BMW CANADA ANNOUNCES PRICING FOR NEW M5

The perfect synthesis of sports car performance and sedan luxury

BMW Canada announced today that the price of its new M5 sports sedan will be
$102,650. Arriving in Canada later this fall, the new M5 will offer customers
the perfect combination of sports car performance and sedan luxury.

"Power, dynamic performance and supreme motoring pleasure are among the M5's
most outstanding features," explains Hendrik von Kuenheim, President and CEO of
BMW's Canadian operations. "At the same time, however, it is efficient, fully
suitable for everyday motoring and extremely comfortable."

The BMW M5 houses a five-litre V8 engine that develops maximum output of
exactly 400 bhp (294 kW) at 6600 rpm and maximum torque of 500 Newton metres
(395 lb-ft) at 3800 rpm. The vehicle comes standard with almost every
available BMW features. These include: heated front seats, Xenon headlights,
6-disc CD changer, Park Distance Control (PDC), Navigation System, extended
Nappa leather interior, and electric rear window blind. In fact, the car is so
fully equipped that there are only three interior features left as options!

The new BMW M5 is destined to once again become an object of individual,
personal passion. After all, owners of such thoroughbred cars express their
increasing desire to have a car custom-built to their own particular
requirements and specifications.

Although the M5 comes fully equipped, it is possible for the vehicle to be
