Today, IONNA announced it surpassed more than 180 live charging sites nationwide, more than doubling the size of the network since the beginning of 2026. Scaling the National Footprint

Since announcing its strategic partnership with Circle K earlier this year, IONNA has already brought 40 Circle K charging locations online, rapidly expanding charging options across one of America's largest convenience retail networks and doubling the usage of locations following upgrades to IONNA operations.

Removing Friction Through Open Access

In a world of digital saturation, IONNA’s decision to forego a proprietary app was met with…curiosity. However, that choice has paved the way for a deeper focus on seamless integrations, allowing drivers to experience the network using the platforms they already know and love.

Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – May 14, 2026… BMW of North America today announced the launch of a preferred pricing program at IONNA charging locations across the U.S., further enhancing the public charging experience for BMW and MINI electric vehicle drivers.

Starting today, BMW and MINI drivers who initiate charging with Plug & Charge or the My BMW App will receive 20% off charging sessions through September 30, 2026. The offering is fully integrated within the vehicle’s digital ecosystem and automatically applied—no additional cards, subscriptions, or manual activation required. This creates an easy “charge-and-go” experience, underscoring the company’s continued focus on reducing complexity and improving everyday usability as public charging becomes an integral part of electric mobility.

• IONNA and Circle K Enter Partnership to Expand Access to EV Charging in the U.S. at IONNA Rechargeries @ Circle K

DURHAM, N.C.  – April 14, 2026 … IONNA, the charging network founded by eight of the world’s top automakers, including BMW, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis and Toyota, announced a landmark strategic partnership with leading convenience and mobility brand Circle K to significantly expand access to high-powered EV charging across the United States.

The collaboration is centered around a strategic ambition to expand to more than 350 sites featuring Rechargeries @ Circle K, combining IONNA’s charging technology and driver-first experience with Circle K’s nationwide footprint. IONNA, which will assume operation of sites across Circle K’s existing U.S. charging portfolio, will rapidly convert and upgrade approximately 85 existing Circle K charging sites. Additionally, IONNA will accelerate new deployments at premium, high-traffic Circle K locations where no chargers currently exist. The first Rechargeries @ Circle K will begin serving customers by the end of 2026, followed by additional scale in 2027.

Interconnection at IONNA Speed

The phrase ‘it takes a village’ has never rung truer than in developing the IONNA network. Utilities across the country have played an integral role in bringing IONNA Rechargeries online. Alongside organizations such as EPRI and EEI, these companies deployed creative solutions and unprecedented efficiencies to bring our high-powered EV Charging stations online in 2025.

Among them, ten utilities went above and beyond to energize multiple locations in under one year. A further 33 utilities brought a single Rechargery online in their respective service areas.

We hit the ground running in 2026, energizing 212 bays with over 10 utilities, including PG&E, PSE&G, and NV Energy bringing our total count to nearly 1000 bays live across the country.
