variants to choose from, our customers have many
  options to display their flair and individuality like never before –
  all while staying true to the inventive and unique spirit of MINI.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The hallmark MINI creative use of space offers maximum flexibility as
  well as enabling a high degree of variability in terms of interior
  design. The round OLED display, the MINI Interaction Unit, is both an
  instrument cluster as well as the centre of experiences and comfort.
  Textile surfaces revolutionise the aesthetic appeal of the interior by
  reducing it to the essentials and adding a new level of well-being and warmth.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>The exterior: ‘Charismatic Simplicity’.</strong></p>
<p>The new MINI family takes driving fun, the user experience, and the
  responsible attitude of the brand into a new era, a comprehensive
  transformation that is reflected in the new design language
  “Charismatic Simplicity”. This combines the traditional MINI values
  with progressive innovations in a particularly authentic way, reducing
  the vehicle design to the essentials. The new models of the MINI
  family share a purist design that takes equal account of the urban
  character of MINI and the innovative spirit of the MINI community.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Short overhangs, a short bonnet, a long wheelbase, and big wheels –
  the proportions of the new model generation are typical MINI. The
  visual three-part division into the vehicle body, the surrounding
  window area and the contrasting roof also ensures the new MINI models
  are instantly recognisable. The surfaces of the all-electric MINI
  Cooper and MINI Countryman look particularly exciting thanks to the
  integrative treatment of details. Flush door handles, the absence of
  fender flares and side scuttles underline the clear and modern overall
  impression in the all-electric models. The front end of the all-new
  MINI Cooper and the all-new MINI Countryman is defined by the
  expressive contour of the new octagonal front grille.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The daytime running light elements of the LED lights support this
  striking look with fresh radiance due to unique light signatures. All
  light modes start and end with a specially orchestrated welcome and
  goodbye animation. This interaction with the vehicle increases the
  anticipation of the MINI even before you set off.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new MINI aesthetic also gives the rear section a new,
  contemporary feel, featuring clear surfaces, and flush rear lights.
  The vertical light clusters quote the classic MINI lights and can be
  switched to different modes in the same way as the front headlights.
  The third brake light and rear fog light are integrated flush into the
  rear design, emphasising the high quality of the sculptured modern
  rear section. A defined shoulder section produces a particularly
  powerful look.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>The interior: digital, immersive, & warm.</strong></p>
<p>In the interior, the design of the front section harks back to the
  elegantly minimalist design of the classic Mini. A round instrument
  cluster in the centre and a characteristic toggle bar below in
  combination with the steering with structure the interior with its
  maximum purist design.  </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Underneath the dashboard, the design of the all-new MINI Countryman
  is particularly tidy in appearance and steeped in history. The design
  of the newly configured toggle bar quotes the various functions with
  five individually designed toggle switches. This makes the most
  important driving functions (parking brake, gear selector, start/stop
  key, experience mode toggle, volume control) directly accessible. At
  the same time it eliminates the gear selector in the centre console
  generating space for practical and spacious storage options.
  Smartphones can be charged in the wireless charging area at the front
  of the console and are easier to find thanks to the central storage area.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>In line with the consistent reduction in the interior, the new
  contemporary colour and material concept is deliberately minimalist,
  too. The dashboard and door panels with knitted surfaces made of
  recycled polyester create a pleasant atmosphere while at the same time
  setting specific accentuations with their two-tone design. Three
  different trims – Classic, Favoured, and JCW – serve the purpose of
  differentiation, each giving the new MINI its own distinct character.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Starting with the Classic Trim, the three-spoke steering wheel sports
  a new textile strap in the six o´clock spoke. In addition, MINI uses a
  modern 2D knitted textile in the interior of a production vehicle for
  the first time. On the dashboard and doors, two-tone black and blue
  knitted textile provides a fascinating contrast to the high-quality
  synthetic leather seat. The latter is available in black featuring a
  perforated houndstooth pattern, while the side contrasts in blue textile.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <a name="_Hlk171939167"></a>The modern, high-quality Favoured Trim is
  the most expressive option. The perforated synthetic leather seats
  made of Vescin complement the extravagant interior in dark and light.
  The exterior with the front grille in Vibrant Silver can be combined
  in a particularly apt way with the roof. The storage box in the centre
  console also comes with a knitted surface and a textile strap as standard.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The JCW Trim offers an interpretation of the new material concept
  that lends maximum emphasis to sporty flair. The JCW seat with sports
  seat geometry and additional lateral support noticeably enhances
  comfort. Combined with multi-coloured knitted textile and black
  synthetic leather with red stitching, the colour concept echoes the
  design of the dashboard and door trim. A distinct front and rear
  design likewise highlights the racing DNA of the trim in the exterior,
  with the vehicle grille and logo in high-gloss black underlining the
  powerful overall impression.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>MINI connects: the new MINI Operating System 9.</strong></p>
<p>The new “Charismatic Simplicity” design language is also reflected in
  the aesthetic of the user interface, which brings together functional
  and emotional elements. The reduced design uses new graphics to create
  an extremely modern look. Static and dynamic elements blend naturally
  into the circular form of the OLED display, following a clear
  structure. Micro-animations enhance the already extremely intuitive
  interaction between the driver and central instrument and underscore
  the digital character of the new MINI family.</p>
<p>
  <strong> </strong></p>
<p>MINI Operating System 9 is an in-house development by the BMW Group
  and is based on an Android Open Source Project (AOSP) software stack.
  Operation is intuitive and follows the standards familiar with
  consumer electronics.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>At the centre of the screen is the start menu, where personalised
  content can be selected and launched by swiping to the side. In the
  lower section of the screen is the fixed status bar containing the
  menu items “Navigation”, “Media”, “Telephony”, “All Apps” and,
  depending on the situation, “Home”, which can be selected directly.
  Swiping up from the lower edge of the screen reveals a tool belt, a
  process customers will be familiar with from many consumer electronics
  devices. Favourite functions can be stored here and called up again
  rapidly, i. e. navigation destinations and radio stations. The tool
  belt can also be activated via the star button on the multifunction
  steering wheel. The upper screen area is reserved for driving-relevant
  content such as the vehicle speed and important information on the
  vehicle status. The Head-up display shows the most important
  information for the driver in their field of view.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The temperature for the driver and front passenger is permanently
  displayed on the left- and right-hand edge of the screen. The climate
  control settings are integrated into the MINI Interaction Unit and can
  always be adjusted on the top layer by touch or voice command.
  Depending on the Experience Mode selected, a single tap on the speed
  display transforms the entire MINI Interaction Unit into a
  MINI-typical speedometer.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>When driving, the standard MINI Navigation Package provides support
  in the form of realistic 3D visualisations in complicated turning
  situations, display of the current traffic situation even without
  activated route guidance, information on parking options and much
  more. In addition, an augmented reality function is available for the
  visualisation of turn-by-turn directions. A charge-optimised route can
  be calculated for the all-electric MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman
  immediately after entering the destination.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>MINI Interaction Unit: High-Res OLED display revolutionises
    the user experience.</strong></p>
<p>The central OLED display sets a new benchmark with its high
  resolution and, for the first time, its round shape. The centre icon
  is the defining feature of the interior, extending the classic round
  instrument of the predecessor model with the addition of a completely
  new feel and versatile functions. As an instrument cluster, the MINI
  Interaction Unit is a centre of both experience and comfort. Thanks to
  the MINI Operating System 9, all vehicle functions can be operated
  intuitively via touch or voice. In the redesigned cockpit, the display
  is moved closer to both front seats and is particularly easy to reach.
  The diameter of the thin touch display with a high-quality glass edge
  and a diameter of 240 mm is reminiscent of the usual smartphone
  standards in its operating logic.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The graphic presentation of the content is modern and focuses on the
  essentials. The upper area contains relevant vehicle-related
  information such as speed and battery status. When the speed indicator
  is pressed, a large, striking display with full-screen speedometer
  appears that puts a clear focus on driving. In the Home menu, the
  other widgets are displayed in thumbnail view to the left and right of
  the current menu function. They can be brought up and selected by
  swiping horizontally to the centre. In the lower area of the OLED
  display, the menu items Navigation, Media, Phone and Climate can be
  selected directly at any time. All other functions can be accessed via
  the menu in the same way as on a smartphone. The display returns to
  the default setting via the home button.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>“Hey MINI!”: the first MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant.</strong></p>
<p>Numerous functions can be controlled using the brand’s first ever
  fully-fledged voice assistant. The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant
  can be activated with the greeting “Hey MINI” or by using the
  push-to-talk steering wheel button. Voice-controlled interaction takes
  place on the round OLED display in the form of an animation of graphic
  elements, typography and an avatar. In order to ensure smoother
  communication, oral utterances are transmitted instantly and
  visualised on the display. In this way, it is possible to control
  navigation, telephony, entertainment and numerous other vehicle
  functions by simply speaking the relevant command.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>A whole new MINI experience: the new MINI Experience Modes.</strong></p>
<p>For the first time, the MINI Experience Modes transmit the driving
  fun that is typical of the brand by digital and visual means, too. Up
  to seven MINI Experience Modes bring the dashboard to life. Special
  light projections extend the colours of the round instrument across
  the dashboard, expanding the overall experience of the user interface
  in the interior. Each mode has specially designed backgrounds that
  convey a vibrant and high-quality effect by means of subtle movements
  while remaining as distraction-free as possible. When one of the seven
  modes is selected, the display focuses on a relevant “Mode App”. In
  Go-Kart Mode there is a highly dynamic focus on MINI’s racing DNA, for
  example. The display and the interior as a whole feature the colours
  anthracite and red, while specific analogue displays for driving
  dynamics complement this MINI Experience Mode inspired by John Cooper
  Works. Vivid Mode draws on the colours of the album cover for the
  ambient lighting. Core Mode, Green Mode, Timeless Mode, Balance Mode
  and Personal Mode are also available for selection according to mood
  and personal needs. Trail mode, which focuses on the driver's desire
  to discover, is unique for the MINI Countryman.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>What is more, these immersive driving experiences are enhanced by
  means of completely newly created acoustic worlds consisting of
  digital MINI Sounds. The repertoire includes an unmistakable MINI
  brand sound as a mark of identification and jingles for the new MINI
  Experience Modes, as well as a collection of new sound signals to
  denote information and warning functions. These so-called earcons
  serve a similar purpose to visual icons in that they act as clearly
  established symbols for certain events or information. Some 30 of
  these sound signals have been newly created – from the acoustic
  accompaniment of the turn signals and the seat belt warning system.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>The all-electric MINI Cooper: the reinvention of the original.</strong></p>
<p>Going into its fifth model generation, the MINI Cooper 3-door still
  embodies the core of the brand. Within the new MINI family, “Cooper”
  refers to all MINI 3-door and 5-door models. It is no longer used as
  an engine specification.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The classic round headlights and the new striking octagonal front
  grille with its filigree contour defines the front section even more
  powerfully than its hexagonal predecessor. As with the body design as
  a whole, the front headlights are not framed with chrome elements
  anymore. This results in the front section having a focused expression
  supported by the vehicle’s track width and the dynamic indentation at
  the wheel arches. A striking black handle strip divides the rear
  section, its horizontal orientation highlighting the vehicle’s broad
  stance and the sporty flair that this conveys.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The side view of the all-new MINI Cooper also conveys greater
  reduction and clarity. For the first time, the model appears without a
  circumferential Black Band. Reducing the number of components places
  the body colour more at the centre of interest, thereby ensuring a
  powerful presence. Black sills visually move the all-new MINI Cooper
  closer to the road. The vehicle combines a modern take on the hallmark
  MINI design with outstanding aerodynamic properties. The cd figure of
  0.28 is outstanding for the small car segment and makes the MINI
  extremely efficient.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>The </strong>
  <strong>minimalist interior</strong>
  <strong>.</strong></p>
<p>The clear lines and generous space in the front seats give the
  interior a modern, airy feel. In the dark, the side lighting is based
  on the ambient light, thereby contributing to a distinctive interior
  atmosphere. JCW Sports Seats are available for the all-new MINI Cooper
  SE, with door panels that are laminated with high-quality textile
  covering the adjustment buttons. The armrest, mounted on the driver’s
  seat, provides even more space in the centre console. The rear of the
  vehicle offers maximum reduction and comfort, while the loading
  accessories can be conveniently stowed in an additional underfloor
  storage facility in the luggage compartment. By folding down the rear
  seat in a 60:40 ratio, the luggage compartment can be flexibly
  expanded from 200 litres to provide a volume of up to 800 litres.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Enhanced go-kart feeling thanks to electrified drivetrain technology.</strong></p>
<p>The 110 kW/146 hp electric motor of the all-new MINI Cooper E
  generates a torque of 290 Nm, accelerating the vehicle from standstill
  to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds. With an output of 160 kW/212 hp, the
  all-new MINI Cooper SE sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds with
  a maximum torque of 330 Nm. The range determined according to the WLTP
  test cycle is up to 305 kilometres for the all-new MINI Cooper E based
  on the high-voltage battery with 40.7 kWh of capacity. In the all-new
  MINI Cooper SE, the calculated range increases to a maximum of 402
  kilometres due to a battery capacity of 54.2 kWh.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The battery of the all-new MINI Cooper can be charged via alternating
  current with 11 kW. Fast charging with direct current is possible in
  the all-new MINI Cooper E with 75 kW and in the all-new MINI Cooper SE
  with up to 95 kW. At a fast charging station, this allows the battery
  to be charged from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just under 30 minutes.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Excellent driving dynamics for comfortable and sporty mobility.</strong></p>
<p>A slightly increased track width and wheelbase provide the basis for
  excellent driving dynamics. The vehicle is fitted with a suspension
  and damping system that is tuned for spirited handling. Combined with
  the precise steering feel typical of MINI, powerful brakes and a low
  centre of gravity thanks to the high-voltage battery installed in the
  floor, the all-new MINI Cooper enhances day-to-day convenience.</p>
<p>With highly preloaded stabiliser mounts on the axles, the driver
  experiences a significantly improved body response during dynamic
  cornering as well as a valuable gain in steering precision and
  accuracy. The result is excellent body support combined with smooth
  rolling comfort. The all-new MINI Cooper is also equipped with a strut
  brace for an even sportier driving experience.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>With its tyre diameter increased to 635 mm, the all-new MINI Cooper
  has a more powerful visual presence, while at the same time offering
  improved driving dynamic performance and comfort. The precise set-up
  of steering and all driving stability control systems, to ensure both
  comfortable and sporty driving, guarantees an exceptional experience
  in all driving situations.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Innovative and efficient petrol engine.</strong></p>
<p>With an output of 150kW/198 hp, the four-cylinder engine of the
  all-new MINI Cooper S accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 6.6 seconds
  with a maximum torque of 300Nm.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>The all-new MINI Countryman: all-electric and adventurous. </strong></p>
<p>The all-new MINI Countryman combines locally emission-free electric
  mobility with the highest possible level of environmental
  compatibility in production as well. This includes dispensing with all
  chrome decorative elements in the exterior and interior as well as
  manufacturing the light alloy cast wheels from up to 70 per cent
  secondary aluminium. In combination with the fact that green
  electricity is used for production, it has been possible to reduce
  CO2 emissions compared to conventional manufacturing
  processes. In addition, no rare earths are needed for the production
  of the efficient and permanently current-excited synchronous motors.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The surfaces, the inside of the doors and the vehicle floor and floor
  mats are made of recycled polyester. This high-quality, colourful and
  comfortable alternative to traditional materials significantly reduces
  CO2 emissions along the value chain and uses less water in
  production than cotton.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>The exterior design: expressive minimalism with character.</strong></p>
<p>Higher, longer, MINI – with an additional six centimetres in height
  and thirteen centimetres in length, the all-new MINI Countryman has
  grown noticeably compared to its predecessor, offering even more space
  and comfort. Wider wheel arches and a clear, modern design enhance the
  crossover aesthetic appeal of the rugged MINI adventurer.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>In addition, the new design of the MINI Countryman embraces improved
  aerodynamics in order to achieve environmentally friendly consumption
  figures based on this aspect of the vehicle as well. The result is an
  impressive cd value of 0.26 for the all-new MINI Countryman – compared
  to 0.31 in the predecessor model.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Together with the tautly curved bonnet, the slightly wider track and
  the raised body, the most versatile MINI exudes superior robustness.
  Viewed from the side, the all-new MINI Countryman has a minimalist
  appearance with a powerful presence. The circumferential Black Band is
  narrower than on the predecessor. The distinctive design of the
  C-pillar supports the roofline at the rear of the vehicle while at the
  same time making it appear shorter. This makes the entire vehicle body
  look more upright, emphasising the character of the all-new MINI Countryman.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>The interior: individual, multifunctional and full of
    high-level comfort. </strong></p>
<p>In the interior, the versatile all-new MINI Countryman is the largest
  and most spacious MINI model available thanks to its high degree of
  adaptability. The increased body size provides additional headroom and
  legroom, expanding the space options in the compact premium Crossover.
  The Favoured Trim gives the all-new MINI Countryman a distinctive character.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The dashboard in the all-new MINI Countryman works entirely without
  an additional display behind the steering wheel: all relevant content
  is projected onto the head-up display. This reduction to the
  essentials opens up the view to the front, shaping the spacious
  interior with cleverly designed, high-quality components. The entire
  interior is divided into an upper and lower section along a horizontal
  line below the new round instrument. Above this, all design elements
  such as the air vents and door handles are vertically aligned,
  emphasising the character of the vehicle, also in the interior.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The driver and front passenger enjoy significantly enhanced comfort
  in the all-new MINI Countryman, with almost three centimetres of
  additional width in the shoulder and elbow area. The shoulder width of
  the rear seats has also been increased by 2.5 centimetres.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The sport seats are available in the all-new MINI Countryman SE, and
  the all-new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, with electric seat
  adjustment with memory function standard across the entire all-new
  MINI Countryman range. Between the front seats, the wide, adjustable
  central armrest enhances the seating comfort.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>With the rear seat folded down, even bulky items can be easily
  transported in the 460-litre to 1,450-litre luggage compartment. An
  additional floor compartment provides convenient space for the
  charging accessories of the all-electric MINI Countryman.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Electrified go-kart feeling based on progressive drivetrain technology.</strong></p>
<p>The all-new MINI Countryman enables locally emission-free mobility
  and all-electric driving fun. The completely renewed powertrain and
  increased electric range provide the option to go on excursions beyond
  the city limits – with two powerful electric motors. Fully electric,
  the vehicle is available in the all-new MINI Countryman E variant with
  increased output while all-wheel drive comes as standard on the
  all-new MINI Countryman SE ALL4.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The 150 kW/198 hp electric motor in the all-new MINI Countryman E
  achieves 250 Nm of torque, accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in
  8.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 170 km/h. With 230 kW/304 hp,
  the electric motors in the all-wheel-drive MINI Countryman SE ALL4
  achieve a combined torque of 494 Nm, accelerate the vehicle from 0 to
  100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 km/h. The
  powerful battery has an energy capacity of 66.5 kWh. The range
  determined according to the WLTP test cycle is up to 462 kilometres
  for the all-new MINI Countryman E and up to 433 kilometres for the
  all-new MINI Countryman SE ALL4.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The battery of the all-new MINI Countryman can be charged via
  alternating current with 11 kW. Fast charging with direct current is
  possible in both all-electric models with 130 kW. This means that just
  under 30 minutes of charging at a fast charging station is enough to
  charge the battery from 10 per cent to 80 per cent.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Excellent driving dynamics for comfortable and sporty mobility.</strong></p>
<p>A slightly increased track width and enlarged wheelbase provide the
  basis for excellent driving dynamics. Even the basic chassis of the
  all-new MINI Countryman conveys a sense of sporty flair with the
  typical MINI go-kart feeling. As standard, the model features a
  high-quality, precisely tuned damping system combined with highly
  preloaded stabilisers. The latter provide an additional gain in
  steering precision and accuracy while at the same time ensuring sound
  roll support.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“Precisely tuned” means that the entire set of components from axles,
  steering and dampers through to ride and stability control systems go
  together to create an exceptional experience in all situations in
  terms of comfortable and sporty driving. The all-new MINI Countryman
  transmits a very direct steering wheel feel with a rack ratio of 55 mm
  of rack travel per turn of the steering wheel.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The ALL4 all-wheel drive system provides a noticeable increase in
  traction, safety, driving stability, and agility. Thanks to its fast
  and precise electronic control, the power is distributed between the
  front and rear wheels as needed under all road and weather conditions.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The integrated braking system further contributes to the car’s
  excellent driving dynamics and controllability. A crisp, secure
  feeling when braking increases the dynamics and precision of the
  vehicle due to reliable stabilisation. In conjunction with the Driving
  Assistant package, shorter braking distances increase safety. The
  customer can choose between a balanced and comfortable chassis
  configuration or a particularly sporty one, depending on the preferred
  individual driving experience.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>In addition to the 360-degree Parking View, the all-new MINI
  Countryman is able to identify possible parking spaces more clearly
  thanks to 12 ultrasonic sensors and four Surround View cameras.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>The all-new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman.</strong></p>
<p>The MINI John Cooper Works models have always been known for their
  exhilarating performance. With its 2.0-litrce four-cylinder engine,
  the all-new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman embodies this
  unmistakable driving experience. The John Cooper Works logo has also
  been redesigned with a modern, clearcut look. For the first time, the
  logo is being used on the all-new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman in
  the classic black, red, and white colour scheme.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Exceptional performance makes dynamic driving a joy.</strong></p>
<p>The standard all-wheel drive system distributes its power precisely
  and reliably in every driving situation. The characteristic sound of
  the exhaust flap system also makes the all-new MINI John Cooper Works
  Countryman instantly recognisable as a high-performance model. Inside,
  the engine sound generated in real time enhances the emotional driving experience.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Optimised pistons, connecting rods, and engine mounts extract maximum
  power from the two-litre turbo engine. An advanced, dual-drive exhaust
  turbocharger supercharges the engine. Together with the dethrottled
  air intake to the combustion chamber, this enables the all-new MINI
  John Cooper Works Countryman to generate beefy performance and
  delivers an even more dynamic driving experience in every bend. The
  tyre diameter, which has been increased by 30 mm, is now 710 mm and
  the increased tyre width of 245 mm enhances the typical MINI go-kart
  feeling. Aerodynamically optimsed 20-inch wheels exclusive to JCW
  round off the extensive range.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The Adaptive Suspension with 15 mm lowering and frequency-selective
  dampers is available in the all-new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman.
  This has a purely mechanical chassis that adapts to road conditions
  and offers significant added value in terms of simultaneous vehicle control.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Great stature on any terrain.</strong></p>
<p>The all-new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman has a bold and sporty
  look that reflects its performance and versatility. The exterior
  features a number of model-specific details that enhance its overall
  appearance. For example, the aerodynamic elements with vertical
  reflectors on the front of the car emphasise its wide stance, while
  the new MINI LED headlights with horizontal bars in JCW Signature Mode
  give the crossover a more expressive look. The front end is also
  characterised by the newly designed octagonal grille in high-gloss
  black and the newly designed three-colour JCW logo.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The newly designed C-pillar seamlessly joins the contrasting roof in
  motorsport-inspired Chili Red. The roof curves down towards the rear,
  giving the all-new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman an agile
  silhouette despite its increased height and width. At the rear, the
  upright John Cooper Works Signature Mode tail lights frame the upright
  vehicle body and underline the increased width.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Minimalist interior features racing DNA.</strong></p>
<p>The red and black colour scheme at the dashboard, along the door
  panels and on the high-grade JCW sport seats, is a nod to MINI’s
  racing heritage.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Progressive drivetrain technology.</strong></p>
<p>With a two-litre seven-speed Sport Dual Clutch Transmission, the
  all-new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman has an output of 221kW/292hp
  and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 5.4 seconds, with a maximum
  torque of 400Nm.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new MINI family is available for viewing at MINI Pitstop by
  Eurokars Habitat, #01-08 One Holland Village, 7 Holland Village Way,
  Singapore 275748.</p>

  <strong>Singapore. </strong>MINI Asia and Eurokars Habitat today
  presented the MINI Concept Aceman at the Singapore Motorshow 2024,
  Singapore’s largest annual motoring event held at Suntec City
  Convention Centre (MINI – Level 4, Booth 116). The concept car is an
  initial preview of MINI’s future model generation’s new design. The
  first MINI crossover model for the premium small car segment comes
  with purely electric drive and a clear and pared-back design language
  that has been dubbed “Charismatic Simplicity”, along with a new
  digital interior space experience and a material concept which uses
  absolutely no leather or chrome.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“It gives me great pleasure to introduce the MINI Concept Aceman for
  the very first time in Southeast Asia,” said Mr. Daren Ching, Head of
  MINI Asia. “The MINI Concept Aceman bridges the space between the MINI
  Cooper and the MINI Countryman, and ushers in a new generation of MINI
  with an all-electric future. The MINI spirit perseveres in the go-kart
  thrill behind the wheel, an immersive digital experience, and a strong
  focus on minimal environmental footprint. It is exhilarating to kick
  off my first full year with the brand with such an electrifying
  showcase, and I am excited for everyone to discover the MINI Concept Aceman.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“We are ecstatic to be back at the Singapore Motorshow and able to
  display well-loved models like the MINI One 5-Door and the MINI John
  Cooper Works 3-Door,” added Ms. Cheryl Chiok, Managing Director of
  Eurokars Habitat. “From everything you know and love about MINI to the
  dynamic motor sport essence of John Cooper, there is something for
  every fan and friend of the brand.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>MINI Concept Aceman.</strong></p>
<p>The clear and reduced exterior and interior design of the MINI
  Concept Aceman heralds the beginning of a new design era for MINI.
  Distinctive features of the brand’s two most successful models, the
  MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman, come together to create a modern
  interpretation of a crossover model. At 4.05 metres long, 1.99 metres
  wide, and 1.59 metres tall, the functional two-box design with short
  overhands create maximum space for occupants and luggage on a minimal
  surface area. Chrome trimmings common in earlier model generations are
  dispensed with, while strongly contoured wheel arches with large
  wheels and a striking roof rack emphasise the characteristics of a
  crossover model for urban driving fun. Flat and geometrically modelled
  surfaces feature from the bonnet to the wheel arches, expressing
  clarity in the new MINI design style.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Interior: MINImalism redefined.</strong></p>
<p>Moving to the interior, a holistic experience is offered through a
  simplistic design appearance with the combination of premium materials
  and welcoming colours. Digitalisation enables few operating elements
  to maximise the experience that makes it characteristically a MINI.
  The flat dashboard styled like a sound bar extends across the entire
  width of the interior in front of the driver and front passenger’s
  seats. Its soft knitted textile surfaces create a modern and homey
  atmosphere, while the dashboard is connected via a support structure
  displaying the Union Jack pattern, an homage to the brand’s British roots.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Innovative user interface in the form of a circular OLED display.</strong></p>
<p>The central interface combines all the functions of the instrument
  cluster and the on-board monitor as a round OLED display, with a
  toggle switch bar set below the large screen. The redesigned toggle
  switches operate the parking brake, select gears, activate and
  deactivate the drive, select Experience Modes, and adjust the audio
  system volume. The Circular OLED display takes up the entire surface
  of the central interface, making MINI the world’s first car
  manufacturer to present such technology. Moving image projections can
  transfer control system content to the entire dashboard, creating a
  unique digital experience extending right onto the door panels.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Three new Experience Modes for a complete vehicle experience.</strong></p>
<p>Innovative Experience Modes combine specific displays and colour
  worlds to individualise and personalise the driving experience in the
  interior of the MINI Concept Aceman. Personal Mode allows the user to
  transfer an image motif of their choice to the OLED display, while
  Pop-Up Mode provides eventful navigation with surprising moments.
  Vivid Mode enables an interactive design of the display area on the
  OLED display and the adjacent surfaces, providing an innovative
  entertainment function that can be used during short breaks when
  stopping at traffic lights and charging the high-voltage battery.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>A touch of the display creates coloured ‘letter bubbles’ from the
  components of the ‘Aceman’ lettering. Lighting and sound come together
  for a flowing transition before the start of your journey for a
  holistic and interactive experience, and an exterior light show with
  an interactive sound emanating from the exterior loudspeakers welcomes
  the user as they approach the MINI Concept Aceman. A colourful graphic
  image is projected onto the floor in the entry area in a welcome
  scenario, completed by the words ‘Hey Friend’ on the display.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>MINI at the Motorshow. </strong></p>
<p>Customers can make an appointment with the sales consultants on site
  for a test drive at the Eurokars Habitat showroom on a separate day. A
  wide range of the MINI Lifestyle Collection are on display, with up to
  20% off on exclusive MINI merchandise. Customers who purchase a MINI
  at the Singapore Motorshow 2024 will receive complimentary 7 years’
  worth of warranty and servicing, MINI Advanced Car Eye Pro, and more.</p>

  <strong>Singapore. </strong>BMW Group Asia first began its
  electromobility journey back in 2014 with the groundbreaking BMW i3
  and BMW i8. Today, nine years and five generations of BMW eDrive
  technology later, the company broadens its portfolio of fully electric
  vehicles (EVs) with the new BMW i4 eDrive35.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“The BMW i4 brings electrification to the heart of the BMW brand,”
  said Mr. Lars Nielsen, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia. “It is the
  perfect companion for those who value practicality, performance, and
  poise, all in one sustainable package. Electromobility is gaining
  traction in Singapore as the charging infrastructure develops and
  OEMs, such as BMW, continue to offer more EV options. We strongly
  encourage customers who are considering an EV to get behind the wheel
  – whether it be the BMW i4, i7 or iX3, once you’ve experienced the
  true essence of what a fully electric BMW stands for, there is no
  turning back.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new BMW i4 eDrive35 expands the BMW i4 family that currently
  consists of the highly successful BMW i4 M50 (best-selling BMW M
  vehicle globally in 2022) and BMW i4 eDrive40. The new BMW i4 eDrive35
  comes with all the latest technology – from the efficient electric
  powertrain found in models such as the BMW iX and its BMW i4 siblings,
  to the BMW Curved Display with Operating System 8.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new BMW i4 eDrive35 is produced at the BMW Group Munich plant and
  with this new model, the share of fully electric cars will reach 50%
  of the total production volume there in 2023. Including the new BMW i4
  eDrive35, the BMW Group portfolio of fully electric cars covers six
  model lines with 10 powertrain derivatives in total. The BMW Group is
  aiming for fully electric vehicles to account for 50% of its global
  sales by 2030.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>BMW Group Asia offerings in Singapore.</strong></p>
<p>Today, there are a total of six fully electric models in four
  different body styles that cater to all lifestyles:</p>
<ul>
  <li>
    <strong>Gran Coupé</strong>: BMW i4, BMW i4 M50</li>
  <li>
    <strong>Sedan: </strong>BMW i7</li>
  <li>
    <strong>Sports Activity Vehicle: </strong>BMW iX3, BMW iX</li>
  <li>
    <strong>3-Door Hatch</strong>: MINI Electric</li></ul>
<p> </p>
<p>This is just the beginning of the company’s electric model offensive.
  With the upcoming BMW i5 sedan, keen drivers will be treated to a car
  that is more dynamic and comfortable than ever. It also boasts a fresh
  interpretation of its signature elegantly sporting design, BMW
  Operating System 8.5 with BMW Curved Display, and a suite of
  innovative digital services.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
  <strong>Latest sales figures.</strong></p>
<p>According to the Land Transport Authority (LTA) figures for the first
  four months of 2023, BMW Group Asia sold a total of 204 fully electric
  vehicles (top in the premium segment and #2 among all brands),
  accounting for just over 20% of total BMW and MINI EV sales to date in
  Singapore. This achievement further strengthens the company’s position
  as a pioneer and leader in the electromobility space and delivers an
  encouraging indicator of EV buyers’ preference for BMWs and MINIs in Singapore.</p>
<p>
  <strong> </strong></p>
<p>
  <strong>Charging in Singapore.</strong></p>
<p>There are currently more than 3,600 EV charging points island wide
  with plans already in motion to further grow this figure. Singapore
  aims to deploy 12,000 and 60,000 charging points by 2025 and 2030
  respectively. Of these 60,000 charging points, 40,000 will be in
  public carparks and the other 20,000 in private premises.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>To make electromobility simple and straightforward for customers, BMW
  Group Asia has been collaborating with Greenlots, a member of the
  Shell Group, since 2014, to provide home and public charging options
  for customers in Singapore. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Today, BMW Group Asia continues this partnership by offering BMW i
  and MINI Electric customers either a comprehensive home or public
  charging package under the Shell Recharge banner.</p>
<ul>
  <li>For home charging, customers will receive a wall-mounted AC
    charger with complimentary installation service.</li>
  <li>For public charging, customers will receive a subscription package
    of 10,000 kWh over 3 years at Shell Recharge stations with no
    monthly cap for charging. This is equivalent to 50,000 km of driving
    range (assuming average energy consumption at 20kWh/100km).</li></ul>
<p> </p>
<p>The wall-mounted AC charger provides a fast way to charge their
  vehicle at a rate of up to 11kW. Once the vehicle is plugged in,
  charging begins and will end automatically when the battery is fully
  charged or has reached the pre-determined level. In addition, BMW i
  and MINI Electric models are compatible with all Type 2 public
  charging stations that are widely available across the island.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>BMW Charging and MINI Charging give drivers access to one of the
  largest networks of public charging stations located in various office
  buildings, shopping malls, hotels and industrial parks in Singapore.
  Activation of and payment for the chargers can be done through an RFID
  card or the Shell Recharge smartphone app.</p>
<p>
  <strong> </strong></p>
<p>
  <strong>Regional footprint.</strong></p>
<p>BMW currently offers electrified vehicles in 80% of the ASEAN region.
  These markets include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia,
  Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The new BMW i4 eDrive35 is now available for viewing at all
  authorised BMW dealers in Singapore.</p>

  <p>
    <strong>Singapore. </strong>BMW Group Asia is celebrating seven
    years of electrification in Singapore with the launch of the
    first-ever fully electric BMW iX3. With three electric vehicles
    (EVs) consisting of the BMW i3s, MINI Electric and now the BMW iX3,
    alongside five plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) from the BMW
    330e to the BMW X5 xDrive45e, BMW Group Asia continues to provide
    the largest range of electrified vehicles in Singapore compared with
    any other brand.</p>
  <p> </p>
  <p>“This is a big milestone for the BMW brand, as customers in
    Singapore now have the power of choice when it comes to the BMW X3,”
    said Mr. Christopher Wehner, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia.
    “Customers have three drivetrains to choose from – internal
    combustion engine, PHEV and EV. Depending on your lifestyle, where
    you live and the infrastructure available to you, we have something
    for everyone.</p>
  <p> </p>
  <p>The best part is this is only the beginning! In the next six
    months, we will be introducing two more fully electric vehicles –
    the first-ever BMW iX and BMW i4. Beyond that, customers can expect
    more electrified models arriving on our shores in 2022, delivering
    the BMW driving experience they know and love, but with an electric kick.”</p>
  <p> </p>
  <p>BMW Group Asia is also providing customers with the complete
    solution – from a comprehensive charging package and qualified EV
    service technicians, to the recycling of EV batteries.</p>
  <p> </p>
  <p>For instance, with every purchase of the BMW iX3, customers will
    receive the following:</p></div>
<p> </p>
<div>
  <ul>
    <li>BMW Wallbox Plus</li>
    <li>Home installation service</li>
    <li>5-year warranty / 100,000km</li>
    <li>6-year servicing inclusive (no mileage limit)</li>
    <li>8-year high-voltage-battery warranty / 160,000km</li>
    <li>BMW ConnectedDrive services to monitor charging status remotely.</li></ul></div>
<p> </p>
<p>BMW-certified EV service technicians are also on hand to give
  customers the peace of mind that their EVs are in good hands. Each
  technician is required to undergo up to seven levels of specialised
  training to proficiently perform work on live components of an EV.
  Performance Motors Limited has the largest team of certified
  High-Voltage Technicians and High-Voltage Experts in the BMW Group
  Asia region.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Finally, BMW Group Asia is proud to be working with TES, who recently
    <a href="https://www.tes-amm.com/press-release/southeast-asias-first-battery-recycling-facility-opens-in-singapore">opened
    Southeast Asia’s First Battery Recycling Facility</a>, to ensure EV
  batteries are recycled at end-of-life.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“TES has been working with BMW Group Asia since 2019, to ensure that
  batteries from their electrified vehicles are properly transported and
  processed,” added Thomas Holberg, Global Vice President, TES
  Sustainable Battery Solutions. “Our proprietary lithium-ion battery
  recycling process extracts the precious metals found within these
  batteries, creating a closed loop solution and allowing them to
  re-enter the manufacturing supply chain.” </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Mr. Fernando Ferrer, Customer Support Director, BMW Group Asia
  commented, “It is not enough to simply offer electrified vehicles in
  the market. As an organisation committed to environmental
  sustainability, it is important to focus not only on providing the
  most efficient battery cell, but also on its entire value chain. Our
  partnership with TES is critical to our overall electrified offering
  in Singapore and further demonstrates our holistic approach to
  safeguarding the earth for future generations.”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
