Gurugram. BMW Group India has announced the launch of Winter Service campaign across its dealer network. This special initiative will be held across India and will ensure complete car readiness for the winter season.

The service is conducted by certified BMW and MINI technical experts. Customers can book prior appointments for car servicing at the workshop and be able to check and update their personal details to receive special promotions and offers from their dealer.

‘M Town’ – the BMW M Driver Training program is a specially designed full-day event by BMW driving experts on renowned racetracks in India. Sensational Obsession: The new BMW M2 debuts in India.

Gurugram. The new BMW M2 was launched in India today. The compact two-door, four-seater high-performance sports car will be available in the country as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model from today onwards.

The new BMW M2 is available in following non-metallic paintworks: Alpine White & M Zandvoort Blue, and in the following metallic paintworks: Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red, Portimao Blue, Sao Paulo Yellow and Skyscraper Grey. The new BMW M2

The distinct character profile of the new BMW M2 is reflected in a visually powerful design that makes no secret of the car’s comfortably segment-leading power, even before it turns a wheel. There was no need for extensive changes: the BMW M2 sets the benchmark in its vehicle segment and is considered a quintessential dynamic driver’s car. To help identify the revised model, it now features black exhaust tailpipes as standard, while the BMW M2 logo at the front and rear now comes in black with a silver surround. The M specific features accentuate the performance-led character of the new BMW M2. It exudes an aggressive presence with its M Frameless kidney grill, showcasing horizontal bars. The elements of the M-typical three-section lower air intake have almost rectangular contours and optimise cooling of the powertrain components and brakes. The boldly contoured Adaptive headlight units are positioned to the outer edges of the front end. The optional M lights Shadow Line offer a dark tint around the headlamps. Prominently flared side skirts team up with broad, muscular wheel arches to create an appearance that is characteristic of BMW M and inspired by racing cars. The rear apron of the new BMW M2 features a powerfully sculpted racecar-style diffuser. The exhaust system feeds into two pairs of exhaust tailpipes, which are positioned a significant distance from the edges of the rear end and channel the racing genes of the M2 visually. The trims for the twin tailpipes are now finished in black as standard. The likewise black model lettering on the boot lid and radiator grille creates a particularly classy impression with it silver-coloured bordering. Also on the options list is an electrically operated slide/tilt sunroof adding to the sense of space. The optional M Carbon Roof is an aerodynamic masterpiece, lowering the car’s center of gravity, increasing control at every turn. Staggered 19”/20” wheel configuration allows the new BMW M2 to skim the ground with grace. A new addition to the options list are M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design and with the same dimensions, but finished in the colour Silver. The M Sport brake callipers are painted in Blue metallic as standard, with a Red finish available as an option.

The most important interface between the driver and car – the steering wheel – has been newly designed, bringing a fresh look to the interior of the compact high-performance model. The standard-fitted M leather steering wheel of the new BMW M2 now has a flat-bottomed rim and precisely modified spokes. A red centre marker in the 12 o’clock position, gearshift paddles and the two M buttons for selecting individually configured vehicle setups project an intense race car feel. An M Alcantara steering wheel is now also available as an option in the same design. The BMW Curved Display features a 12.3" Digital Instrument Cluster and 14.9" Central Information Display - giving an intense focus for peak performance. The optional M Sport seats in Vernasca leather can now also be ordered in a red/black bi-colour variant. Added to which, the weight-minimized M Carbon bucket seats for the new BMW M2 are also available as an individual option. With surfaces in Merino leather, multi-way electric adjustment, removable head restraints and a facility for adding a multipoint harness, they optimise both the car’s comfort levels and its racing credentials. The integral head restraints feature an illuminated M logo. Also available are M Seat belts with a woven stripe pattern in BMW M GmbH colours. The Easy-Entry function slides the front seats forward in a controlled movement when the backrests are folded, making it easier for passengers to access the rear compartment. The contours and integral head restraints of the two rear seats give them an individual-seat character, allowing passengers in the rear to enjoy a sense of sporty driving pleasure as well. The rear backrest has a 40:20:40 split, allowing one or more sections to be folded down as necessary in order to accommodate very long items of luggage. When the backrest is upright, the new BMW M2 offers 390 litres of boot space.

The standard M interior trim strips in Aluminium Rhombicle anthracite inject the cabin with a sporting panache. If the optionally available M interior stripes in Carbon Fibre are specified, the shift paddles and trim on the M leather steering wheel will have a CFRP finish. The car is equipped with Adaptive M-Specific Suspension, M Sport Differential, M high performance compound brakes that guarantee an outstanding driving experience. Exclusive functions such as Multifunction for steering wheel, seat heating with lumbar support (driver and front passenger) and automatic anti-dazzle function in all mirrors add a further sporty touch to the interior.

As well as the raw power itself, the inimitable way in which the six cylinder in-line engine delivers that power also plays a key role in the performance experience offered by the new BMW M2. The engine generates an increased maximum output of 480 hp and peak torque of 600 Nm with automatic transmission and 550 Nm with manual transmission. The upgraded version of the engine for the new edition of the high-performance sportscar shines an even more vivid spotlight on the linear delivery of power, sustained into the higher reaches of the rev range, that is such a hallmark feature of M models. Its maximum torque is on tap across a wide rev band between 2,650 and 6,130 rpm. The engine produces its increased maximum output of 480 hp at 6,250 rpm, with revs topping out at 7,200 rpm. So that drivers can explore the engine’s upgraded performance characteristics with an even greater degree of intensity, further advances have been made with the accelerator mapping and response in all the drive modes selectable via the M Setup menu. As a result, the new BMW M2 offers noticeably more rapid reactions to the driver’s requests for acceleration – both when specified with the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and with the optional six-speed manual gearbox. The car can achieve 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 4 seconds, when paired with automatic transmission and 4.2 seconds, when paired with the manual transmission. The performance experience is also raised another notch by the inclusion of the M Driver's Package, which increases the car's electronically limited top speed from 250 km/h to 285 km/h.

The new BMW M2 comes as standard with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic that offers extremely sporty gear shifts. The broadly spread gears assist efficiency while enabling an intense build-up of power from low road speeds. The driver can access three clearly distinct setups – comfort oriented, sports focused, or track optimized. EFFICIENT, SPORT and SPORT PLUS settings can be engaged to modify the engine’s characteristics, while selecting the COMFORT, SPORT or SPORT PLUS chassis mode provides access to the three settings for the electronically controlled dampers.

As an option its six-cylinder in line engine can also link up with a six-speed manual gearbox creating a performance experience in the classical mould, rooted in the intense interaction between the driver and car. The gear ratios and gear spread are perfectly matched to the performance characteristics of the engine. A precisely defined shift action enables rapid, easily executed gear changes. Plus, the Gear Shift Assistant uses engagement speed control to ensure slip-free operation when downshifting under braking into corners.

Whichever form of power transfer the customer chooses for their BMW M2, the increased engine output shaves 0.1 seconds off its 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time: the new BMW M2 records a figure of 4.0 seconds with the standard transmission or 4.2 seconds if specified with the optional six-speed manual gearbox. The increase in power also makes its presence felt over the 0 to 200 km/h sprint, delivering an improvement of 0.6 seconds in the case of the BMW M2 with eight-speed M Steptronic transmission (now 12.9 seconds) and also lowering the time posted by cars with the optional manual gearbox by 0.6 seconds (to 13.7 seconds).

The latest BMW iDrive with Operating System 8.5, offers all the possibilities for interaction between occupants and the vehicle – using touch, gesture or speech. It is complemented by the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant system which has a self-learning intelligence that adopts a driver’s individual habits, proactively provides useful tips on new driving functions and seamlessly integrates smartphone apps. Wireless smartphone integration and regular Remote Software Upgrades ensure that the car is always up to date.

The new BMW M2 delivers maximum driving pleasure coupled with an outstanding performance and fuel consumption ratio thanks to BMW EfficientDynamics measures such as intelligent lightweight design, Brake Energy Regeneration, Auto Start-Stop function, electric power steering, differential and transfer case with optimised warm-up behaviour and aerodynamics.

For utmost safety, the new BMW M2 comes with head and side airbags for driver and front passenger as well as head airbags for rear seats as standard. Additional standard equipment includes Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Automatic Stability Control (ASC), M Dynamic Mode (MDM), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dry Braking function and Active M Differential.

Duality Untamed: The all-new BMW M5 launched in India.

Gurugram. The all-new BMW M5 was launched in India today. The seventh generation of the legendary high-performance sedan will be available in the country as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model from today onwards.

The BMW M5 has been the global benchmark for outstanding driving dynamics, agility, and precision in the high-performance sedan segment. The all-new BMW M5 looks towards the future while building on its high-performance predecessors and adds another technical highlight: the M Hybrid powertrain. While the step towards hybridization looks to the future, the M5 still retains its legendary S68 4.4l V8 engine.

The all-new BMW M5

The all-new BMW M5 is powering into a new era. With 40 years of history having passed under its wheels, the legendary high-performance sedan has reached its seventh model generation. And the executive model from BMW M GmbH now has an electrified drive system for the first time. The combination of combustion engine and electric motor in the new BMW M5 adheres to the same principle as the drive system in the BMW M Hybrid V8 endurance racing machine. The intelligently controlled interplay of the engine and motor, and power transfer and chassis technology tuned perfectly to the resultant performance characteristics, provide the latest example of progress achieved with established racing-car expertise.

The front-end view of the all-new BMW M5 is shaped by a modern take on the signature BMW twin headlights and BMW kidney grille. The standard Adaptive LED Headlights bring a modern, pared-back look to the brand typical four-eyed face. The newly designed BMW M kidney grille is finished in Black high gloss and almost entirely enclosed. A single M-typical double-bar bearing an M5 badge runs across the grille. The puristic design approach here enables a fresh aesthetic, which is presented to characterful effect by the black surround and BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting fitted as standard. Pronounced wheel arch extensions and the sculptural surfaces around the BMW M kidney grille, headlights and air intakes create a visually striking appearance.

M-specific design features ensure the all-new BMW M5 is also immediately recognisable as a high-performance sports car when viewed from the side. It has an elegantly sporty silhouette, injected with extra dynamism by the model-specific surface treatment. The side frame of the body, including the front and rear wheel arches, has been completely.

redesigned for the high-performance model. The embossed M5 logo in the rearmost section of the side window surround with standard M High-gloss Shadow Line trim brings an extra touch of individuality. The matt recessing stands out clearly from the surface of the Hofmeister kink. Standard specification also includes the M Carbon Roof, which reduces vehicle weight by more than 30 kilograms compared with models with the panoramic glass sunroof. It lowers the car’s centre of gravity and gives the silhouette of the all-new BMW M5 an even lower-slung look. The M Carbon roof is part of the M Carbon exterior package, which also includes exterior mirror caps and a rear spoiler made from the same lightweight, high-tech material. Alternatively, customers can specify their BMW M5 with the panoramic glass sunroof which is designed as a body-mounted module. It extends in a single section from just behind the windscreen almost as far as the rear window and floods the interior with light.

Prominently flared wheel arches also determine the character of the rear end. They accentuate the width and muscular stature of the all-new BMW M5, an impression reinforced by the vertical reflectors positioned at the outer edges of the rear. An M rear spoiler and a two-section diffuser are on hand to optimize airflow around the body. In addition, the familiar M twin exhaust tailpipes – here in Black Chrome – are integrated into the rear apron. The M light alloy wheels measure 20 inches (285/40 ZR20) at the front and 21 inches (295/35 ZR21) at the back, lending the vehicle an impressive look. The driver’s braking requests are executed by the standard-fitted M Compound brakes or optional M Carbon ceramic brakes.

The multi-layered character of the all-new BMW M5 – spanning track-oriented dynamics, locally emission-free cruising and the ability to cover long distances with consummate ease – is also reflected in its interior. A newly designed M leather steering wheel in three-spoke design with a flat-bottomed rim, decorative stitching in BMW M GmbH colours and a red centre marker in the 12-o’clock position brings extra intensity to the racing car feeling of the cockpit. Red M1/M2 buttons are available for quick access to saved custom vehicle set-ups. With the M Drive Professional option, the left gearshift paddle is marked “BOOST”. If the customer specifies the optional M Drive Professional, they can also make use of TRACK mode. Other features of M Drive Professional include the M Laptimer and the Boost Control function, which enables extremely rapid bursts of speed when travelling at between 30 and 150 km/h. Pulling on the left-hand shift paddle for more than one second prompts all the powertrain and chassis systems to be switched to their sportiest setting. When the driver then pushes down hard on the accelerator, the car accelerates without delay and with great force and dynamic flair. The control panel on the centre console of the new BMW M5 houses a model-specific composition of buttons which can be used to tailor the driving experience to individual preferences in a variety of ways. The Setup button provides direct access to the configuration of the drive system, Drivelogic, chassis, steering, braking system and M xDrive, as well as the intensity of brake energy recuperation. A newly designed M leather steering wheel, the standard M multifunction seats and the BMW Curved Display convey a sense of cutting-edge sporting presence. The M-specific interior illumination – including ambient lighting and the BMW Interaction Bar – creates an exclusive atmosphere across all five seats. The control panel on the centre console houses the red start/stop button, the newly designed gear selector lever, the BMW Controller, the roller control for the audio and the M-specific buttons for the setup options. The M multifunction seats with illuminated M5 logo add a motorsport touch. With their numerous adjustment options, they adapt perfectly to the body and offer ideal support in fast corners. The Anthracite headliner adds to the exclusive ambience inside the car. The standard Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system with 18 speakers and 655-watt amplifiertreats the driver and passengers in all seats to a soundscape of beguiling clarity.

The combination of a high-revving V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor, plus power transfer courtesy of an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic and the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system gives drivers a new experience of the performance with which M models have made their name. A model-specific version of the M HYBRID system gives the all-new BMW M5 maximum output of 535 kW (727 hp) and peak system torque of 1,000 Nm. The combustion engine delivers up to 430 kW (585 hp) and a maximum torque of 750 Nm while, the electric drive system generates a peak output of 145 kW (197 hp) and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. The eight-cylinder unit is the largest contributor to the M HYBRID system and delivers its maximum output from 5,600 to 6,500 rpm and has a rev limit of 7,200 rpm. A high voltage 18.6 kW lithium-ion battery is situated in the underbody. It delivers a pure-electric driving range of up to 69 kms (WLTP).

The operating mode of the M HYBRID system can also be adjusted as desired. The new M Hybrid button allows the driver to choose between HYBRID mode – for intelligently controlled interplay between the combustion engine and electric motor to maximise either efficiency or performance, depending on the driving situation – and the ELECTRIC setting, in which the combustion engine is only brought into play by accelerator kickdown or using the gearshift paddles. eCONTROL mode is used for effective brake energy recuperation and maintaining battery charge at a constant level. And the optional M Drive Professional adds DYNAMIC and DYNAMIC PLUS modes to the mix, which prime the drive system and cooling system to keep output at a constantly high level or generate short bursts of maximum output during committed track driving.

The new BMW M5 harnesses the instantaneously initiated and relentlessly building power delivery of its engine and electric motor to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. 0 to 200 km/h takes 10.9 seconds. In addition, the maximum system torque of 1,000 Nm gives the M HYBRID drive system outstanding elasticity, which is reflected in a time of 2.9 seconds for the sprint from 80 to 120 km/h in fifth gear. In fourth gear, this figure drops as low as 2.2 seconds. And that even undercuts the times recorded by the previous-generation BMW M5 CS special edition by 0.1 seconds in fourth gear and 0.3 seconds in fifth. The top speed of the new BMW M5 is limited to 250 km/h as standard, but the limiter can be raised to 305 km/h if the optional M Driver’s Package is specified. In all-electric operating mode, the new BMW M5 can hit speeds of up to 140 km/h.

The fourth generation 8 - speed M Steptronic transmission delivers smooth gear shifts and top levels of power delivery and shift comfort as well as impressive efficiency. Three driving modes can be selected using the M Hybrid button on the centre console. Hybrid default setting for intelligently controlled interplay of the combustion engine and electric motor maximises efficiency or performance depending on the requirement.

The chassis design of the new BMW M5 comprises a double-wishbone front axle and a five-link rear axle with bespoke kinematics and elastokinematics, plus a host of other specially tuned components. The electrically assisted rack-and-pinion steering with M Servotronic and variable steering ratio has a rigid connection to the front axle subframe to ensure optimal feedback from the road and a high degree of directional accuracy. In conjunction with the wide tracks and the excellent torsional rigidity of the body and chassis mountings, this combination produces the handling attributes for which BMW M models are renowned, shaped by agility, precision and the linear build-up of lateral forces when the driver is pushing on. The M xDrive all-wheel-drive system maximises traction, agility and directional stability. Precisely controlled and fully variable distribution of power between front and rear axles and between the left and right rear wheels ensures masterful performance in any situation. The power generated by the combustion engine and electric motor is channelled to the road via the all-wheel-drive system, whose rear-biased setup is particularly pronounced in 4WD Sport mode. However, the driver can also select 2WD mode. This sends drive exclusively to the rear wheels with the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) system switched off, which will appeal to experienced drivers who prefer a performance experience of the pure-bred variety. Also fitted as standard is the adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers and Integral Active Steering, which steers the rear wheels by up to 1.5 degrees. M-specific tuning, the individually selectable settings and the ability to adjust the dampers at each wheel individually optimise the body’s connection to the road and maximise the car’s spread of talents – from everyday driving comfort to race-ready dynamic prowess.

BMW Operating System 8.5 in the all-new BMW M5 offers a wider range of digital content for information and entertainment, faster update cycles for functions, improved information on charging points for electric vehicles and optimised access to many specific online services. The display and control system expanded to include the BMW Head-Up Display in conjunction with the BMW Live Cockpit Professional. The advanced display and operating system offers a redesigned entry screen and "QuickSelect” access with an improved menu structure oriented towards consumer electronics devices. The new entry screen permanently shows the map view of the navigation system or other displays that can be individually configured. The cloud-based navigation system BMW Maps now not only offers an Augmented View display on the Information Display behind the steering wheel, but also improved functions for even more precise and charging station optimised navigation.

The spread of Driver Assistance Systems is more extensive than ever. Parking Assistant Plus with Surround View Camera makes parking in tight spots easier by taking over acceleration, braking as well as steering. The Reversing Assistant provides unmatched support in reversing out of a parking spot or through narrow driveways. Standard specification includes the Driving Assistant, which comprises Rear Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning including lane return with steering assistance. The optional Driving Assistant Professional delivers an extensive automated driving experience with a combination of Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function and Steering and Lane Control Assistant. The range of functions also includes the Emergency Lane and Emergency Stop Assistant, the Lange Change Assistant and Cross Traffic Warning.

BMW Safety technologies include airbags, Antilock Braking System (ABS), M Dynamic Mode (MDM), Attentiveness Assistance, M Sport differential networked with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Active Roll Stabilisation with Active Roll Comfort, Performance Control, electric parking brake with auto hold, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor and ISOFIX child seat mounting.

Into the broad space between race track experience and soul-stirring road performance comes another BMW M GmbH special edition. The all-new BMW M4 CS takes the blend of attributes typically found in high-performance cars and turns the emotional engagement dial up a few notches. Engine output increased to 405 kW/550 hp, model-specific chassis tuning and minimised weight – helped by numerous components made from carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) – bring an extra edge to the BMW M4 Coupé vehicle concept of four seats, everyday practicality, advanced equipment and exclusive design features. All in all, lightweight design measures bring the car’s weight down by around 20 kilograms compared to the BMW M4 Competition Coupé with M xDrive. The all-new BMW M4 CS instantly announces its sharper character with a series of individual design features. The new BMW Individual special paint finishes Riviera Blue and Frozen Isle of Man Green Metallic are available exclusively for the latest special-edition model from BMW M GmbH. The pure-bred performance talents of the BMW M4 CS are the product of M-typical racing genes, which offer constant reminders of their presence in everyday driving on the road and enjoy full expression out on the track. In testing at the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife circuit – the ultimate barometer for all BMW M cars when it comes to the signature M recipe of dynamic potency, agility and handling precision – the all-new BMW M4 CS recorded an official and notarised time of 7 min. 21.989 sec. for the full 20.832-kilometre (12.943-mile) lap.

The exclusive design features of the all-new BMW M4 CS promise a thrilling driving experience. With numerous components made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), the exterior emphasizes the car’s motor racing pedigree. The vehicle’s front-end sports a weight-saving, frameless BMW kidney grille with a stripped-back feel reminiscent of racing machines. Designed especially for this model, its identifying features include red contour lines and the “M4 CS” badging on the upper of the two horizontal grille bars. The redesigned LED headlights with their characteristic yellow daytime running light icons are reminiscent of GT race cars. Along with the distinctive BMW kidney grille, they define the front of the BMW M4 CS. At the rear, a Gurney¬-style spoiler, a CFRP diffuser and a titanium exhaust system with four tailpipes leave a lasting impression. Extremely precise CSL Style Laser Tail Lights are part of the standard equipment and underline the car’s exceptional appearance. Both the model badge at the front and its counterpart on the boot lid have black surfaces with a red border. The lightweight wheels (19-inch at the front axle and 20-inch at the rear) are fitted as standard to maximize the performance experience on the race track. The special-edition model is equipped as standard with M Compound brakes with calipers painted in Red. M Carbon ceramic brakes are available optionally. An M front end strut brace – also engineered for lightness – can be specified as an option for the BMW M4 CS to increase torsional rigidity and improve handling through dynamically taken corners. The cast aluminium elements connecting the spring strut towers to the front end feature a weight-optimised geometry that has been precisely matched – with the help of numerical models – to the forces applied in various driving situations.

The motor racing allure of the all-new BMW M4 CS continues in the interior. The entire centre console is made of CFRP which lowers weight and looks very attractive, with an appealing carbon fibre structure and red CS lettering. The standard M Alcantara steering wheel in three-spoke design with a flat-bottomed rim offers a perfect combination of secure grip for dynamic driving manoeuvres and impressive comfort on longer journeys. Its red center marker and CFRP shift paddles add an authentic racing flavor to the cockpit. The BMW Curved Display features M-specific readouts and is angled towards the driver, helping them to focus on the road ahead. The standard M Carbon bucket seats in a model-specific design also fuse racing-car feel and long-distance comfort to exceptional effect. Fully electric and heated, they feature integral head restraints and an illuminated model badge. The M Carbon bucket seats are upholstered in Merino leather and come in an exclusive design with a Black/Red colour scheme and distinctive contrast stitching. This bi-colour finish is carried over into the rear compartment of the high-performance sports car. Both the door panels in the front and the rear side paneling are trimmed entirely in Black leather. Red “CS” lettering on the centre console, M seat belts with contrast stitching in the BMW M GmbH colours, an Anthracite-coloured headliner, interior trim strips in Carbon Fibre finish and door sill plates with the inscription “M4 CS” all add to the exclusive ambience inside the car.

The all-new BMW M4 CS is powered by a particularly muscular version of the high revving six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology. The 3.0-litre unit has had track performance as its raison d’être from day one of its development. It also provides the basis for the engine in the BMW M4 GT3, which won the DTM touring car title in 2022 at the first time of asking and followed that up in 2023 with overall victories at the 24-hour races in Spa-Francorchamps and Dubai. It is also combined with intelligent four-wheel drive M xDrive. The engine generates maximum output of 550 hp and peak torque of 650 Nm with 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 3.4 seconds. The top speed of the special edition – which comes as standard with the M Driver’s Package – is electronically limited to 302 km/h (188 mph).

It additionally comes with M Traction Control, whose ten stages also play their part in helping drivers enjoy the pleasure of driving the car enthusiastically on the track.

Gurugram. The first-ever BMW XM Label has been launched in India. Available as Completely Built-up Unit (CBU), only one unit out of 500 produced is coming to India.

With its unique design features, the BMW XM Label has a singularly extrovert aura. The muscular proportions of a dynamic Sports Activity Vehicle converge with an extrovert exterior design featuring large surfaces, clear lines, and a front-end look reserved for luxury-class BMW models. Added to the mix here are design accents underscoring the singular character of the BMW XM Label as a car focused on achieving the highest peaks of performance. The strikingly illuminated BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille surround lends an unmistakable appearance. Toronto Red metallic for the BMW M kidney grille surround and rear diffuser insert create additional design cues that combine with a body paint finish in BMW Individual Frozen Carbon Black metallic. The use of red also extends to the model badges and the wheel inserts. The contrast of the gloss colour accents against shimmering matt surfaces ensures the exterior of the BMW XM Label has a particularly enthralling effect. Exclusive 22-inch M light alloy wheels add on to the vehicles style quotient. The latest generation of M Sports Brakes with Red Calipers produces accurate stopping power.

A black/red colour scheme also brings a visually appealing and sporting flavour to the interior of the BMW XM Label. A generous feeling of space, high-quality materials and extravagant design transform the rear of the BMW XM Label into an exclusive M Lounge. The distinctive three dimensional headliner and the trim for the body pillars have black surfaces. Red is used to bring an extra sense of exclusivity to the diamond-shaped upper sections of the backrests and the integrated head restraints of the seats for the driver and front passenger and the outer rear seats. This is complemented by red contrast stitching for the black surfaces of the seats, instrument panel, door trim and centre console, and the likewise red accents for the air vents. The M HYBRID system in the BMW XM Label demonstrates the intoxicating effect of drive system electrification in high-performance models from BMW M GmbH in impressive style. The precisely honed interplay of the electric motor and V8 engine ensures an instantaneous delivery of power that then builds emphatically and continues unabated into the highest reaches of the rev range. The plug-in hybrid system delivers a combined maximum output of 550 kW (748 hp) and maximum torque of 1000 Nm. The combustion engine delivers up to 430 kW (585 hp) and a maximum torque of 720 Nm while, the electric drive system generates a peak output of 145 kW (197 hp) and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. A high voltage 25.7 kW lithium-ion battery is situated in the underbody. It delivers a pure-electric driving range of up to 76 - 82 kms. The car sprints from 0 -100 km / hr in just 3.8 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/hr, although this figure rises to 290 km/hr with the M Driver’s Package. The note of a V8 engine is unmistakable, but the XM also offers an emotionally rich sound experience in pure-electric mode with BMW IconicSounds Electric.

The BMW XM Label comes with a complimentary BMW Wallbox charger with installation. It can be integrated at home to enable safe and convenient charging.

The M xDrive all-wheel-drive system maximises traction, agility and directional stability. Precisely controlled and fully variable distribution of power between front and rear axles and between the left and right rear wheels ensures masterful performance in any situation.

BMW ConnectedDrive technology breaks the innovation barrier and turns the car into an interconnected digital device. Host of connected drive features include Digital Key Plus, Emergency Call, Real-time Traffic Information, and Remote Services through MyBMW app. BMW Live Cockpit Professional includes the freestanding 14.9” BMW Curved Display with Navigation with real-time traffic information and augmented view, a 12.3-inch digital information display behind the steering wheel and BMW Head-up Display.

The latest BMW Operating System 8.5 offers all the possibilities for interaction between occupants and the vehicle – using touch or voice. The sporty Carbon Fiber Roof makes the car significantly lighter overall. It also lowers the center of gravity for enhanced stability, agility and overall handling. The extensive range of light-alloy wheels includes an attractive new addition: 19"/20" M forged wheels Double-spoke style 825 M Silver with mixed-size tyres are now available as an option. The brake calipers in Blue high-gloss with M lettering lend the high performance M Compound brake system a distinctly sporty appearance. Brake calipers in Red high-gloss is also available as an option. The optional M Carbon exterior package includes inserts for the wide-open front air intakes and a rear diffuser, each featuring its own geometry, exterior mirror caps and an exclusive CFP rear spoiler.

A distinctive feature in the interior is the new three-spoke M leather steering wheel. It now comes with a flattened bottom section as well as a red 12 o’clock marker along with carbon fiber accents. Moreover, for the first time, an M Alcantara steering wheel is available optionally, with the same design and range of functions. The expansive BMW Curved Display with Operating System 8.5 can be controlled with a simple touch or voice activated BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. At the heart of the new BMW M4 Competition M xDrive is the BMW M TwinPower Turbo S58 six-cylinder in-line petrol engine. This high-revving 3.0-litre powerplant offers dynamic power delivery and a rich, signature M sound. It is also combined with intelligent four-wheel drive M xDrive. The engine generates maximum output of 530 hp and peak torque of 650 Nm with 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 3.5 seconds.

BMW Operating System 8.5 in the new BMW M4 Competition M xDrive offers a wider range of digital content for information and entertainment, faster update cycles for functions, improved information on charging points for electric vehicles and optimised access to many specific online services. The display and control system expanded to include the BMW Head-Up Display in conjunction with the BMW Live Cockpit Professional. The advanced display and operating system offers a redesigned entry screen and "QuickSelect” access with an improved menu structure oriented towards consumer electronics devices. A host of BMW ConnectedDrivetechnologies continue to break the innovation barrier in automotive industry – Telephony with wireless charging, Head Up Display, Smartphone Integration, Active Protection including attentiveness assistant with Park Distance Control with sensors at the front and rear and Parking Assistant. Harman Kardon surround sound system with 16 speakers provides an intense musical feast for the ears. Gurugram. The all-new BMW M2 was launched in India today. This compact two-door, four-seater high-performance sports car will be available in the country as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model from today onwards.

The all-new BMW M2 is the ultimate embodiment of driving pleasure for the purist. It excites and delights with the skillset of a classical high-performance sports car – reproduced in highly concentrated form, with fresh intensity and cutting-edge technology. A highly potent inline 6-cylinder engine works alongside superb Adaptive M Suspension that is designed to maximize road contact and traction in all driving situations.

The distinct character profile of the all-new BMW M2 is reflected in a visually powerful design that makes no secret of the car’s comfortably segment-leading power, even before it turns a wheel. The M specific features accentuate the performance-led character of the all-new BMW M2. It exudes an aggressive presence with its M Frameless kidney grill, showcasing horizontal bars. The elements of the M-typical three-section lower air intake have almost rectangular contours and optimise cooling of the powertrain components and brakes. The boldly contoured Adaptive headlight units are positioned to the outer edges of the front end. The optional M Shadow Line lights offer a dark tint around the headlamps. Prominently flared side skirts team up with broad, muscular wheel arches to create an appearance that is characteristic of BMW M and inspired by racing cars. This air-directing element adopts a pared-back racing look and incorporates another signature M feature: the two pairs of exhaust tailpipes. The optional M Carbon Roof is an aerodynamic masterpiece, lowering the car’s center of gravity, increasing control at every turn. Staggered 19”/20” wheel configuration allows the all-new BMW M2 to skim the ground with grace. The option to upgrade to 19/20” Alloys style 930 M Jet Black is also available. The M Sport brake callipers are painted in Blue metallic as standard, with a Red finish available as an option.

The interior of the all-new BMW M2 boasts a cockpit with a driver-centric design. When it comes to functionality, control and comfort, the standard equipment features emphasize squarely on focused driving pleasure. The all-new BMW Curved Display features a 12.3" Digital Instrument Cluster and 14.9" Central Information Display - giving an intense focus for peak performance. The standard M Sport seats come with electrical adjustment, including for the height of the head restraints. The newly designed and exclusive seats have much pronounced bolsters and contour lines around the backrest and head restraint in BMW M GmbH colours. They are upholstered in Vernasca leather with perforated surfaces and can be ordered in either black or cognac. The integral head restraints feature an illuminated M logo. Also available are M Seat belts with a woven stripe pattern in BMW M GmbH colours. The Easy-Entry function slides the front seats forward in a controlled movement when the backrests are folded, making it easier for passengers to access the rear compartment. The contours and integral head restraints of the two rear seats give them an individual-seat character, allowing passengers in the rear to enjoy a sense of sporty driving pleasure as well. The rear backrest has a 40:20:40 split, allowing one or more sections to be folded down as necessary in order to accommodate very long items of luggage. When the backrest is upright, the all-new BMW M2 offers 390 litres of boot space.

The standard M interior trim strips in Aluminium Rhombicle anthracite inject the cabin with a sporting panache. If the optionally available M interior stripes in Carbon Fibre are specified, the shift paddles and trim on the M leather steering wheel will have a CFRP finish. The car is equipped with Adaptive M-Specific Suspension, M Sport Differential, M high performance compound brakes that guarantee an outstanding driving experience. Exclusive functions such as Multifunction for steering wheel, seat heating with lumbar support (driver and front passenger) and automatic anti-dazzle function in all mirrors add a further sporty touch to the interior.

The M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line petrol engine impresses not only with its inimitable performance characteristics but also its clearly superior power. The straight six engine captures the imagination with its hallmark M attributes in the version developed for the all-new BMW M2. Urgent response, a healthy appetite for revs and linear power delivery into the highest reaches of the engine speed range together form an unmistakable skillset that defines the performance experience in the all-new BMW M2. The engine generates maximum output of 453 hp and peak torque of 550 Nm at 2,650 – 5,870. The car can achieve 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 4.1 seconds, when paired with automatic transmission and 4.3 seconds, when paired with the manual transmission. The performance experience is also raised another notch by the inclusion of the M Driver's Package, which increases the car's electronically limited top speed from 250 km/h to 285 km/h.

The all-new BMW M2 comes as standard with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic that offers extremely sporty gear shifts. The broadly spread gears assist efficiency while enabling an intense build-up of power from low road speeds. The driver can access three clearly distinct setups – comfort oriented, sports focused, or track optimized. This is the first time ever that BMW is offering a manual transmission in the Indian market. The gear ratios and gear spread are perfectly matched to the performance characteristics of the engine. A precisely defined shift action enables rapid, easily executed gear changes. Plus, the Gear Shift Assistant uses engagement speed control to ensure slip-free operation when downshifting under braking into corners.

The exhaust system comes with an innovative flap concept. The electrically controlled flaps, positioned just before the rear silencer, minimise exhaust backpressure for optimised efficiency and create a distinctively unmistakable BMW M sound across the entire rev range.

BMW ConnectedDrive technology breaks the innovation barrier and turns the car into an interconnected digital device. Host of connected drive features include BMW ID, BMW App, Digital Key, Emergency Call, Real-time Traffic Information, Remote Services and smartphone parking. Wireless smartphone integration and regular Remote Software Upgrades ensure that the car is always up to date. My BMW app functions include popular options for keeping an eye on the current vehicle status at all times as well as Learning Navigation, which offers destination suggestions and traffic information based on the owner’s driving habits. In addition, customers can use the My BMW app to generate the BMW Digital Key which turns a smartphone into a digital vehicle key. It will enable customers to physically open the doors when unlocking them this way. If the Digital Key is activated, it’s also possible to perform automated parking manoeuvres.

The spread of Driver Assistance Systems support and relieve the driver, thus increasing comfort and safety. Standard equipment includes functions like Cruise Control, the Attentiveness Assistant and Reverse Assistant. Gurugram. The first-ever BMW XM has been launched in India today. The completely built-up unit (CBU) is available for bookings at BMW dealership network. Deliveries will commence from May 2023 onwards.

BMW XM is the first-ever high-performance model with electrified drive system. This produces immense, instantaneously available power resulting in a thrilling performance experience. The M Hybrid system consists of a new V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor integrated into the 8 - speed M Steptronic transmission. This newly developed plug-in hybrid system delivers a combined maximum output of 480 kW (653 hp) and maximum torque of 800 Nm. The combustion engine delivers up to 360 kW (489 hp) and a maximum torque of 650 Nm at 1600-5000 rpm while, the electric drive system generates a peak output of 145 kW (197 hp) and a maximum torque of 280 Nm at 100 – 5500 rpm. The hexagonal kidney grille with M typical double slats draws attention to itself between the iconic four-eye face of the BMW Laserlight. The size of the air intakes widens towards the bottom and shows how immense the cooling requirements of the high- performance engine and brakes are. The all-new BMW M4 Competition Coupé

The distinctive body design of the all-new BMW M4 Competition Coupé sends out a bolder statement than ever of its performance supremacy and emotionally engaging driving experience at hand. Visually striking exterior includes the M-specific version of the large, vertical BMW kidney grille with hallmark double bars in a horizontal design, the powerfully sculpted wheel arches with eye-catching M gills, and the prominently extended side sills with attachment parts for the front and rear aprons. Adaptive LED Headlights with BMW Laserlight are specified as standard. The M-specific exterior mirrors have aerodynamically optimized contouring and are painted in High-gloss Black as standard. The car also sports aerodynamically optimized fins, a rear spoiler and two pairs of exhaust tailpipes finished in Black Chrome.

The interior has clearly structured surfaces and an ergonomically impeccable cockpit design that ensures the driver’s focus remains one hundred per cent on the intense driving experience. The electrically adjustable M sport seats and M Leather ‘Merino’ with extended contents upholstery with Carbon fiber trim come as standard. Exclusive functions such as M Seat belts, , Multifunction for steering wheel, seat heating with lumbar support (driver and front passenger), electrical seat adjustment with memory function, and automatic anti-dazzle function in all mirrors add a further sporty touch to the interior. The eight speed M Steptronic transmission enables extraordinary short shift times and fast, precise responses to every nudge of the accelerator. The driver can access three clearly distinct setups in both automatic and manual mode – comfort oriented, sports focused, or track optimized. The Setup button on the centre console provides direct access to the settings options for the engine, chassis, steering and braking system, plus traction control. EFFICIENT, SPORT and SPORT PLUS settings can be engaged to modify the engine’s characteristics, while selecting the COMFORT, SPORT or SPORT PLUS chassis mode provides access to the three settings for the electronically controlled dampers.

A host of BMW ConnectedDrive technologies continue to break the innovation barrier in automotive industry – Telephony with wireless charging, Head Up Display, Smartphone Integration, Active Protection including attentiveness assistant with Park Distance Control with sensors at the front and rear and Parking Assistant. Options include the Driving Assistant, Parking Assistant Plus, Comfort Access System, Gesture control, Steering and Lane Control Assistant, as well as the BMW Drive Recorder. The new BMW M5 Competition.

Exterior of the new BMW M5 Competition makes an immediate impression with its front look that consist of newly designed BMW Laser lights and L-shaped light tubes connecting towards the kidney grille in narrow streaks. Black styling details all over the exterior underline its elite status. The BMW kidney grille surround, M-specific double bars, the mesh on the M gills, mirror caps and the additional rear spoiler on the boot lid all have a High-gloss Black finish. Black M5 Competition badges adorn the kidney grille, the gills and the boot lid, while the door sill plates have an illuminated version. The rear design features new 3D rear lights with densely illuminated LED bars which give a new interpretation to BMW typical “L-shape”. The rear apron includes black inserts. The tailpipes of the standard M Sport exhaust system are finished in Black Chrome.

Interior of the new BMW M5 Competition is sporty and luxurious. Bespoke upholstery in leather Merino elevates the interior in three choices – Silverstone, Aragon Brown and Black. As an exclusive option, the three choices are also available in full leather Merino upholstery with additional choice in Black / Midrand Beige. BMW Individual headliner anthracite and high-gloss Shadow Line provide a luxurious feel. M multifunction seats with integral head restraints, an illuminated ‘M5’ logo and extended functions come as standard. Exclusive functions such as M Seat belts, M footrest and pedals, M Leather Steering Wheel, seat heating (driver and front passenger), electrical seat adjustment with memory function, automatic tailgate add to the comfort. The car is equipped with Adaptive M-Specific Suspension, M Sport exhaust system, M high performance compound brakes and 20-inch M light alloy wheels in the standard profile. Customers can add more equipment of their liking and further enhance the car’s sporty looks and overall experience through optional offerings such as Rear Seat Entertainment, M Carbon ceramic brakes, BMW Individual Shadow line in lights, Ambient Air package, M Carbon engine cover and 20-inch 810 M double-spoke wheels in polished Orbit Grey.

The high performance V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo Technology under the bonnet of the new BMW M5 Competition goes about its business in racing-car-derived, high-revving style. It imposes muscularity and supreme power delivery. Specially designed bespoke engine mounts with a stiffer spring rate result in even more rapid engine response offering greater directness and precision. The engine generates maximum output of 625 hp and peak torque of 750 Nm with 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 3.3 seconds.

The eight speed M Steptronic transmission enables extraordinary short shift times and fast, precise responses to every nudge of the accelerator. The driver can use both the selector lever and the shift paddles on the steering wheel to intervene manually. The damper response settings vary according to the mode selected with the Driving Experience Control switch, that allows the driver to choose between different modes to suit the driving conditions. The new two-button operating concept in the centre console originates from the BMW M8. Using the M Setup, the driver can further improve driving dynamics, be it comprehensive driving stabilisation. M Mode selector on the centre console. It adjusts the contents of the instrument cluster displays and the Head-Up Display and can be used to activate the ROAD and SPORT settings. The BMW M5 Competition also offers TRACK mode, for an undiluted M experience on race circuits.

Modern cockpit concept BMW Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Operating System 7.0 includes 3D Navigation, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display behind the steering wheel and a bigger 12.3-inch Control Display. This makes it even easier to keep a clear eye on the myriad functions associated with the driving dynamics systems and BMW M xDrive all-wheel drive, which can be altered to 2WD mode. The occupants can operate several functions simply by speaking to their BMW Virtual Assistant. Hands do the talking with BMW Gesture Control that recognizes six pre-defined hand movements for control of a number of functions. The smartphone holder integrated into the centre console allows inductive, Wireless Charging for mobile phones. Wireless Apple CarPlay® / Android Auto ensures seamless smartphone connection with the car to access several functions. Harman Kardon Surround Sound System conjures an engrossing treat for the ears. High-end 16 speaker system with woofers generates an impressive audio experience in all seats and is unique worldwide in the automotive sector. The sound experience can be further upgraded to the optional Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system. BMW Head-Up Display to a special M View projects all information relevant to the journey directly into the driver's field of vision. BMW Display Key allows drivers to keep in contact with their car round the clock.

The new BMW M5 Competition presents best-in-class cutting-edge driver assistance systems. Parking Assistant Plus with Surround View Camera makes parking in tight spots easier. Reversing Assistant provides unmatched support in reversing out of a parking spot or through narrow driveways. It keeps a record of the last 50 meters driven and assists by taking over the steering. The Comfort Access System makes it possible to open all four vehicle doors without using the key.

The first-ever BMW X3 M

The exterior design takes the typical muscular proportions shared by all BMW X models. Its long wheelbase, short overhangs, slightly hexagonal wheel arches, crisp lines & clean-cut surface contouring completes the picture with a sprinkling of tell-tale M features for that extra dose of sporting supremacy. The all-new model sports a BMW kidney grille with black double bars. The signature M gills are integrated into the Air Breathers on the front flanks. The exterior mirrors’ special M design brings about a further reduction in aerodynamic drag. The standard equipment also includes 20-inch M light-alloy wheels.

The interior of the first-ever BMW X3 M creates a sporty & luxurious ambience. The unmistakable M-style cockpit design has electrically adjustable sports seats with memory, Vernasca leather upholstery, ambient lighting, an M-specific instrument cluster & a restyled M selector lever. Although the interior appears firmly focused on a sporty driving experience, it still retains the versatility for which BMW X models are known. The first-ever BMW X3 M is loaded with cutting edge BMW Safety technologies such as front, side & head airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including M Dynamic Mode, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Brake Control, Dry Braking function, Cruise Control with braking function along with Collision & Pedestrian Warning with City Braking function. BMW M GmbH is embarking on a luxury-segment offensive with a new high-performance sports cars - the first-ever BMW M8 Coupe (fuel consumption combined: 6.59 km/l*; CO2 emissions combined: 360 g/ km).

The first-ever model draws the energy for its exceptional performance from the most powerful engine. The high-revving V8 unit with M TwinPower Turbo technology develops 441 kW/600 hp in the all-new BMW M8 Coupe. The high-performance power unit teams up with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic, and the engine’s power is channelled to the road via the M xDrive all-wheeldrive system. The performance-focused character of the engine, transmission and chassis allows the all-new BMW M8 Coupe to power from 0 to 100 km/h 3.3 seconds.

The precise interaction between powertrain, chassis technology and aerodynamics has been carefully honed over the course of intensive testing. The model-specific chassis technology has been designed and tuned with the specific demands of track use in mind. The new chassis technology clubbed with BMW M xDrive offers variable distribution of the drive torque between front and rear wheels. It also helps in optimized traction and driving stability depending on road surfaces. The M xDrive is controlled by a central M-specific vehicle dynamics control system. Different settings available include 4WD, 4 WD Sport (MDM) and 2WD (DSC off). The M Sport Differential ensures that even with challenging changes of direction or on various surfaces, the engine power is optimally brought to the road. Adaptive M Suspension enables individual response behavior for each wheel at the touch of button.

Few but very precise vehicle lines underline the graphic design of the first-ever BMW M8 Coupe. The vehicle body looks more powerful, refined and luscious with the sportiness that is typical to BMW. The exclusive aura of the all-new BMW M8 Coupe is further enhanced by model-specific features geared to the functional requirements of a high-performance sports cars. Large air intakes and the BMW kidney grille with familiar M double bars at the front end, lavishly flared front wheel arches, M gills in the front side panels, aerodynamically optimised exterior mirrors and a rear apron with diffuser elements create a fitting visual showcase for the dynamic potential and exclusive status of the new vehicle. The interior is seen as a living space, surrounded by the highest possible sensuous quality. In the driver-focused cockpit, sports car atmosphere is abundantly clear. Standard specification for the first- ever BMW M8 Coupe includes Leather Merino upholstery, the BMW Display Key, the BMW Head-Up Display, the Parking Assistant Plus and the BMW Live Cockpit Professional (with navigation system and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant). The modern cockpit concept BMW Live Cockpit Professional running on latest BMW Operating System 7.0 includes 3D comprises a high-resolution instrument cluster behind the steering wheel with a screen diagonal of 12.3 inches and a 10.25-inch Control Display. The new BMW M5 Competition.

The design of the BMW M5 Competition conveys pure athleticism with every detail. The specific M design, along with few and clear lines, signals consistent dynamism. Numerous elements in BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line exclusively emphasise the athletic character. The M kidney grille with grille frame, exterior mirror and characteristic M side air vent with M5 designation in Black high-gloss lends a striking, distinctive sporty look. The BMW M5 Competition features a roof made from extremely lightweight, high-strength carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP).

The rear apron and M rear spoiler in Black-high gloss provide an unmistakable identity. The M specific twin tailpipes with a chrome trim allow visible and audible testament to the vehicle’s athletic performance. ‘Competition’ lettering added to black ‘M5’ badge on the boot lid emphasize the exclusivity of the new BMW M5 Competition. The driver assistance systems feature Rear View Camera along with Park Distance Control (PDC) rear and front and Parking Assistant. The latter makes parking in tight spots easier by taking over acceleration, braking as well as steering.

The M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine in the new BMW M5 Competition leaves nothing to be desired. The high-revving power unit delivers its exceptional output of 460 kW/625 hp at 6000 rpm and a tremendous peak torque of 750 Nm. The boost in performance pushes the new BMW M5 Competition from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 3.3 seconds for the ultimate adrenaline kick.

The 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic features extremely short shifting timings and numerous shifting options from very athletic and dynamic to comfortable and fuel-efficient. The gears can also be shifted manually with the gear lever or via gearshift paddles on the steering wheel.

The M Exhaust system comes with an innovative flap concept. The electrically controlled flaps, positioned just before the rear silencer, minimise exhaust backpressure for optimised efficiency and create a distinctively unmistakable BMW M sound across the entire rev range.

The innovative M xDrive drivetrain system combines hallmark M agility and precision provided by standard rear-wheel drive with traction-enhancing benefits of an all-wheel drive. The driver can choose from different configurations based on combinations of DSC modes (DSC on, MDM, DSC off) and M xDrive modes (4WD, 4WD Sport, 2WD). The configurations allow the drive system to be tailored to both the driver’s personal choice and the nature of the journey. Purists can opt for classical rear-wheel drive by deactivating the all-wheel-drive system.

For utmost safety, the new BMW M5 Competition comes with head and side airbags for driver and front passenger as well as head airbags for rear seats as standard. Additional standard equipment includes Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Automatic Stability Control (ASC), M Dynamic Mode (MDM), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dry Braking function and Active M Differential. DSC with M xDrive further enhances the safety aspect.
